Tsunami

The patio is dog friendly so it’s always nice to come here and sit outside for drinks and sushi, happy hour is from 4-6 pm on weekdays and they have a special on drafts and wine but not food unfortunately. However the prices are reasonable and the quality of the fish is very good and fresh. The fried rice is also delicious and a big portion. Throughout the summer they are doing live music on Wednesday and Saturday so the whole street is closed for outdoor seating and it’s lovely.

The teriyaki salmon blew my mind. I have never had a flavor stop me mid first bite and active a new taste buds. I can't explain how fantastic all the food here was. By far the best Sushi I have ever had in my life, let alone the single best piece of Salmon I have ever had. I live an hour away from this place and would 100% drive an hour again to eat here!!!

Reliably great food and atmosphere. Late night sushi. Great mural on the side of the building, great statement of Annapolis existence - do what you want and ask permission afterward if anyone makes a fuss.

We had a large table of 8 here for a late night dinner. Upon arrival for our reservation our table was prepared and ready for us. Our food arrived quickly and was impeccable. Our server (Audrey) was fantastic and was extremely tentative and knowledgeable about the restaurant she also had a great sense of humor! She deserves a raise! We highly recommend Tsunami for fellow sushi lovers! 5 ⭐ Highly recommend!

Excellent!! Sushi was well priced and delicious. Server and hostess were awesome. Loved the speakeasy vibe.

Atmosphere score based on me being my dad which means I am old. Place was loud but the music was awesome. Food is excellent. Try the truffle mac and cheese. Staff was freindly and very attentive. If in Annapolis stop in you won't regret it.

Our primary visits are evening hours with the bartender, Kyle.
Everybody is easy going, location is convenient not having to go deep downtown. Absolutely love it here.

Ramen was fantastic. Also, Tsunami features a wide selection of what i consider some of the best sushi in the Annapolis area. . Atmosphere is a little noisy; bar is bustling. The restaurant is clean and well run. Servers are on the ball. Drinks are expensive, but drinks are skillfully made.

I asked for specific liquors which were not available.that’s fine. The bartender suggested I go to Stan and joes(which I was going to go to but I forgot it was karaoke night).they waved at the shelf as to say this is what we have. Well it’s a particularly dark place and I couldn’t see what they had. So there was way to much back and forth and I ordered the first thing the bartender suggested.so anyway great place. Just be prepared to be profiled.hopefully they will make it more clear what they have from a liquor perspective. For a bar that tries to be anti annapolis it was a very annapolis experience. Cheers

Great atmosphere, awesome service, amazing food!
Very nice place, I took someone there for birthday dinner, we didn't have a reservation, but it wasn't long before we were seated, in the mean time we had drinks at the bar. Our server was great, the food was so good, not a bad price either. I will definitely be going back again in the future.

Everything at Tsunami is amazing Everything Their food and their atmosphere everything. Kyle at the bar. I'm a pickle fanatic. Sake pickles are favorite thing in world. I was very surprised to find out that I couldn't get a sake pickle Tini. Please add pickle tini to the drink menu.

Ordered a variety of sushi, and a plate of udon. The sushi was all good (especially the eel nigiri), but the broccoli in the udon was *perfect*. It sounds funny to rave about, but broccoli is usually not my favorite in general, so this is saying a lot!

Great spot for good food and great drinks! The sangria is always good and the flavor rotates weekly. They feature local artists so there is usually some great artwork on the walls. I would definitely recommend this place

Great late night spot. Not pretentious, good music, good prices. $4 pints of Kirin Ichiban, $2 on Sundays.

We ordered Black Garlic Duck and Vegie Shu Mai, both were amazing. Our server Megan was exceptional. We are visiting from out of state, next time we are here we will definitely be eating at Tsunami.

Great atmosphere and helpful staff. We were really impressed with the vegetarian and vegan options, as well as the sushi.

Definitely try the tofu appetizer and the Earth Day roll!

Great sushi happy hour specials. Loved the Asian fusion and variety in the rolls. Highly recommend this spot for lunch or happy hour. Plenty of street parking in the back

Best tofu I have ever had in my life. It’s easy to indulge on a budget with daily $3 pints and generous portions. The service is always warm and inviting for a place that seems too cool to care. The bar manager, josh, is very knowledgeable and an absolute delight!

Smaller portions but fairly priced for how small the portions are. Food was great. Appreciate the NA drink menu.

Great place to eat! And they have Sake in a juice box!! (Lucky Dog Sake). Great find for us!
