Joe W. Brown Park

One of my favorite parks in New Orleans! For the holiday season, they currently have a drive-through light display, as well as carriage rides on Saturdays. I enjoy using the archery range on Thursdays (you have to book a spot ahead of time) and they offer Tennis on weekends (again, you have to book a spot). During the summer they also have free fishing and canoeing/kayaking. The walking path and track are both great, as are the various exercise classes and rec center.

It's been a while since I was here for an exercise class. Decided to get back in the groove of things, and the experience was definitely delightful 😊. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly and generous. Classes on Monday and Wednesdays. This time, I'm going on a steady schedule.

At this park you can swim, fish, work out, walk the trail, & even kids have their personal area! There's a field for football games, soccer, & basketball! I caught rainbow perch while fishing there!

Joe Brown Park is a wonderful resource in New Orleans east. There are so many facilities available like a running track, a stadium, a recreation center, and a public pool. The park is maintained beautifully and is one of the most wonderful public resources available in the east!

And absolutely beautiful park with all the amenities that you need! The walking trails are beautiful and well-kept. Extremely clean bathrooms, and all areas of the park removed. We visited the park several times while staying in New Orleans. If you’re looking for sports events, looking to exercise, or just want a leisurely walk, a day of kayaking or fishing, then this is the place.

My experience at Joe W. Brown Park was an amazing experience I go there almost everyday they have really fun activities you can indulge in every week or so I go to Archery every Thursday it is a very fun stress relieving activity I love to participate in ... You can come and fish there 🎣 it's a great place to bring the kids to have a family pick nick there are multiple playgrounds for the kiddos and it is very safe and clean there I would 10/10 recommend you to visit Joe W. Brown Park

Walking the walking trail and also water Aerobics. I enjoyed myself, the work out was intense but we had fun!!! Loved It!!

The park is beautiful. Equipped to handle a variety of sports from tennis football soccer baseball track and field and football. There are sheltered and open picnic areas. There is also an indoor pool. Restrooms were clean and available. Lovely park.

Beautiful park clean a kids playground are well kept. Fishing and boating, bike and walking trails. Tennis courts, baseball cage. Football field. Indoor basketball vourt and pool.

I went there at 6:40 a.m. and it was nice and cool little breeze blowing. And you have to feel the safety of the park being as in a police station is right there beside it.

Good morning everyone, Joe W. Brown Park is a very exciting place. Once or twice a week maybe, I use this area for my own recreational purposes. Jogging, working out at the athletic station and so forth. The scenery is also an attraction because there are so many different sections to enjoy. Be Blessed everyone.

I would also like to Congratulate the dream team that helps contribute to the cause of keeping the park nice and neat during the week. Presentation is based on a first impression, this however, determines the magnitude of people who will actually be interested in the participation of park activities. Glory be to God.
