Purposely searched for this luxury boutique after visiting nearly 5 years ago. So glad
I found it once more! This shop has the most unique and carefully curated items. If your looking for quality and one-of-kind pieces with an owner who is deeply invested in bringing quality to her patrons…look no further than Nest!

Love this darling shop! It’s very Sheek! I came a few years back, and when returning to Avon we had to drive over so I could go to Nest again. Nancy is lovely! She even sent me a Pom Pom scarf, I just had to have after I got home.

I had the most wonderful shopping experience at Nest the other day! What a beautiful interesting merchandise mix. The owner Nancy was delightful and extremely knowledgeable. I felt no pressure or "hovering" as was noted in other reviews. I will certainly be back to this exquisite shop!

I Adore this little shop! It smells luxurious and has the most beautiful things like Jewelry, Candles, Housewares, Clothing, Bedding & More! If you are looking for a taste of Luxury and want to spoil yourself, then check out this lovely store. The owner of the shop is always so friendly and I'm going to defend her on the other reviews. You are probably Sketch if shes hovering. A small business owner has to do what they have to do in a very dishonest and often disrespectful world.

If you are looking for an eclectic shop, where every item has been hand chosen with care from around the world, then this is the store for you. The owner Nancy, took the time to explain how she choses the clothing pieces in the store and explained their backstory. These are very unique pieces that no one else you know will have, not to mention the items were made ethically. We will definitely be back.

My go to place when looking for something unique. Nest always carries so many interesting things, you can tell the owner takes a lot of pride and time to ensure she is buying one of a kind items to carry in her shop. Nest is not your average store so if you're looking for a special item for yourself, a friend or a treasured wedding gift you should check out Nest I promise you won't be disappointed.

Incredible high quality boutique, and wonderful owner! The greatest collection of CP shades clothing I have ever seen. Unique gifts, purses, scarves, hats and exquisite home decor. But back to Nancy...So sweet and gracious, even to my doggy. A fellow (former) Pittsburgher too! It’s my once a year “must do” while in OBX. Well worth the 30 minute drive from Kitty Hawk. Today was a fun and productive splurge :). See you next year Nest & Nancy!

Nancy the owner was fabulous and friendly. The store has very unique and funky pieces. Not the same lighthouse and shell gifts as in most other stores in the area! I highly recommend stopping by while in Manteo.

Lovely shop, beautiful hand crafted unique jewelry and the shop owner, I presume, was extremely helpful and told me about all the different pieces I was interested in.

Love this store. I haven' been there in a few years but I wear the pants and tops I've bought almost everyday. To the point where I have actually worn out the pants. Great service.

A bit expensive but very nice and unique things!

I just had the worst experience ever there. I came in with my family and the whole time she hovered over our shoulders making us feel very uncomfortable. My cousin was looking at a blanket and she took it out of his hands and said you don’t need to touch everything in the store and was extremely rude. Would not recommend. Too expensive anyways. Too many knives everywhere someone could’ve died. I felt attacked. Also. What even are the tiny spoons for. What am I supposed to do with them.

The shopkeeper at this store is horrible. My experience at Nest was the most unfriendly I've had in North Carolina. As I browsed the store she hovered over my shoulder creating an extremely uncomfortable shopping experience. I am very familiar with many of their products and was looking to purchase a perfume but was interrupted with an rude and unwarranted reminder to not take photos. She exudes an air of pious suspiciousness and I would not purchase anything from this shop.

Hi Nancy! It’s me. Today 2 years ago was when we first meet. Quite frankly it was a horrid experience, to be stuck in this shop of horrors, and having an ogre ripe a blanket from your very grasp!
