Great auto repair shop. Bruce and Allen are friendly, knowledgeable, and productive. I’ve taken both of my Hondas to Bruce for different issues and they diagnosed the issues, scheduled the repairs, and completed them quickly and at a reasonable price. The kind of service and value that you’d hope to get, but can seem hard to find, these guys deliver.

These guys have taken care of mine and my Wife's cars for years, and so far, so good. Good prices and good people. They're definitely looking to stay in the customer car business for the loooooong haul. Highly recommended. Bruce will take care of you.

Bruce and Allen always get the job done. They are also a lot quicker in fixing your vehicle. They are cheaper than most garages, but do quality work. I would highly recommend Bruce's Automotive for your car repairs.

These guys are great!! I went in because my brakes felt not-right. They bled them -- no improvement. They said my master cylinder might be bad. It was completely shot. They installed a top-quality new one and electronically bled the whole system. It feels right now. They also cleaned my battery and replaced two stripped wheel studs (damaged by NTB tire store) at no charge. Bruce and Allen are hugely knowledgable about cars and do just what they say they will, at a reasonable price. I sure do recommend them.

Stopped by Bruce's automotive had a GREAT feeling from the get, he was able to quickly and efficiently fix my wire connectors that were previously cut when I bought the vehicle. Very experienced and genuine mechanic, I highly recommend. Happy to have found a trustworthy person to work with. Other mechanics in town didn't even want to look at my problem but Bruce fixed it and was explaining what the problem was and how he fixed it.

Terrific experience and very fair pricing. I didn’t feel swindled or given any different treatment being a woman. The guys at the shop were knowledgeable polite. I highly recommend.

Brief but, excellent experience. I called to see if someone could look at my car which had started making a terrible squealing noise suddenly. He fit me in right away- the noise, of course, stopped before I showed up... He actively listened to me about the problem, then checked the brakes, wheels, and under the hood. After he took the time to listen to me look over the car and take it for a test drive with me he thought most likely a rock from my gravel road had gotten stuck and dislodged itself. He said he could not find a problem with the car and no work needed to be done. He refused to take any money for his time (I offered twice). We left and drove the car 7h to West Virginia with no problems. Excellent and kind service. Would definitely recommend.

I had a bad coolant leak leading to overheating two days before Thanksgiving. I called Bruce the next morning and he told me I could bring it in immediately. He diagnosed the problem quickly and said it would only take a few hours. He was able to fix a few other minor problems (corrosion on the battery, power steering issue) as well. The price ended up being a little lower than he quoted me and didn't try to force any other fixes on my truck (it's an old 2005 pickup). I highly recommend him to anyone and will be taking my truck back there for any other issues in the future.

My alternator went out on my way to work and Bruce took care of it and got my truck back on the road! I have found the best mechanic in NC. He is VERY honest and awesome!!! He is the one I will keep going to!!!

I took my GMC Yukon into Bruces' Automotive when travelling through the Asheville area and my SUV got stuck in 4 wheel drive. I called numerous other auto repair shops in the area and nobody would even take a look at it. Bruce said come right in and they figured it out and fixed it in a matter of hours so I could safely drive back home. Service was excellent and rates were more than reasonable. I would Highly recommend Bruce's Automotive if you are in the Asheville area.

Left a message after hours, got a call back the following morning from Bruce. Talked through the problem and did an after hours drop off that evening. Bruce called the next morning with an estimate and completed the work that afternoon under the estimated cost. Nice to deal with someone who is pleasant, a straight shooter, and does what they say they’re going to do. Outstanding.

Another great job by Bruce replacing the the rotors and pads on my old BMW to fix the front end shimmy. I take both my cars to him for his attention to detail and ability to accurately diagnose a problem. I'm reluctant to doubt someone who can build an airplane! He has solved problems that others miss, like when he found a pinhole leak in my axle and probably saved my transmission.

Bruce did a fantastic job replacing the rusted bumpers on my truck recently. I have used him several times in the past and he always does a great job, very attentive to detail, very knowledgeable. Highly recommended 👍

We highly recommend Bruce’s Automotive! My husband and I were traveling from South Carolina to Iowa with our daughter and two dogs when our water pump went out on the interstate a few miles from Hendersonville. It was mid-afternoon on a Friday, and we were pretty certain we would be stuck in North Carolina for a few days while getting the vehicle fixed. We found Bruce through a Google search, and I felt relief in the first couple of minutes of my phone call with him. He was determined to get our family back on the road that afternoon. Bruce contacted several parts distributors to locate our part. He was kind, professional, and sympathetic to our situation. He made sure we were all comfortable, even our dogs, as he replaced the water pump. Bruce is very knowledgeable, but more importantly, he truly cares about his customers. If we lived near Hendersonville, Bruce would be our go-to mechanic.

Every time I've needed service or help, Bruce and Allen have quickly dropped what ever they are doing and addressed my "problems". Honest, direct, knowlegeable, quick working and fair. I feel very good with their service and have recommended their place. Thanks, Guys!
