Mountain Fresh Orchard

This apple farm was so awesome! They have all sorts of delicious food, and the people that work there are really friendly and inviting. There was a small line but it went super fast. I liked how they labeled their different apples with suggestions on what they are best for, it was really helpful. They also have a cute little train for kids to ride in. This place, although seemingly much smaller, is far less crowded than Granddad's apples, and their apple cider donuts are amazing!! I got donuts, apple fritter, pecan pie, apple salsa, fudge, cider, and of course a ton of apples and everything I've tried so far has been incredible. There are these apples that they sell that are a cross between fuji and honeycrisp (evercrisp?) that are worth the trip there alone.

A highlight on our trip to NC! The donut was warm and the dough was the best iv ever had! A wonderful family business to support !

My wife and I stop here every time we are remotely near the area. Picked up apple cider donuts for our wedding. If able, have a apple cider slushy. Tons of baked yummies, everything apple.

Great place to shop for apples, baked goods, and cider. ADA accessible. Lots of level parking, very nice facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice selection of cheeses, baked goods, varieties of apples, and no long waits. Go every year. Highly recommend!

Got apple cider donuts, apple cider slushies, apple cider, berry tarts, and Apple fritters. So worth the wait! If you’re visiting in fall (October) on the weekends, just prepare yourself to wait in line awhile to checkout. Good thing is that it feels great outside while you wait in line.

What fun! The train ride was enjoyable for all ages and went around the orchard on a perfect crisp fall day. Excellent baked goods and a good variety of freshly picked apples. HUGE cabbages and some nice butternut and spaghetti squash too. We were a little early for pumpkin, so will have to go back. Staff was friendly too!

Excellent selection of apples and their apple cider donuts are a must have! My husband and I stop here every year to load up on donuts. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting in a couple weeks!

Amazing apple fritter and this BBQ sauce is absolutely amazing. Got 3 more jars before we left town.

Randomly stopped through last year as we were heading home to Charleston. You’d expect apples which we bought bushels of. It was the baking, the confectionary , everything apple, hot and delicious. 2023 will see us making a trip back to Mountain Fresh Orchard as a destination. I’m salivating already.

Wonderful experience with fair prices! The train ride was fun. The hot apple cider, apple cider donuts, and pumpkin bread were all great.

Such a fantastic place to stop in at! When the lines were too crazy at other doughnut stops, we found ourselves here. We were so impressed by the cider, doughnuts and kind customer services. They have a veriety of apples, pumpkins and desserts.

All staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Cider slushes were refreshing and a great idea considering the warmer temperature. Cider donuts were hot, fresh, and delicious. Would recommend stopping by.

Ibe been coming here for the last 8 years and have never been disappointed. From the variety apples to the apple fritters,it has always pleased my palate.U cant go wrong stopping here for your apples and other stuff!!!!

This is a great Orchard. We stopped to pick up some fresh apple cider and apple butter and some donuts. Everything here is so clean. It all looks wonderful.

This cider is out of this world. It tastes like fresh apples with sweetness. But not over powering in the sweetness. Very delicious. Apple fritters and dounts are good.

Awesome staff & orchard goods! I got the apple cider donuts warm - melt in your mouth good! You just need to ask for them. Mountain Fresh Orchard has quite a number of apples to choose from and, best yet, you can sample them all! There are so many different varieties of ciders, jams, jellies, and baked goods. I would have shared a picture of my donuts if I hadn't demolished them so quickly!
