Reynolds Tavern and 1747 Pub

The place was lovely. We were not rushed. Seeing how we had 2 younger children 5 & 8, the staff was very helpful in suggesting tea and food for them. The only problem was not theirs. Parking is a walk away, but both handicap persons were able to dropped off close enough to easily walk in.

My baby shower was held here in a private room with 15 people. It was a wonderful setting and the staff were all very kind. It was a lovely venue. The only downside is they do not have a parking lot but there are city garages and lots close by.

I've had afternoon tea twice at Reynolds Tavern and both times have been lovely. They have a wide selection of teas to choose from and the food that comes with is delicious. The savory tarts and the scones really stood out. Service was attentive, but not overbearing.

We had a wonderful experience getting afternoon tea here. The service was excellent and the tea was delicious! 10/10 would recommend. I also recommend the lobster bisque.

Absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere, the food was to die for. Their French onion soup is the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. I also had their crepe pasta and tried their shrimp pasta with corn, and both were so great! 10/10 recommend!

High tea rocked! Don't mess with the fancy pretend (herbal/fruit) teas and get a pot of PGTips ( not so easy to come by in the US). Superb. And the cakes and sandwiches were also excellent.

Went here for high tea and was not disappointed in the slightest! It had lovely sandwiches and savory torts, a variety of flavors of scones to select from, and so many little desserts I thought I was in a bakery! This tea will fill you up as a proper lunch!

If you're still not convinced you can add soup, quiche, cheese platter, all manner of eats to the tea for a very reasonable additional cost! I got the cheese platter with mine and oh boy my stomache took much convincing to finish the last desserts!

The selection of tea itself was also wonderful. I got a loose leaf Darjeeling that I loved!

I would highly recommend this for any one that loves high tea!

The beer garden is nestled right behind Reynolds tavern. Lots of seating, lots of shade and great service. Despite what one of the signs say, seat yourself. There was a nice light breeze. They had a good selection of draft beers. The food selection was great and reasonably priced. You can also order a full teapot if you like tea and the inside tea room seating is full. Many years ago we had stayed in the bed and breakfast here at Reynolds and it was fantastic. This time we just enjoyed the beer garden.

A special travel experience in historic Annapolis. Reynolds Tavern hospitality is exceptional and staff attention to detail ensures a broadly satisfying guest-centered experience. Breakfast for overnight guests is delicious!

This is definitely a dainty place to go. Outside seating with live music, Ask for Omar and he will certainly take excellent care of you and put an immediate smile on your face. It's a little expensive for my taste, but, they have a frito pie on the menu---who can argue with that.

What a wonderful experience my group had here! Very attentive staff, massive variety of teas (which were all great), great pastries/crab soup, extremely well priced, and to top it off, a very cute aesthetic. I live in DC and would gladly drive an hour to come back here!

Highly recommended! Wes is a great owner who ensures all guests are treated with the absolute best service. While there, be sure to have some afternoon tea... it keeps us coming back 20+ years later.

Service is always a bit slow here, but sit back relax and enjoy your company, the atmosphere and eventually the food. Everything is always delicious. They have a large tea menu, but just lemon will always be my favorite. You can buy a tin of looseleaf tea to take home. Reynolds tavern afternoon high tea has been my favorite for the past 11 years and I can't see that changing!

Cool 18th century restaurant. High tea upstairs, need reservations, and dark cavern downstairs with same food and a bar.

The nicest area of the pub is the room with the working fireplace...old 1700's kitchen. Best bangers and mash, hands down!

My friend and I came for high tea in Late February, 2023. The service was terrific! We both had the savory style "plate". The servings were generous and everything was delicious! There was a very nice selection of teas as well! Neither of us had ever been to the Reynold's Tavern, but both of us were very pleased. We will be back, for sure! Thank you to all the staff who helped make our afternoon delightful!

Fun small bar to hang out in. Bartender was a bit slow (it was not busy at all). Good selection of beer.

Stopped in for a delightful lunch. Sat on the patio which had a lot of seating available. The back patio is quite large and it was a gorgeous day! Server was incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions. We got the Reuben and the Blackened Chicken Wrap. Neither was very heavy, so perfect lunch. Good choices on the beer list as well as an extensive food menu. So many choices that all sound delicious. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Had a wonderful birthday Afternoon Tea at Reynolds Tavern. It was so charming and delicious. The French Onion Soup was awesome. The scones melted in your mouth. Will definitely be going back there again!
