I love it. Took lots of pictures.

If you enjoy fishing, you can do that at this park, besides walking the well paved paths.

It's my favorite place. So peaceful. The best sunsets. Small but well maintained. The rangers are always so nice too. They are prompt when closing.

I didn't realize what a nice little spot it is. Fishing & a restaurant on 1 side. A beach to swim at on the other side. Beautiful

A small park open dawn 'til dusk with a small visitor's center open Friday-Monday (with exceptions). While it was once open 24 hours, the fishing pier now operates during the same hours as the park itself. During the months of April-September, the pier is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays until 10:00pm. It is a small park, so if it is really nice outside don't be surprised if the parking lot is full (although there is overflow parking at the WWII Memorial just up the hill).

The visitor's center is also one of the offices and the headquarters for Anne Arundel County Trails, and the Trails Rangers stop in throughout the day to check up on the place and enforce the rules.

The park is typically open for fishing and general recreation. You can picnic pretty much anywhere, but grilling is only allowed near the beach. Open campfires are never allowed. The beach can also be used for car-top boat launch (canoes, kayaks, paddle boards) but trailers are not allowed in the park.

Public restrooms in the Visitor's Center are typically open whenever the park is.

Swimming is NOT allowed because the Severn River gets very deep and can have a very strong current, and there are no lifeguards. However, wading in up to your knees is typically left alone.

Overall a great place for a picnic, fishing, some photos, launching a kayak, or to see a good view of the sunset over the Naval Academy.

Love this park, One of my favorite spots for photography, always a great time, nice view and clean beach area. The park rangers are always friendly.

I dropped my daughter at NAVY academy and happened to turn into this gem of a little park. The views are stunning! There were families fishing, gathering for a picnic and taking a stroll along the path. We didn't stop, but there is also a beach nearby. Really nice spot.

Quiet and pretty park. A few grills to use if you bring Charcoal. Views are great and there are several picnic tables. There are two porta-potties not sure what kind of shape they are in. It was a bit muddy when I was here but looks like there are a few nice trails to walk and explore under the bridge and around the water. There were some people fishing-not sure if this is allowed. Looks like there is a small beach area for swimming too.

Super beautiful park that has a path to the old bridge (the leftovers from before the Naval Academy Bridge). The park has a beautiful view of the Severn River between the Navel Academy Bridge and up until the Route 50 bridge. Many people come here to fish and kayak. You can also fish off the portion of the old bridge that they left there. There are public restrooms and a baller wood carved statue of a heron.

What can I tell you about Jonas and Anne Green Park? Great place for anybody who loves being outside. There are benches for those who want to relax and watch the afternoon sunsets over the Severn. There is a small beach area to enjoy feeling the sand at your feet. There is a fishing pier to cast a line or two. For runners (or cyclists) like myself it is great starting point for your challenging weekly runs (rides) over the Naval Academy bridge and into downtown Annapolis. There is a small kayak rental booth though I've not checked it out YET! The park is managed by MD Park Service Resources and there is a manned facility during normal business hours as well as clean restrooms.

What a little gem!! There’s a beach area, but it’s marked you’re not allowed to swim- even though many were doing it. Lots of people fishing from under the bridge and even more families cooking out and enjoying the sunny afternoon.

Beautiful views from here! You can see the Annapolis and the bay. The US Naval Academy and the State Capitol are visible as well. There is fishing pier and a park here

Beautiful very small park with great views. Nice when it is not crowded. Few picnic tables. Right beside the bridge. More of a place to meditate than to play. Small beach. No playground.

I was pleasantly surprised. They may soon need a bigger parking lot.

It's a small park on the edge of the Severn River. In terms of size, you can walk around the entire park in less than 10 minutes. It's a great place to get a view of the water. There's also a large pier where you'll see people fishing as well.

This place is my childhood - my sister and I played here every weekend. They have done an amazingly beautiful job in restoring and maintaining its beauty. I love it here and come back to it as often as I can when I'm in MD.

During the weekdays, the park is a nice place to kick back and enjoy the solitude of the Severn River. You can even throw a line in the water in many cases, catch a fish or two. A good place to sit back and get your thoughts together. I've enjoyed the park since my days serving reserve duty in the late 60s.

Thank you Engineering Corp for building this space for all the public to enjoy! It's nice that some still respect all public property instead of just reserving it for the supposed upper class or "monied elite." This place is protected and tended to and it shows off the beauty of where the River and Bay meets.

Clean park. Great place to crab/fish. Benches to sit down on and enjoy the water view. Close to home.
