I adore Asheville Hair Design Inc!!! I had to move from the area in July 2023, and drove 2.5 hours to get my hair done in December because I just can't find anyone as amazing as they are! Truly, such a wonderful team of people. I always love my results(the photo is the latest color I got done) and they are so kind, inclusive and warm. We always have great chats and I miss having such an awesome team close by!!! You will not be disappointed!!! 🩷💜❤💙💚

As soon as I walked in I knew I was going to be happy! I have had a terrible time trying to find someone to cut my short hair in Asheville and do it right. Tricia is a true artist! I had three compliments on my hair before I got home. Two people wanted to know exactly where I got it done because they have had the same trouble. Not only did Tricia give me a great cut, I also saw her work with long hair on the person ahead of me and it was beautiful! You cannot go wrong at Asheville Hair Design!

I have been a customer of Asheville Hair Design for about 8 years. Tricia has given me wonderful hair cuts and color ( I also get highlights about every other visit). That is why I continue to visit this salon so faithfully. Often friends and strangers tell me how great my hair looks and then ask me where I have my hair styled. I am happy to refer them to AHD. Just recently Alisha joined the team and she did my last two touch ups. Alisha did a great job and I enjoyed the time I spent in her chair. She is very nice and made the time fly by. I believe if you visit Asheville Hair Salon you will be very pleased with the experience.

I attended my best friend's wedding and a little insecure and disappointed with a recent haircut I received from another salon - the stylist didn't quite "get" what I was going for... When seated at the after ceremony dinner I met Trish and described the hairstyle I had originally desired. She gave me her card and said: I can do that for you. And eleven years later I do not trust my locks to anyone else. Everyone in the studio feels like a friend. It is as if time slows down, my shoulders relax and the outside world and all it's stresses are not permitted to enter the creative space. My advice to you, is to stop looking and make an appointment.

I met Alisha today and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She listened to what I wanted, talked me through it, asked questions, and was super fun to talk to! The salon has a very cool vibe, and there was a lot of laughter, which is always a plus!

Alisha did a great job with my highlights and haircut, I absolutely love it! It was such a fun experience watching Alisha learn, ask questions, and get guidance from Tricia. I was grateful to be a part of it and see the respect the two had for each other as student and teacher. I really look forward to going back to Alisha in a couple months and seeing how much more she has learned! Great atmosphere, Tricia and Alisha are a lot of fun!!

Tricia and her team did my hair for my wedding - but the service they provided was so much more then that. They kindly allowed my make up artist to come to the salon the day I had my hair trial so she could do my make up trial at the same time. The whole salon chipped in and helped me with my hair and make up - offering suggestions. It felt more like hanging with friends then being at a posh salon. My husband came back between my trial and the wedding to participate in their 11th birthday celebrating which was a blast. The morning of my wedding Tricia and her team arrived right on time with all their kit. They were professional, friendly and everyone looked amazing. There were a lot of different hair types - long and curly to thin and short and they were great with all of them. I can't recommend AHD enough - I am only sad I can't swing by and hang out!

Tricia was awesome! Really took her time to find out what was important to me for my haircut. I have curly hair and this was the first Deva cut I have had. I walked into the salon a frizz ball and walked out like Shirley Temple. Tricia taught me a lot about my hair and how to work with it the right way. By far the most fun I have had getting a haircut. She did a great job with my highlights as well. Very natural. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a wonderful experience with Tricia! This is the best haircut I’ve had in a very long time. It’s exactly what I wanted. Never have I left this salon with a single bad thought. They are more than polite, professional, and punctual. I never know what I want to do with my hair, but Tricia always does the right thing for me! The pricing is reasonable and very much worth the experience. I can go in to my appointment in a bad mood from my day and I always leave happy and smiling! Highly recommend them.

I have only ever had the most positive uplifting experiences with Tricia at Asheville Hair Design. Not only is she incredibly skilled and talented with hair design, but she's also an excellent human. She's one of the most thoughtful people I know and she's always figuring out how to make the world better, more colorful, and more full of music and sunshine. You don't just get your hair done here. It's an experience!

Tricia is amazing. My first visit she explained how cutting Curley and straight hair was different, walking through each step and the best product to use. My roots were touched up the first visit. On the second Tricia added highlights and I couldn’t be more pleased!! I love my color and curley locks! I would recommend anyone to this salon.

I had a lot of questions about possibly putting layers back in my baby fine hair but Tricia listened to all my concerns and took the time to look at pictures. She came up with a style that had layers and would still grown out well if I didn’t like it. I have a very versatile haircut that I love!! We always have fun conversations while she cuts, too! The shop is very COVID conscious and I always feel safe!
