The Edgartown Inn

A phenomenal experience at this property! I could not have been more pleased with the selection for this surprise birthday getaway for my wife. We were warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival. Our room was PERFECT. The complimentary breakfast consisted of a wonderful variety and right-sized portions. But the most memorable part of our stay was how the staff (Neusa, Allison & Angela) made us feel-like we were family!!! Thank you all for making our first trip to Martha's Vineyard so enjoyable!!

This is a superior hotel. Newsq (my apologies if I misspelled her name). She wrote it on a card for me in my pictures attached. She was so warm, so pleasant, so genuine, and extremely hospitable. We stayed in Room # 11 for the Memorial Weekend 2024. The hotel is located in the heart of Edgartown. The shops and restaurants are just feet away. However, you may just want to stay inside or even outside. From the patio’s rocking chairs, to the living room’s cozy couch, the intimate cafe style dining area or the firepit outside; you’ll have plenty of options for relaxing and taking in the fresh air of Edgartown. I must make a note that the cleanliness is impeccable. I’m all about dusting and sweeping in the corners of my own home and there was no detail missed. And did I mention the warm, homemade cookies served at 4PM. Oh My God. Check out my pictures of this super chic hotel and reserve your stay for the summer!

My husband and I recently stayed at The Edgartown Inn during a day trip to Martha's Vineyard. I can't rave enough about how attentive and kind the staff were! Before we arrived, they had texted to check on our arrival time and any needs, upon checkin they told us the hotel was lightly booked (due to an incoming hurricane, ha!) and they had upgraded our room. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated (just like the hotel) and had a lovely balcony. The small touches (from cookies in the afternoon, an amazing breakfast spread in the am complete with iced coffee, which this Californian really appreciated to a selection of teas with a kettle in the lobby and our building) made the entire experience feel personal and relaxing. Would definitely book again! It was also located walking distance from all of the shops in Edgartown and the lighthouse. Just great!

What a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are modern, staff is so welcoming and helpful, ambience is lovely, and the breakfasts are quite nice. There is a beautiful sitting room in the front, plenty of seating and a firepit in the courtyard, lovely porch, and great views. The Inn is ideally located right across from the water and within short walking distance of everything Edgartown has to offer. We loved staying here during our Martha’s Vineyard visit!

I was staying in the Hotel for 5 days and it was the Best Hotel ever. The front Desk Neusa was so nice and very professional in dealing with the customers and she takes care of every concern i needed from the direction and to every places in town. Together with the other staff Jessica, Nicole and Alex are also great. They are all friendly and approachable to all the customer’s concern.
The hotel location is perfect for every one who is new in the Island. Its very close to everything you need, especially the restaurants and all shops. The rooms are excellent. Of all the hotels i’ve ever been its the best Mattress and pillows ever-very soft and comfy, i don’t want to get up in bed lol..the shower is very nice snd their towels very clean and soft. Everything is very neat and clean for their staff cleans your room every time you want to. I highly recommend this Hotel to everyone who wants to visit the Island. And trust me you will never regret. Omg the breakfast is so great fresh juice and fruits etc that they are serving every morning. With coffee and tea and water, you name it its there. The Wifi is excellent . I never regret staying in the hotel and was so happy during my stay.

Just spent an extended weekend at this beautiful inn and had a wonderful time. Visiting for a family wedding. The rooms are lovely and the staff so kind and helpful. An adorable outdoor common patio with ample seating and fire pit. Perfect for an end-of-day relaxation. Great luxury value in a very expensive destination.Walking distance from everything. Perfect continental breakfast.So pleased with our stay. Their Covid policy states very clearly that room would be cleaned daily upon request. Completely understandable. I saw this mentioned in other reviews and I have to say we were approached by more than one staff member asking us if we needed anything for the room on the days that we did not elect for housekeeping services. Hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms are beautiful. A delightful experience.Will 100% stay here again!

There was such a welcoming, friendly vibe here. The location is perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of the shops, but only a minute walk away. The front porch was my favorite. But the patio in back is awesome. Rooms are small, but we didn't mind, we were out and about most days. The property is immaculate. The staff is the best part of this place. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, and personable. We will definitely choose The Edgartown Inn when we come back!

We planned a girls trip here for the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend. OMG firs this place is in the PERFECT location!! You'll be walking distance to everything in Edgartown. It is a beautiful house/inn with lots of rooms.

One of the best parts was Alison - she was the GM and at the front desk for the majority of our stay. She literally made our trip! She gave us tons of suggestions, booked things for us, went above and beyond and just really helped us enjoy Martha's Vineyard. We LOVED her!!

I would come back anytime. It was the most perfect stay and Alison - you're amazing!!!! We miss you already ha!

Lovely small hotel with great, very tastefully decorated rooms. Incredibly friendly staff and a great location with many things to see and do in walking distance. On our trip we were in some places with a questionable price-value equation or photos in the web we would need recognize when arriving. This was NOT one of them. Everything was as expected or better!

We stayed here for three nights and it was beautiful. The staff was helpful and accommodating, the breakfasts were lovely, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We loved sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and chatting with other guests. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.

My Husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary weekend. It’s been such a wonderful 4 nights! Location is perfect. The manager, Gabriel and staff are truly wonderful. Def would return. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Edgartown Inn. The location was perfect -- out of the way enough to be peaceful, but close enough to town to walk to the shops and restaurants. We stayed in the smallest room in the inn and it was perfect. Private bath, comfy bed and no TV, so we could truly unplug. Sandi, the innkeeper could not have been lovelier, and the same can be said about Claire, her assistant. Everything was clean and homey. The continental breakfast was perfect, with warm homemade coffee cake and our choice of freshly made bread for toasting. If you have the opportunity to try the Cheese Toast, I highly recommend it. If you are looking for a wonderful experience, this is the place to stay. We will 100% be back.

The location of the inn is perfect. The room #11 was nicely appointed and very clean. We loved that everything is in walking distance. Alexandru was a pleasure to be acquainted with! he gave us many tips on where to dine and certain art galleries to visit. My wife and I look forward to our next visit and hope Alexandru will be there to give us more fantastic recommendations

Absolutely outstanding. A wonderful adapted use of an old victorian. The rooms leave very little to be desired. Everything is clean and tidy and meets/exceeds expectations. The location could not be more ideal.

But most important is the style of hospitality. There is a casual “come and go as you are” nature that is very inviting. Everyone is warm and welcoming (and also quite helpful for local recommendations). Big shoutout to Kaitlyn.

Whether you’re in town for a week or just for the night, I highly recommend this place. It’s the quintessential inn that you’re looking for.

They were extremely accommodating throughout our stay. Great AC, great local recs, and they had absolutely everything we needed. We will definitely be staying there again and will suggest it to all our friends!!

Stayed there with my parents in the late 1960's. Very nice rooms, great food and the owners treated us like family. Met a lot of interesting people. Would love to go there again.

We stay every august. Charming, intimate b &b perfect location, well run, well priced. Stayed many other places on the island and now we look no further.
