Madchef at 59th

Literally..Mad Chef. I thought I’m just getting a burger, but this is another level of burger, resteraunt style. I think they have their own special sauce. Every bite have every flavor. Caramelize onion, special sauce, and a but of bbq flavor. :)

The first time I visited here I had the cheese fries with fried shrimp. My daughter had the seafood pasta. The food was very good and fresh. Then we had 2 for 1 drinks. Of course I been back two times after that and had the Bourbon burger with fries. Mouth watering not to mention the atmosphere is very peaceful.

Stop what ur doing and come here. The food is DIVINE.
There's a party in my mouth and everyone knows how to dance. It feels like my tounge went through some thangs and came out a better person for it.
The seasoning on all the food is like the sweetest black grandma that will shake you to your core if you do something wrong, but give you all the love and encouragement when you're right.
No joke, I could drink the teriyaki sauce with a straw, and the bourbon sauce went amazingly well with the steak.

Im serious, stop what you're doing and come here.

Fast Quality service. #blackowned and will be back. I ordered the Louisiana Catfish with jambalaya and ceasar salad. Definitely make sure to add there seasons as well.

The Salmond was awesome. I especially enjoyed the seafood pasta that comes with it. The best pasta I've ever had. The hot wings and burger were absolutely delicious. The service is very slow, but is well worth the wait! I love the atmosphere. The couches and TVs really make you feel at home. Comfortable and cozy.

This was our first time eating here and the food was great. We dined in and ordered to go as well.. my new favorite spot!.Everything was good, seasoned and the service was just good.

Incredible food. Drove 6 hours to Louisiana for a basketball game, but would drive 6 hours just to eat here. Highly recommend!

Food was good although we didn't order much. We came in search of bbq. This was open not the bbq joint. I like the decor, music and customer service. I love seafood but my hubby does not otherwise I would really "eaten eaten" here

Hey the food was so good here, it was absolutely worth skipping breakfast to have this meal. This picture isn't mine but I ended up getting the exact same thing Thai chili salmon, broccoli, and cheesy potatoes. Everything my entire party ate was delicious.

I would highly recommend!! Love the food here. Shay is a great server/cashier. This was the first time I ordered and my food was wrong. The cooked mixed my cousin and my order up. Told the server she reorder my food. Food came I never checked it(myfault) i just left and went home and then check my order and it was wrong again. Tried calling but they were closed. I will patronize again because the food is very flavorful and sometimes a person can become overwhelmed in the kitchen and mistakes happen. This wasn’t my first time visiting and it surely won’t be my last.

I finally had a chance to have lunch at Mad Chef & it has definitely exceeded my expectations! I've always heard great things about this restaurant so I had to check it out for myself. The food was beyond amazing! The drinks were great! The atmosphere was real cozy, clean, & comfortable & the staff was very friendly. They now have a new customer. I'll definitely be back!

I have been here twice now and I can't say enough how great the burgers are. I got the BBQ Rodeo Burger. Freshly made, huge, and so delicious. (In my opinion the jalapeños make it.)

The service is very friendly and attentive. The place has a night club feel to it but it works well.

Food here is great. The happy hour drink and food specials are delicious. The low down 59th is their version of the whiskey sour and smooth yet gets you right. Fries and wings are on point and the ambiance was spot on with TVs everywhere. I highly recommend this 👌🏽 this spot if you are in the East or near Bullard.

We came in town from NC to visit this restaurant, and i must say the food is EXCELLENT!!! We tried several things the salmon, sirloin, lobster tail, grilled/fried shrimp, waffle, grits and eggs. The bourbon sauce is amazing!!! The owner and his son Van had great customer service. Van is a great young man with big dreams. He plans to become a doctor and will be heading off to college this fall. It felt like family on the restaurant talking with everyone, drinking mimosas and eating that WONDERFUL FOOD!!! This is definitely a place to visit when in NOLA!!! I can’t wait to go back!!! The chef sells his own special seasoning which i also purchased!!!! Check them out and be prepared to be more than satisfied

The Madchef cocktail............. Never had a mixed drink so good anywhere in the USA. They use real liquor...not that cheap happy hour stuff.😎

I ordered the seafood pasta with fried catfish and broccoli. The food was soo good I forgot to take a picture, ill have to update my review on my next visit with pictures. Mad chef cooks their food so expect a wait time it's not pre-cooked. I paid about $20 which for some ppl is high but I don't mind spending my money on great food and Mad Chef delivers every time. One problem is that the restaurant is located in a dead strip mall location. So there are barely any people there or at least when I visited. Chef gon mad is not for everyone
