Great experience. Had to get a crown and a filling replaced. I usually have high anxiety when I go to the dentist. But they made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Dr K was very gentle with me. Hardly any pain.

The front desk takes excellent care of insurance. Most important Karen takes outstanding care of my teeth. No one likes going to the dentist but if you go have the best work done in her chair. This is the best care I have had in all my years. Karen is someone that cares about her patients and the condition of their mouth and teeth. If you like eating see Karen.

Dr. Krishingner is great! He is the first dentist I've ever had that is truly painless. I received 2 shots in my mouth and never felt one. Continuously concerned with my comfort as well as great dental work.

Dec 2022 I recently needed to have a tooth extracted and replaced because of a dead root that gave me incredible pain. After considerable searching, I found that most of the dentists within 25 miles of my home refused to do oral surgery. I found Tryon Family Dentistry from the recommendation of my neighbor who used Dr. Krishinger for routine dental service as well as specialty needs. I was impressed from the very first time I walked into the office. I thank my lucky stars that I found a dentist that is not a part of a chain. Tryon Family Dentistry is a first class, top of the line, individually owned dental practice with a caring and knowledgeable staff. The office has special needs equipment comparable to the big chains, and the staff is superior in attitude, knowledge and experience. Although they are out of network for my insurance, their prices are comparable to what I would have to pay out of pocket after insurance. The experience was well worth the slightly higher price I would have to pay anyway, plus I can submit the bill to insurance and get reimbursed for most of the cost. Dr. Krishinger personally did the work which of consisted of the extraction, a return trip for the implant of a post, and another trip for a crown. I have had other extractions and replacements; this experience was far and above the best experience for usually unpleasant difficult dental work. Doctor Krishinger was gentle, and even though the procedure was difficult, I was comfortable. Compared to what I had experienced with previous dentists for similar procedures, the pain during and after surgery was minimal. He spent a lot of time with me in advance explaining what he was going to, and during the procedure he explained what he was doing as he progressed. I felt I was safe and in good hands. I highly recommend this dental practice for all types of dental work and Dr. Krishinger is competent to handle even the most difficult dental problems. Ira Karet, Tryon

I have known Dr K for numerous years professionally in the dental field. I recently found out I needed his dental expertise, with my daughter who needed a tooth pulled. It was recommended to me that we should consider seeing a specialist and I spent significant time calling around everyone was booked up, would require multiple trips and the fees were quite high. Meanwhile, my daughter was in pain, we needed to do something right away. I ran my scenario by him and he told me he could absolutely do the work. He fit us in to his busy schedule, pulled the tooth painlessly with ease and care of an expert dentist. It was an absolutely fantastic patient experience, he handled the whole ordeal with class, confidence and outstanding bedside manner . He even checked in with us after the procedure, this is a lost art of times past. Office is super clean and everyone was friendly. If you are within driving distance and need to see a dentist, this is where you need to go. Highly recommend without reservation.

I’ve been coming here for a few years. They always take such good care of me. Very hospitable with blankets and making sure I’m ok the entire time. Very reassuring with every procedure and thorough with their treatment plans.

Monday I had my first visit to Tryon Family Dentistry and it was a great experience. Cute office and easy to get to location in downtown Tryon. Michelle greeted me as I entered and was very friendly and efficient. Dr Planer was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She spent plenty of time with me. Same wtih Amanda who cleaned my teeth. Very thorough and gentle. She explained things I could do to improve my oral cleaning routine, but also gave me positive feedback. Based on my experience during this visit, I highly recommend Tryon Family Dentistry

I was in and out so fast with a pleasant experience and no extra fees or charges. I think this was probably my best dental experience ever and I have had lots of work done. 5 out of 5 will recommend to everyone!

Outstanding experience with Dr. Planer and staff! So gentle - I was in the chair about an hour and a half and never experienced any discomfort or anxiety due to the patience and great care I received. Highly recommend!

Shame on this dentist's office for not verifying coverage, and for forcing the expense of their mistake on me. Do yourself a favor, and send your business elsewhere.

Haven't had the best teeth health, I've always struggled with going to the dentist. Went to have a cleaning and they made me feel very unwanted. Will not be going back. You guys are supposed to help people, not put them down for their situation. Will never be supporting Noble again. This review doesn't reflect Planer, have never been with him.
