Yellow Submarine

The food was delicious. The meatball sub was fantastic, and had what I consider a double portion of meatballs at no extra cost. The Greek salad was good, but needed Kalamata olives instead of black olives. Salads, subs, and pizza were all well liked by our group.

Had pizza and wings. Delicious all around. Had both bone in and boneless wings. Bone in where a bit better as they had a little crispy to them. Pizzas where great sauce was sweet. Atmosphere of the restaurant was fun and playful within the theme of yellow submarine. Will be going back.

Stopped by to grab lunch. Gentleman that took our order was very friendly. We had the basket of onion rings, the Chicken Ranch sub and the Italian Grinder. Everything was fresh and the onion rings were the best I’ve ever had. So crunchy. Definitely be back soon.

My hubby and I had a 12" Yellow Submarine Philly Steak and split it. They were kind enough to divide it to seperate it and gave us both a bag of chips as a side. Will definitely try more before leaving the area. Didn't get a picture unfortunately.

A nice experience. We went because my adult special needs son loves the song they named their eatery after.
The food was good. The atmosphere was nice. The owner donated a shirt for an autism benefit we were doing just shortly after our trip.

Our first time trying and so glad we decided on it. My husband and I ordered Strombolis for delivery. Expected arrival was an hour from order time but we were pleasantly surprised when the delivery guy arrived 30 minutes early…of course it is winter and the off season. Each Stromboli was about 6” to 7” long and maybe 4” at widest section, accompanied by two cups of marinara sauce. I ate half of mine as one stromboli could easily serve two people.They were cooked beautifully, the dough was crispy, golden brown on the outside and fluffy inside, the cheese was perfectly melted and the fillings were steaming hot. With tip the price was a little over $40 which we felt was reasonable for a meal made fresh with quality ingredients that could have served four people. We will definitely order on our next trip to Nags Head.

We are here visiting from Virginia and were referred by our hotel receptionist after we inquired about a good place to get a cheesy pizza. She recommended Yellow Submarine and we decided to give them a try. We ordered the wings and a pepperoni pizza with extra sauce and extra cheese. We were not disappointed. It was so much better than any pizza we had back home from Pizza Hut. We will definitely order again thank you so much for making a Great Pie!

These guys are serious sandwich builders. My wife had a 6" turkey sub while I like a 6" spicy Italian sub. Both were jam packed with meat, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. In other words, everything that's supposed to be in or on a sandwich was present and accounted for.
If I had to complain about something, it would be that when I ordered and paid for the food up front, the machine automatically asked how much to tip. I told the guy, "its already asking me how much to tip you". I don't tip until AFTER I eat to see how good it is or isn't and how good the service is or isn't. The guy quickly bypassed the message, we ate and left a good tip.

It's a nice local pizza place that serves beer. We ordered fries, wings, and a cheese steak. All the food was delicious. It's very clean and the service is great.

A wonderful place to enjoy dine in with friends or family. I enjoyed their delicious Yellow Sub and Pepperoni Pizza Roll/Rip Curls. 🤤 YUM! This place also does delivery. Their manager, Henry, has an efficacious demeanor. It was a pleasure getting to interact with him and the other Front of House crew.

My husband and I had the meat lovers pizza with a house salad. The salad was very fresh and the pizza was so delicious. When we crave pizza, we'll definitely return.

Quality takeout, more than a basic pizza shop, would highly recommend for a last minute dinner pickup. Rip Curls are very tasty as well!

Ordered sandwiches for supper after a day on the beach...we had the Italian grinder and the club. Both were so delicious!! Ignore any negative reviews, some people just have their nose outta joint. This place has great food!!

Yellow Submarine offers delicious pizza and a variety of subs and salads. Located in the shopping center between Home Goods and Fresh Market, it is easy to access. They have some indoor seating and 2 outdoor picnic tables. They offer great to-go service as well. Our favorites are the meat lovers pizza and Greek salad - large portion and always super fresh!

Loved this place! There were 8 of us and everyone seemed to really enjoy their food! We had loaded fries (yummy battered fries with lotsssss of stretchy cheese!), buffalo chicken sub, philly cheesesteak, ripcurls, a calzone, chick bacon ranch sub. The bread on the subs was excellent! Perfectly soft and toasty. GREAT JOB GUYS! 👍

Down for the weekend and was recommended Yellow Submarine! Got a large half cheese half pepperoni and it was a 10/10. Crust was crunchy. Perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni was so good!! Highly highly recommended!!

Plus you can just order a 6er of domestic beers to go too.

I'm from New Jersey. If we do one thing right, it's a cheesesteak. They do cheesesteaks right. Philly steak no onions and jalapenos. One of the best steaks I've ever had.

Wife and I got down on Sunday and we wanted Pizza!!!! Sister and Brother in law said this was fantastic so we decided to try it. Not only was the pizza amazing that first day but we ate on it for several days and it never got old.

Run don’t walk to get their rip curls. They are absolutely delicious!!!!! Like one of the best things ever. Cheesy, garlicky, pizza rolls. We get them with pepperoni. And I could drink their ranch by the cup 😂. Just trust me… GET THEM!!
