Beachwood Park

Small, wooded park with multiple walking paths, all leading to a beautiful river. Great place for an amateur hiker like myself. I will definitely return to sit by the water. Bonus, best kept port o potty I've seen in my whole life.

This place is so beautiful that I'd like to keep it hidden! So ... don't go! LoL

A nice place for a quick hike and a relaxing place to decompress while overlooking the Magothy River.

Nice and peaceful although it was still chilly, I imagine the park will gather more people for picnics, parties and fun. Very clean and well kept.

This is a great place to watch the wild life or go walk the trails or bring your kiak and paddle the river or just fish

Perfect place. If you bring trash please take your trash whit you. And is many trash cans around. If you try to fried some fish. Bring a small propane stove. Not fired 🔥🚒 in the ground guys. Can make a bad fire in the summer time. Leaf make easy spread

Do you part and do fishing under license and rules. make your life less stressed.
You will get a ticket.
Remember this is everybody park but is a neighborhood. So respect overall.

Lovely, little park! A great place to peacefully walk or sit by the water. Also a few, small places where you might see people fishing. Steps down to the water are really mangled, jagged, uneven, and not consistently firmly placed- so do be careful as you step down. There are also pretty flat paths to walk through trees if you'd like.

Good place to go fishing in the early spring. Good summertime sunsets.

Great place for hikes in between the woods.

I went there to fish. The park was clean even had a port a pot. You have to go down several steps to get to the water. It was hard for me I have health issues. Water was very clean. There was three other people there . Just one white perch caught. I have fished there since I was young. Great Spot. I lost a good popping cork there. Great place to fish our take the family. I believe they have a spot to unload kayaks.

Very nice quiet fishing spot.

Nice wooded path to walk the dog on. Great for hot summer days since there is ample shade. There is a canoe/kayak launch as well, but you'll need to carry them in. Hidden gem!

Been fishing here since I was a youngster. The fishing isn’t as good as years back but if you get here at the right time you should do well with yellow and white perch and a few pickle mixed in ,And remember to always clean up after yourself

If you find any logs with wax covered plugs in them, I have seeded a few logs with oyster mushrooms that were harvested wildly from beachwood park. Please leave the logs lay in place. However, if they have mushrooms on them, named oyster mushrooms, feel free to harvest and enjoy at home. If you are unfamiliar with mushrooms, never eat wild mushrooms without knowing what they are first.

What a great spot to put in on the Magothy. The Magothy is such a beautiful river, with so much to explore. Parking lot is small, but I came on a pretty empty day

I love this place! We go kayaking weekly during the warmer months. It’s always minimally crowded

Lovely view to get away from it all on the water. I've also seen some fishing off small
shore of about 200 feet.

Great place to fish in the spring. Park is well kept with restroom and trails.

Quiet little.park we like to.go fishing at. Heard it used to be a carnival area at one point in time!

Magothy River waterfront. Clean, serene, never crowded, free admission, natural state- no amenities except parking and cleaning

Natural AA counry park. Good for fishing. Good for walking the trail and looking at the water
