Garden Gate Shop

Great botanical gardens gift shop. They have glass plates, glasses, birds and more. Books, artwork and postcards. there are lovely t-shirts and sweatshirts. Jewelry items like necklaces, bracelets and earrings. some items for children. Including chocolate and candy. Oh wait. live orchids and houseplants. I purchased a beautiful light green variegated pothos plant I've never seen before. it looks gorgeous. Support small business.

Garden gate shop was fantastic I love a good gift shop I had a wonderful time at the botanical garden today highly recommended! Who knew there was such a gem right in the city of St Louis!

This is a beautiful gift shop with all kinds of interesting item. They have all kinds of plants in here to purchase.

Awesome shop inside MoBot with a huge selection of house plants plus all kinds of other items for the home. You will pay a premium, but everything appears to be high quality. To my knowledge, you can visit the shop without paying the admission fee.

We were last here in mid October and they were also selling bulbs of various landscape plants.

Lots of unique gift items in this store inside the botanical gardens. Some of them are hand made, and many are very useful. During the Chihuly exhibit, they have a few of his art pieces for sale. They are a bit pricey but it's nice to have the option to buy if the mood strikes that direction.

Went for the first time in over a year. Renovations are spectacular.

You can't go to MOBOT without getting something from here. I'm sure it'll be even larger once the new building is completed.

I have to say the new entry and the new shop are very nice. It did seem a little smaller than the old, but I saw a lot of what I was used to seeing. They did a great job, I recommend checking it out

Great place to pick up random gifts and chocolate. They sell canned Boba tea here, Japanese candy, and gifts for just about anyone. Love the space in the new building!

Great place to buy plants for your garden. They are so well cared for and loved. You can find plants here that are not available anywhere in in St. Louis. Ask for a care sheet at check out, 90% of the time they'll have one for you. I stop by every time I visit the garden because I just love to see what's new in the store.

Went to Mo Market...easy access and mobilit throughout. Lot's of food vendors but we ate in Sassafrass which was not crowded and very good

Whoever buys for this shop has some good taste! Garden Gate Shop is an excellent place to buy unusual house plants. There's stuff for the kiddos, adult sized clothing, gifts, jewelry, gardening tools, dichroic glass baubles, garden deco, and a rather nice selection of quality wind chimes. Garden Gate is easily one if the finest places around to by books about gardening and plants. I miss the once much larger library section, but let's face it ... people don't read as much as they should. There is a 10% discount for MOBOT members, so this is the place to get seed packets and books ... these purchases alone over the span of a year can make a membership pay for itself! Finally, don't forget to get a few bags of Koi food on your way by headed into the garden; it's much easier to buy it here than paying with quarters at the bridge Koi food dispensers.
