We absolutely love this farm. Although we’ve visited here plenty of times previously this was our first year at the jack-o-lantern trail. It was so much fun! I was thoroughly impressed! It’s worth every penny, do not hesitate visiting this farm!

Absolutely can't say enough about this place, we loved every minute here! ❤ This farm has everything from pig races to hay rides. My favorite of course was the goats 🐐. I also found a hidden gem here, my petite concrete bench! Yes! They have outdoor garden varieties for your home too. You must come check this place out, something for everyone here. An added bonus real bathrooms no dons John's here, lol.

We had a great time! There are so many things to do and see! From large tractors to play on, to all the farm animals you can imagine, this place has a lot to offer! Plenty of room to sit and grab a bite! The hot dogs were so good! Such a great place to bring the whole family!

Awesome large farm. Had a kid party there. Very family friendly farm. Well organized and lots of farm animals to see and feed. The staff were amazing. There are free hay rides and a pumpkin patch too. The birthday party was under a tent. Very clean farm and a lot of birthday parties going on under several tents. The restrooms were very nice and clean. A lot of hand washing stations call around the farm as well. This place is a gem of Frederick located right on Rt. 80 near Prices Distillery Rd. next to Urbana. The address states the farm is located in Ijamesville. GPS takes you right to the farm. Parking is in a grass field right off of Rt. 80. Getting around in a wheelchair may be a little difficult but I'm sure if you call the farm they could accommodate you. Their website has a lot of helpful information on a lot of questions one may have.

Great venue! We had our wedding there Nov 5, 2022.

Ken, Laurie and their team were amazing. They made things go smoothly!
They don’t have a set catering list which was nice. We were able to choose whomever we wanted. We also were able to provide our own alcohol, as long as you have a licensed bartender!
Anytime I had a question they were quick to get back to me.

We only used the reception part of the venue but still rented the bridal suite. It was great because it gave us a place to settle down before the reception started.

The venue had a bar stand which was very convenient. Ken even let us rent a container where we were able to put ice / drinks in. (Pic added)

We rented the fire pits as well. They were smaller than I thought, but it was nice for our friends that wanted to hang out over there.

The inside of the venue is so beautiful we didn’t even need to decorate much!

The venue fits up to 200 guests!

We just had our wedding here and it was a blast. Ken and Lauren were amazing hosts, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The venue is beautiful and a fun time for everyone. The petting Zoo during the cocktail hour was loved by all of our guests and we cannot wait to go back to visit! Thank you!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and super kid friendly. Take advantage of their Friday evening Barnyard Band and Booze events! Super fun, byob and food (or patronize one of the brewery/winery/food truck options). Plenty of shade/tents/picnic tables and plenty of space to accommodate a lot of people and not feel crowded. Highly recommend.

My husband and I are in our 20s and we had a BLAST!! We loved watching all the animals and even got to pet some of them! My first time seeing a kangaroo, llama, and an emu! That was sooo cool! I am definitely going back again!! Very family friendly and people of all age can enjoy it! The pig race was AWESOME!! 😁🐖🦘🦙🐐🐓🦃🦚🐴🐄 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I used the MD location as a wedding venue. It’s very reasonably priced. It’s worth upgrading to allow your guests to explore the farm and farm animals. Ken and Lauren were very friendly and helpful. I appreciate their attention to detail. I was grateful they allowed us to bring our own caterer. They also allowed us to decorate the night before. Ken is extremely flexible. You can rent farm flowers from Lauren for a low price which would make beautiful centerpieces. There are large wine barrels which make for stylish decorations. The barn is beautifully decorated so we needed minimal decorations. We used the bridal suite to get ready and were given the opportunity to take our time getting ready. The venue is spacious and open; it doesn’t have that “farm smell”. My guests were truly thrilled about the opportunity to explore the farm and pet the farm animals.

We just had our wedding here and I can’t say enough good things about this place! First of all, Ken the owner is the best! He made the whole process so easy! When I have more pictures from the photographer I’ll add those as well. But we did the petting farm “cocktail hour” and everyone loved it! All the adults AND kids loved it! The barn comes with some decor already and they’ll provide picnic tables for seating!
I know they don’t just do weddings, they host baby showers and other events as well. Definitely recommend reaching out! Everyone here was amazing and easy to work with! I can’t recommend them enough!!

Great place for children and animal lovers of all ages. There is a wide variety of animals, from pigs and goats to a bison and wallaby! Fall activities include a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and kid-friendly games. A bit pricey for a petting farm, but the facility is well-maintained, the animals appear well cared for and staff seem devoted and eager to share information with visitors. Highly recommend this place.

We came here for the Trail of Lanterns and we liked it a lot. Our kid liked the barn animals. There were baby pigs, a day old chick, a lama, a bunny, big bull, turtles and other animals.

I love that Green Meadows allows the kids to get up close and personal the animals. Having been raised on a farm, I love that my kids can see various types of poultry wandering the yard, and see the true scale of a Brahma - experiences that are hard to come by in the DC Metro area.

Best part: Once you pay admission, the only thing you pay for is gifts and snacks. My family and I bring a picnic lunch + snacks.

You won't be disappointed!

Great place for younger kids. However most kids rather play then see the animals so be prepared for that. They have horses, goats, chickens, peacocks, Emu's, turtles, bunnies etc.

Great place! Definitely worth the trip. We went to a birthday party with a bunch of small children and the staff was just great. Lots of animals that the kids (and adults!) could closely and safely interact with. Best petting farm experience I ever had.

Wonderful little petting farm. The farm sits on acres. All the animals look healthy and happy. Chickens and piglets roam free. The pens are as clean as pens can be. There are pig races, a hayride, and cow milking that you must checkout if you visit. I took for 11-13 year olds and we were there for over three hours. They enjoyed being about to get so close to the animals. We look forward to going back!

We had my daughter's birthday party at Green Meadows earlier in the year while it was still cold, and had the indoor party at the stable with a trip to the animal barn. It was amazing! The stable is beautiful and the kids were able to run around and have fun. And everyone enjoyed the ~1 hour trip to the animal barn to spend time petting the farm animals.

Whole family enjoyed this place. We went during the day and enjoyed petting all the animals. Came back in the evening for their trick or treat trail. 100% recommend buying combo tickets during the day if you plan to return for a different event in the evening. When we came back, there was a huge line, but we cut right in since we already had tickets. I felt bad for all the kids in their costumes waiting in line and possibly not getting in on time for the trick or treat event.
