Nollie's Taco Joint

Great experience at Nollie’s! A must stop during your visit to CB. We went twice during our weekend trip. Heads up, they don’t have their own parking so you will have to park elsewhere or walk. Luckily we were staying within walking distance. Also it is a very small place with minimal inside seating, highly recommend going during an off-time and sitting at the bar to get the whole vibe!

I also got the steak taco on my visit but didn’t feel it’s as up to par as the others!

After experiencing the worst fish taco on the coast, I decided to give Nollie’s Taco Joint in Carolina beach a try. What a delight! They have indoor and outdoor seating that is very quaint and tucked between all the changes happening in Carolina Beach. Parking was available.
Their section of beer was ideal. The food ( we had various tacos ) was excellent. My taste buds were happy to have a flavorful Mahi Taco that had the perfect seasoning and accompanying ingredients. The waitress was helpful, friendly without being annoying and she even gave us a fan to keep outdoor flies away while we ate. Definitely a must place to eat at Carolina Beach.

Conveniently located on Carolina Beach. Great tacos with so many options for people with dietary restrictions and are also delicious. I tried the jackfruit taco out of curiosity which was so good! Highly recommend the shrimp taco. Love the graffiti around the restaurant. All staff were very friendly and kind.

Nollie's was the first spot we ate at when moving to Carolina Beach in August 2023. Our whole family loves their taco's and chips. We are vegan, so we love that they have vegan options, and they are more than helpful accommodating any changes to our order. The staff and vibe is very friendly/laid back. We now visit at least weekly, and love that the food is always good and service is spot on.

Also, prices can't be beat!

Woah this place exceeded my expectations! They took tacos that could have been boring and just OK and made this super good! The staff were fast and friendly. The protein on each taco was pretty good! I got one Method Mahi with grilled Mahi which was super tasty, just could have used a tad bit more mahi. I also got the Cross Bone Chicken, which the chicken was slightly chewy but overall had a great flavor. The toppings (veggies) and sauces on both tacos were Fresh and Delicious . Love that they have vegetarian options too. Oh and their tortillas were so good!! I come to CB all the time but this was my first time at Nollies.
I’ll definitely be making this a usual spot.

Awesome spot to grab lunch with wonderful outdoor seating and great tacos (the fried mahi was fabulous!! Wow!). Loved all the stickers and art. Definitely will plan to stop again on a future beach trip!

I love this place so much. I wanted to have my baby shower here until my friends told me a taco shack covered in skateboards wasn’t an appropriate venue for a baby shower. So, I ditched the friends and went to Nollies for some tacos.

FR the Tofu tacos are my fave but you honestly can’t go wrong with any choice❤

Super friendly staff and great food! I had an asada and a shrimp taco. Staff recommend a new local honey lager, which hit the spot on a warm day. Good vibes.

The hubby and I came here on the recommendation of my friend's pregnant sister who craved only these tacos during her pregnancy. We got married 1 year ago on the beach right across the street from this beach so we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary as well as hub's birthday!! The food was amazing and the service was top notch. They gave a bowl of water for our maltipoo and some treats! Get this, they even have a doggie taco! Definitely will be returning 100%!!

One of my top 5 favorite taco joints. The ingredients are so fresh! Cheese dip is delicious with a lot of peppers and a nice kick. Not your average white queso dip. They have beer here and can make you a beer margarita. Quick and friendly service. Nice menu for those with special diets.

Awesome little taco joint. The best Mahi I've ever had, I asked the server and she said it was a local catch. The waitress was very nice and the food was awesome. Love the skater feel here, tons of boards on the walls and all the food has skateboard related names. Very cool place and amazing food. My favorite taco joint hands down.

GREAT tacos, fair prices (for food n’ beer) and a nice, low-key atmosphere. This could quickly become one of our area favorites (followed by a trip to Fat Pelican).

Awesome little place for craft beer, burritos, tacos and such. Loved it so much went twice during our 4 night stay! Food was fresh and delicious! We had different staff each night and both nights we had great service. We’ll be going back here on our next visit to Carolina Beach!

Wasn't expecting jackfruit tacos to be on the menu but I was excited to try them and they were great. Server was quick and friendly even when we walked in 3 minutes before they opened. My hubby loved his breakfast burrito. The micheladas were some of the best we have found in the U.S. Hot sauce bar had some unique options and the decore kept your eyes busy! Great spot!

Oh god yes! Super friendly staff. Great menu with plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Freshly made chips, salsas, and guac were all fantastic. Also had the refried bean, marinated tofu, and "pesky" fish taco. Hard to pick a favorite bc all were outstanding. And they have a hot sauce bar! Also $2 Imperial cans. Planned to have one, ended up having three. That's how you do it!

Was walking back from the beach and this girl was dressed as a taco. Made me trust this place was about the taco life. Got a bacon and chorizo to try out even though i wasn’t hungry. Damn good. I can imagine how good it would have been if I was hungry.

Were on vacation for my wife's birthday, and this place did not disappoint. I got the Airwalk Asada steak quesadilla and my wife got some vegetarian tacos (TicTacsTofu and Kimba Jackfruit). Also the queso is amazing! They have 3 different veggie options! Really cool atmosphere and awesome service. I would highly recommend!!!!
