I needed my engagement and wedding band resized. So, I brought them both in to Grant Laughter Jewelry. The consultation I received was thorough and I was really grateful for the complete explanation of what work would be done to resize the rings. I was especially grateful that the gentlemen suggested that I might consider having them welded together. I am thrilled with the results and it only took a few days to complete. Everyone I came in contact with was kind, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely come here the next time I was looking to buy or have any repair work done.

We’ve had an excellent experience with Jimmy at Grant Laughter. He listened to what we wanted and found us our perfect engagement ring and salt-and-pepper diamond. He truly wanted us to be happy with it and we never felt pressured, and we were glad to have the benefit of his experience and advice. He got us several diamond options to choose from, and he altered the setting to fit our diamond perfectly. He emailed us an autocad file for design approval and then had a wax mock-up made for me to try on to double check the sizing and details. He worked with our schedule and had our ring ready for our big announcement shindig. We highly recommend working with him!

From Old to WHOA - Grant Laughter made me and my husband’s dreams come true!

My grandmother left me her engagement ring from the 40s when she passed away. I knew when the day came to get married I would want to incorporate it into my own ring as she had the most magical marriage to my grandfather. I had no idea how to reimagine it into the ring that felt like me but still honored her and the original design as well.
Grant went above and beyond and personally designed my engagement ring with me and my husband being respectful to the gold and diamond in the original ring but reimagining it for us and our style.
It took some time and trust and boy are we ecstatic with the results. Grant was very patient and communicative along the way and he even offered polishing in the future whenever we need. You can tell his jewelry and skills and overall service are top quality. Their prices are reasonable as well. Jimmy helped take me through a few rounds of workshopping an engagement ring until it was exactly how I wanted it. He was so affable and accommodating. I can't say enough how pleased I am at how everything turned out.

Upscale jeweler that is accommodating no matter how small the purchase. I’ve had jewelry repaired and resized here. Most recently we purchased wedding bands. The quality and customer service are excellent. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am downsizing and decided it was time to sell items of jewelry I no longer wear and a couple of pieces I inherited that are not my taste, thinking someone else would enjoy wearing them.

I did my homework—I knew I did not want to go to a big firm that has lots of overhead. I also had experience with a different jeweler that was less than satisfactory, so that person was out. I read up on Laughter Jewelers: they’re a small firm that isn’t spending its money on advertising. They don’t (appear to) have a ton of overhead. Their Web site emphasizes honesty and integrity, something I felt was missing from my experience with the previous jeweler.

I decided to go see Laughter Jewelry, and set up an appointment online for the next day.

Mr. Grant Laughter greeted me when I arrived, and when we sat down, he asked me to tell him about the items I brought. He was an attentive listener. He excused himself to do some lookups and invited me to browse the store. He also gave me a soft drink, which I appreciated.

The store is comfortable and not overwhelming. I enjoyed visiting with Barbara, an associate. She told me about various items I was looking at. And I tried on a few pieces for fun. After about 20 minutes, Mr. Laughter called me to a seat and we talked about what he could buy from me and what he couldn’t. Listen up, this next part is important: I felt Mr. Laughter treated me fairly. There were two necklaces he couldn’t buy, and he explained why. He explained why he priced my other items as he did to purchase them.

I understand that a consumer like me should not expect to sell a piece for the same price I paid for it, so I was not disappointed with Mr. Laughter’s purchase offers. As I said, I felt he was fair.

The atmosphere in the store is professional and elegant without being pretentious. The In stock selection is superb, but if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, they are more than happy to design and create whatever masterpiece your mind can imagine. Something else that I noticed and appreciated was the fact that pricing is clearly marked on most items. They are very upfront and transparent with no games, something I very much appreciate.

I first went in the store not knowing a soul. So far, I have dealt with Jimmy, Alex, Lawrence, and Grant Laughter himself. They have all been fantastic to deal with. Fantastic!! Definitely the best customer service I have had in a very long time. I went in 2 hours before closing with 3 older watches that needed batteries. They were very busy and said it would be a Tuesday pickup (holiday weekend). When I explained I was my Mom's only ride and was headed out before that, he said he would make it work. I came back 2 hours later. The watches were not only ready to go but had been cleaned and polished for my Mom!
