Smitty's Grille

1st time customer last night and the food was delicious. Will return. I shared "the barge" with my wife and friend, and it fed all 3 of us comfortably. The snow crab, mussels, oysters, clams, shrimp, and scallops were steamed perfectly. Nothing is overcooked, which seems to be a rare find nowadays with seafood. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Don't go with large parties because most of the seating is bar seating.

What did I like? Just about everything. Polite & prompt table service - JUST THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.

Had Crab 🦀 Dip for the appetizer & very tasty. Also tried draft - local beers on tap.

Scallops- blackened w pasta was great. And the scallops on skewers with side of street corn - very good. The street corn had a lot of crema on it, not for me, but glad I tried it.

And - yes the do dads hanging from the ceiling & pictures on the walls was very nice.

A friend recommended Smitty’s Grille to me and I’m so glad she did! My group shared a few appetizers. All were delicious but the pork belly bites special was A+++. As for the main course I had the Tugboat (seafood sampler) which I highly recommend was awesome, and my wife had one of the seafood pasta dishes that she couldn’t stop raving about! As amazing as the food was, the service was just as good or better. Thank you!

Never heard of it and was super glad I tried it out! Lawd, crab stuffed flounder was the BOMB! Tried crab dip as guy beside of me offered it up (after he saw my drool)...amazing food! Invited friend and she also had crab dip with toast points! Yup, will be going back! Brought the ocean to the shore! Fresh seafood and other foods were going down pretty fast with no complaints. Love Kernersville!

My boyfriend decided to try Smitty's again. The food and Alagash White on tap is great. The best part of our experience this evening was our server Peyton. She is one of the best servers ever. Thanks to her for making our Friday so awesome! She is AMAZING! We will be back!

Great hang out!! Seafood was perfectly prepared. Carly made the best cocktails.Lane was very attentive to us throughout the evening. Will go back!!

We were very glad we spent our Friday dinner here! The staff is very friendly and the food was great! I've been to many restaurants in Florida where food is great but service was horrible that it did not make me want to come back. The service makes a huge difference for me!!

Delicious food! Some variety of draft beer. Deep River Russian Imperial Stout hit the spot! The Blackened Scallop pasta was phenomenal!

Talk about GREAT seafood, atmosphere & service! Payton was a phenomenal server who any table would be lucky to have. Crab legs, shrimp, scallops & shrimp tacos were cooked to perfection. We will most definitely be back!!

Pretty picky with my drinks so definitely one of the best Margaritas I had. We always have oysters and drinks here almost every after our closing shift in Verizon ☺ The manager is very nice to not charge us for our oyster order one time because they made a little mistake which is very understandable and no big deal at all but we’re so happy! ❤ Will definitely recommend because food and drinks are great, staff are very attentive & friendly. Owner should keep his manager, he’s very hardworking & professional. Try their grilled Salmon w/ broccoli & asparagus!! 😍

This bar is awesome! It's designed to sit with strangers, it's such a nice experience and the waitresses are the best so far, greetings to Payton such a funny person!

Some of the absolute freshest food around! Bartender was amazing and fixed up a special drink that i will return for!

So good! Could've used a little more seasoning in the batter. Fried oysters were amazing!

I was excited to try some real fish dishes in Kernersville, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. I got the calamari for an appetizer and it was good. But my fish tacos were amazing!

Next time I plan on trying something with crab, as my mom's crab dish looked good and she seemed to like it.

Smitty's is the perfect diamond in the rough. Tucked away in a little shopping center, the food is outstanding, fresh and very tasty.

Went early and food and service were both excellent. Weather was lovely, so we ate outside. A friend who was in our group said he'd gone there before, later in the day, and the ambiance was not as good as it was colder, thus they ate inside, and it was crowded and loud...not as good for table conversations. I had the garlic shrimp and a house salad, and both were very good.

Great place to eat an have some good conversation. Payton & Gorgeous were really helpful an funny. Thank you girls!
