Tofino Wines

We popped in this place one quiet Sunday afternoon to grab a glass of wine. There's lots of mostly dry wines, and several mixed wines piqued my interest. I tried the Super California Red and enjoyed it quite a bit -- lots of fruitiness (raspberry/blackberry) punching me in a good way. My lady seemed quite pleased with the cortese, which is outside of her element. This place has tons of sitting room, good music playing, and bottles to browse. Our server was super helpful, too. We'd happily come back again.

Great selection of natural wines that are reasonably priced. Staff are knowledgeable and can help with selections. They allow onsite consumption of bottles with a corking fee. They serve food/snacks only on wkends.

Great wines with small bites in a nice yet low key space on Geary. Would definitely go again.

Space is absolutely incredible, open, welcoming and inviting with an amazing sound system! Marc and April are very knowledgeable, I’ve learned so much about natural wine since first going 3 years ago. Food is great, vibe is groovy, selection is dreamy and very reasonably priced.

My favorite wine bar in Sunset/Richmond districts. Lovely space for a drink or two. Great selection of wines from all over the world. I’ve learned quite a bit about old world wines from this place! Back when they used to have wine tastings on Wednesday, it was a really lovely experience. Hope to experience it again in the future!

Fantastic. My wife and I recently loved happy hour, the wines were wonderful and the burrata was delicious. I went back in yesterday hoping to find a wine to give my (very knowledgeable) father-in-law. I'm completely out of my depth with anything French but I was given some wonderful help and knowledge. Highly recommended.

Tofino was outstanding! The atmosphere speaks for itself - spacious and unique. The wine and service are equally as great! April will guide you in making the proper wine selections and you cannot go wrong with the Burrata that's sent from Italy each week. Highly recommend this wine bar and will definitely be back soon!!

Great experience. The atmosphere is unique for Geary and the wines and food are delicious. They sell a variety of bottles as well but charge a corkage fee to drink them there instead of the menu wines. Would definitely go back.

A great neighborhood find, the owners Mark and April do a marvelous job pouring great wine, beer and nibbles. It's often a little Spartan, but a fun crew. A great place for a glass of wine on the way home with a mate or loved one.

The best place!! We let them choose our wines when we go and they never disappoint! We've learned so much from them over the past year and have tried a lotttt of fun and interesting wines.

We love this place- the staff are lovely and so knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a wine, the bar is always a chill place to grab a glass and a snack, and the store selection of bottles is awesome- great wines at reasonable prices!

You'd think San Franciscans think 2pm is a good time to grocery shop at Trader Joe's but maybe too early to go around the corner to have a few glasses of beautiful wine. When we walked in last Saturday afternoon, we were the first customers of the day. What a beautiful space! It definitely doesn't feel like San Francisco or even Napa. I felt like I was somewhere in Europe. Vaulted ceilings. Rustic tables and shelves loaded with great wines. A zinc bar off to the side and well-spaced tables and chairs off to one side in front of huge windows.

Our lovely server was gracious, knowledgeable, and charming in her oversized striped shirt over tapered khakis and flats, set off with red lipstick and a ponytail.

We shared a half-carafe of a beautiful red, followed by a half carafe of a really wonderful rose with just a bit of effervescence. The burratta was fresh and creamy. The French radishes w/ a composed lemon butter and fleur de sel were the perfect complement to the rose.

Good conversation. Good wine. Good food. Is there any better way to while away a lazy Saturday afternoon? Tofino Wines made it special! Go! Now!
