No matter the season, Lake Julian is always a great choice for a stroll. Since they no longer have food stations for the ducks, everyone is calmer and more enjoyable to watch. 5 stars, even with the wind!

Y’all don’t be afraid to bring some cracked corn along or some feed for the ducks and chickens. The water here completely kills and food source there may be for them. So without us feeding them, they will starve. The park is beautiful. And it’s well kept. The staff is very friendly. Park closes at 8pm on the dot. Be kind to the environment and the park. Please pick up faster yourselves. Especially you people that love leaving deflated balloons after a birthday party. Have some respect. Also if you happen to stop by and see a wonderful woman named Mrs. Mary feeding the ducks and geese, it’s truly an honor to meet her. She is the staple of the Park in my opinion, and She has been feeding these babies for years. Without her starting to help out I don’t believe there would be many ducks or Geese left. She does this all on her own y’all. There’s actually a group of three Women who come to feed.

This is a great park!!

The park has many animals, including ducks, geese, birds, and fish. Very fun for children and anyone who likes animals to explore.

The park is beautiful and full of trees and pebbles near the shore.

There are paddle boat rides that are not very expensive and super fun! At least one person must paddle at the front, but either way is fun. If you are at the back, be warned that water may come up to your shoes!

Really awesome little sitting spot. Definitely closes at 7, they made that pretty clear. This is the disc golf side (I didn't play, but it looked kinda more technical than bomb shots). Lake Julian Park on maps will take you to another side, with a playground, dock, walking area and lot of ducks. Really gorgeous! Check out the cloud rainbow

This park has recently improved greatly. He wants nearly impassable road has been paved. The park has been spruced up including new play accessories for kids. We use the picnic shelters for a company outing. It was perfect. The lake itself is picturesque and an ideal Summer location to visit. The park is well-maintained and parking is adequate.

Nice park with plenty of room for kids to play. Boats can be rented to paddle on the lake. This park has been around for a long time. Good place to have a pic-nick , take your canoe on the lake or have the kids play on the playground. You just can't swim because of the under currants.

Lake Adger is a recreational Lake.
Picnic shelters, boating, but no swimming. Restroom facilities are available. As well as a kids park.
Plenty of benches along the lake to view the mountains and wikdlife.
Free and pet friendly. Great place to stop and enjoy an outdoor setting.
Located near Arden, off I-26, just south of Asheville and north of Hendersonville, NC.

Wonderful park with an opportunity to teach children a little bit about wildlife, as the ducks will come right up to you. Food dispensers are available if you'd like to feed them too.

Great park beautiful lake and lots of ducks. Stop to grill something real fast and they close at 7:45p.m. So I got here at the wrong time but definitely going back to enjoy this park in the morning.

Having two girls nine years and one day apart, I've spent many years at parks the girls would enjoy. Lake Julian offers so many fun things to do.

Great playground for my grandkids. Nice lake. They were getting ready for the Christmas light drive-thru, but we were able to play anyway. Loved the musical instruments to play, too.

This park is a great place to enjoy nature and relax. It's totally free to enter. It has picnic tao, shelters and playground. They have recently added these delightful oversized musical instruments for kids to play. They have paddle boats for rent and you can fish too. I have been through to see the Christmas lights too! Definitely a must see place if you are in the area and want a nice place to unwind.

My family and I had an amazing day out at Lake Julian Park for Dog Day! We even got to go pedal boating for the first time. We will definitely be back! Absolutely beautiful.

I have gone to this park since I was a kid. I always loved feeding the ducks and playing in the playground. About a year ago they add a second play area to their park and me and my daughter just love going to it. When we are in the area I try to make time to stop and play❤

My son loves coming here. There is plenty to do. Fishing, the playground, camp stoves, paddle boat rentals, and duck feeding. They recently added a new playground that really is amazing. You can rent covered picnic areas for parties for a reasonable price. I came here as a kid and now love bringing my son

Beautiful park, lovely lake to kayak. $8 for a day on the lake. Enjoyable, lots of amenities, and public restrooms. Guides were helpful. Only thing I'll say is wear shoes you don't care about because there is a lot of duck poop.

What a great place to take the family. We went for the winter light festival and it was beautiful. It feels like going thru a tunnel of Christmas. Only thing it was missing was snow but nothing they could do there.
