Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carrollton West, an IHG Hotel

My room was clean and comfortable. My TV was missing a HDMI cord and wouldn't work, however, the excellent employee working the front desk went out of her way to bring one to me and hook it up. I'm sorry I only remember her name started with a D.

The problem I had in room 305 was that the tub filled up with water when I took a shower so I was standing in water ankle deep. Also flo from the shower head was either scalding hot or ice cold I could not seem to find anything in between. My coworker in the room next door had the same issue.

Otherwise this is a very nice hotel.

Best hotel I have ever stayed. All the staff was extremely nice and helpful especially our 2nd shift receptionist. This staff at this location really deserve a raise for just being them. I recommend if you need a hotel stay here. I won't be staying anywhere else.

The staff is extremely accommodating. Both mgmt & staff went above & beyond to facilitate a private space for our hair/make-up crew to work at 4am prior to a competition. Rooms were very clean....overall, our stay was super pleasant. Will definitely stay again when we're in the area!

Stayed here for a week for work. I worked nights and really appreciated how quiet it was and the black out curtains so I could sleep during the day. Room was spotless and staff was super friendly.

My favorite hotel to stay at whenever visiting Carrollton for business. Friendly staff who takes care of any concerns on a timely basis. Free breakfast is also convenient. Highly recommended to say the least.

Visiting family and having a clean place to rest at night is definitely where I want to end the day. I have stayed eveytime I've come to Carrollton. Having a good continental breakfast with choice of hot food or grab and go makes the morning easy to start the day. I must say that that Front Desk Guest service Manager, Ayssa Daniel, could not be nicer and friendlier. Can not Thank Bridget enough on the night of arrival for straighting out a mix up, and taking time while they were very busy. She had alot of patience in dealing with the other customers that were waiting Thank You. Knowing me by name makes for being away from home enjoyable. Congrats to the General manager Jacques Myrthil, for a well run business

The staff at checking in and out were friendly. The room was a double queen room. It was clean and very comfortable. The only complaint for the stay was the bathroom only had towels for two people. We had four in the room. Other than that the stay was 5 star worthy. We will definitely stay again when we are in town.

Very clean. The receptionist were great! The bed was the most comfortable that I have ever slept on. We stayed in room 210. I would love to know what type of mattress and if it was medium, medium firm, etc.

This was a great place to stay with a friendly staff. Rooms were terrific and clean, besides just a little bit of rust in the bathtub, you can see in the picture. Highly recommend if you're in the area. The breakfast is really good it is from 6:00 to 10:00. They have an outdoor swimming pool. Games in the lobby like chess checkers and some other board games, TVs. Great stay you won't be disappointed

Customer service. The rooms are clean, everything was in order. The very best part was LAVERNE, the breakfast attendant!! Her service, her smile, her helpfulness and of course the food itself..... Great! Yes, it was hotel breakfast but she took her time, everything was available and she was so nice. The area is very, very clean. I heard other guests complimenting her as well. Great way to start the day heading to my meeting! Thank you

I can always rely on HIE to exceed my expectations for comfort and quality. Never had a bad experience. Newly renovated. Always quiet. Clean. Anything I needed was happily provided by the front desk. I loved our room and I hate to even complain or whine, but, I do just want to add that there were pieces of shredded balloon scattered about the room when we got there, it wouldn't be any sort of problem if we didn't have a one year old who hunts and eats anything and everything he finds on the floor 😑

Breakfast was great. Room had all the new amenities that older hotels do not (or improvise very badly). The room and site was very clean and nicely appointed. Bathroom was large with plenty of room for 2 to be in there and move around at the same time, which was unusually nice. Extra chair and desk in the room was nice, and awesome modern desk light. TV was great, slim and large with a good picture.
Desk clerk wasn't exactly the nicest and outgoing person. I'm not saying they were mean, but just not exactly the type of person/personality you would think would be a hotel desk clerk to check us in and great a weary traveler. They did later get a special request for an extra towel and shampoo without complaint... it was just more the uninterested demeanor than anything.
Ice machine available, but only on first and third floors, but there was no signage to tell you that. We only found out by exploring our floor (2nd) for nothing and never finding it, then calling the front desk and having to go to the 3rd floor. Put a sign in the elevator or something.

We've stayed here twice now, once in January and again in August. Both experiences have been great. Clean rooms with a good layout, helpful and friendly staff, good location, and they seem to do many little things better than even other Holiday Inns. A really random thing is they have a lot more channels than any other hotel, which doesn't really affect much but it's a nice change from watching the same shows every night on the road. Also, this tends to be cheaper than other hotels, though it seems that hotels in Carrollton tend to be cheaper than elsewhere regardless (ex, in August the Holiday Inn 2 nights earlier was $120, here we paid $90; both weeknights).

Super quiet. Beautiful, clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Brand new. The free breakfast was kinda sub-par compared to other Holiday Inns. Everything tasted like it came straight from the freezer then microwave. No traditional cinnamon rolls like Holiday Inns have. Breakfast attendant was unfriendly when I asked about them. I'd still go back there but not count on breakfast.

Ms. Paula went above and beyond to find our volleyball team 12 rooms in one day! She was so professional and kind and made our team feel so welcomed!! The hotel was very clean, and modern. The breakfast was perfect as well!!! Overall the staff and the hotel were excellent. Thank you all so much everything!!!!!!!

We checked in on 10/7/2017 and walked in and said wow! The staff and atmosphere was really awesome. This place felt like a mini spa. It was definitely a treat for my family to stay here. The room was so nice I didn't want to leave. The service was amazing and you can tell housekeeping is awesome as well they keep that place so clean. Will definitely be a returning customer to this location

This hotel was clean, comfortable and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care us before we even asked. We stayed 2 nights while in town for a dance competition. They started breakfast early to make sure the kids ate before they danced, left makeup wipes in our room without request and gave us the neatest sleep kit. We felt relaxed from the time we checked in which is so important during these stressful weekends. Highly recommend!

Wonderful, clean, relaxing, we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our weekend. My wife and I came into town for a wedding. Sonya greeted us with a smile and made sure that we were comfortable while we were there. The room and the amenities we're like new. All the staff that we had interactions with we're polite, friendly and had a smile. Thank you guys, we will be coming back to visit with you again.

Place is clean and staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I would like to have more direction to find the hotel a little bit easier.
