Katie D's NY Bagels & Deli

Really cute place. The lady who assisted us with our order was amazing. She was very helpful and kind. She said, “yes ma’am” to me after everything, and it was so sweet I ended up saying “yes ma’am” to my husband on accident because it was heavy in my mind. 😂

They serve bagels, custom make your own sandwiches that are made with Boars Head meat, and they have an array of side salad options to go with it. There is a small seating area inside and a few tables out front.

I had an Italian hoagie with lettuce, jalapeños, tomatoes, and roasted red peppers. The sandwich usually has balsamic vinaigrette, but I opted for mayo. My sandwich was super tasty, and the macaroni salad was very good too. I am pretty picky about that so I was very impressed.

My husband had turkey and jalapeño jack cheese on a toasted everything bagel with his choice of toppings. He also enjoyed his very much.

I would definitely recommend this cute, local spot.

This breakfast spot is top-notch. We got three different things--the bagel with lox and cream cheese (killer), ham egg and cheese bagel (killer), and a ham bacon and cheese croissant (also killer--yes, I tried all three). Beyond that, I was really impressed by how thoughtfully packaged each was. The bagel came in foil wrap (to keep it warm and moist), the croissant came in a better ventilated plastic container (because no one wants a soggy croissant), and the lox bagel came in butcher paper (because it's classy and doesn't need to be kept hot). Support a great biz and have a great breakfast or lunch.

Well worth the travel. Love the bagels. They are the real deal. Chewy and delicious. Loved the French toast bagel but personally went for the everything. Wanted to give a special shout out to Shelley for the unbelievable service. She even refilled my free water several times. Fun place and cool atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Will be back soon. By the way we forgot our Cranberry bars, will be back soon to redeem. Couldn’t believe we got all the way back to Cedar Mountain and forgot them.

Great service, delicious sandwiches, fast food for individuals, slower for groups but the staff checked in on our group multiple times during the wait! Highly recommend when in Tryon

Nice atmosphere (lots of art and paintings on the walls), great variety of food and bread/bagel options and very generous with portions. Highly recommend! They stacked my bagel order with lots (custom 8oz sandwich)!

Hands down the BEST bagel/deli stop I have been to since moving to this area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is DELICIOUS !! The shop itself is clean and interesting. Make a trip here, you wont be disappointed.

The cutest of sandwich shops! I'm always on the lookout for cute places to eat so finding Katie D's right down the road was a pleasant surprise.
We were instantly greeted with friendly hellos when we walked in and they explained the menu and let us take our time.
I did a veggie build your own sandwich and my husband got the Dolores sandwich.
I really enjoyed the side of pasta salad, and the chips they sell are super crunchy.
We loved it and can't wait to come back next time we visit Tryon!

Best experience in town! Friendly staff and excellent bagel sandwiches. I had ham, egg, swiss sandwich on Asiago bagel, awesome! Eclectic decor, must visit.

I was in town for a virtual doctors appointment. I am from SC but had to be in the state of NC for the appointment. Tryon was the closest border town to get to, but I hadn’t thought about needing WIFI connection. I went into Katie Ds to see where I could find WIFI and they very graciously gave me their private WiFi password. Forever grateful ❤

Stopped by on a whim and o my it was sooo good. Had a breakfast sandwich.. soo good. I will try and make for lunch too because the pasta salad looked sooo good. Staff was friendly and patient and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

A little slice of NY in a little southern town! Fabulous NY Bagels flown in daily and Katie understands what a schmear is! Everything is excellent quality from the coffee to her shrimp salad (soooo good!) Plus Katie does food for catering. Always a pleasure to go to Katie D's!

First visit. Food was amazing!!! Sandwiches were fresh and delish. Didn't know you could get that much meat on a Rueben. Bummed we didn't get to try the bagel. Next time!! Highly recommend this place 👌
