Table Wine deserves more than 5 stars. Incredible selection of wine in every price point, knowledgeable and friendly staff and an all around great experience. If you have not been here - you are missing out! Highly, highly recommend!

Josh, the owner, has curated an exceptional collection of wines, most are affordable. He will direct you to what you ask for, or help you find what appeals to you. Great staff as well.

If there were a six star rating I would leave that, and I am NOT an easy wine customer. I am picky when it comes to wine and spirits stores because they're often understocked or filled with weird bottles only the staff wants to buy. But Table Wine is near perfection. I LOVE this shop. Great selection of wines from all over the world. Everything from the quintessential Cali cabs to the most esoteric wines you've never even heard of but will be glad you tried. With the staff to guide you, too, without egos or pretention. They often have bottles open for tasting and brief education, as well. Peg is the BEST.

Table Wine staff has kept my cellar stocked for years and have introduced me to many delicious wines. These wines are special because they source small, family vineyards, not the grocery store or corporate models. Their scope of knowledge is expert yet they make you feel welcomed and seem so happy to help. It's nice to know that when you enjoy, serve, or gift these unique wines, you are supporting a small business that is also supporting small, family wineries. Josh and everyone at Table Wine are a delight ~ Cheers!

Best wine store ever. Josh and his crew keep track of what I like and don't like and can make recommendations for wine I am likely to enjoy... even if critics might think otherwise. The crew is informative, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The selection is great and the store communications regarding availability and "deals" is just enough to keep me informed without overwhelming my inbox. I'd highly recommend Table Wine, Josh and his entire crew!

Hands down my favorite wine shop in the area. Josh and his team are such experts and clearly love sharing their passion for and deep knowledge of wine. I often just call/email and request they put a box together from me based on my previous purchases, and I have never been disappointed. Plus, I get to try new, delicious wines I never would have thought to buy on my own. I love their tastings and the special events they did with restaurants in town (pre-Covid, not sure if these have restarted). Josh also got helped me get sparkling wine together for a celebration recently and was able to provide a delicious wine for toasting at exactly the price point I was looking for. Big love for Table Wine!!

Over the years, I have always had a “go to” wine shop, preferably owner-operated. I can say with no hesitation that Table Wine is the best by far. Josh comes out with frequent emails announcing his latest specials. They are always as promised. Exceptional selection and service. You tell them what you like and want to spend and they deliver. I have purchased a lot of wine there and NEVER been disappointed.

A real hidden gem in Asheville for wine off of Hendersonville Road! It started as a search for a Lambrusco and they had several options. What makes us come back is that the staff is just so kind and sweet, offering to help pair wine to food or just find a wine in your price point.

Table Wine is our favorite wine store in the Asheville area. We started visiting in late 2010 shortly after their opening - we read about the "Grape Nuts" and had to know more. Since then we have be loyal customers. Josh is a master at finding not just good wines that are well priced, he also has, either in the store or access to - some of the best wines to be had. I encourage you to stop by, chat with him or anyone on his team; possibly have a sip of wine - he does tastings - and enjoy some great wine and service!

First-timer this week. Wonderful, low-key atmosphere. Had a great time letting Lindsey (sp?) Pick out a good selection for me! Will definitely be back.

I reviewed this wonderful wine store back in 2010 and my opinion or one word has not changed one bit. For those wine consumers who have everything, or think they have everything, look no further then TABLE WINE on Hendersonville Road in Asheville,N.C. Table Wine is a small and unassuming store but trust me on this, well stocked with some of the best wines on this planet at very reasonable prices. The big difference in this store comes in the forms of Josh, and his staff David, Sarah and Martha who provide knowledgeable but more importantly, low key attentive service. In addition, now that the doors are open again the" Grape Nuts" related events will most certainly provide clients with not only exposure to some great wines but invaluable knowledge based on the many years of staff experience. As a wine collector and consumer of many years, and "Grape Nut", I can assure you that your visit to Table Wine will be informative, rewarding and you will experience a lasting, positive impression. I highly recommend Table Wine to anyone seeking the very best.

Josh and his staff are passionate about wine, and it is really evident when you walk in the door. What makes this place special to me, is the shear amount of variety at every price point. It's more than a bunch of big name labels. The knowledgeable staff has always been helpful, and I have always been happy with any selections involving their assistance.

Table Wine is the perfect wine shop, the place we hoped to find in Asheville after moving here from the Washington, DC area. Josh, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about wines from all areas. He tastes every wine before he brings it into the store, so that he is able to recommend wines based on a customer’s specific needs and palate. He specializes in highly rated wines at affordable prices. Josh is very good at tracking down wines for us that we have read reviews on and want to order. We highly recommend shopping at Table Wine…there’s no need to go anywhere else!

Have been a customer since they opened. Josh and all the staff are great and know their stuff. . Wine selection is pretty unique we had same great finds and have a few favorites that were it not for Table Wine would never have been on our horizon. Table Wine is a gem and makes supporting local a pleasure.
