Outstanding dive shop and charter!! I always have a wonderful time on the boat and know that diving safety protocols are being followed! Not many dive shops offer the concierge service of tank swaps during surface intervals but CBS makes sure your gear is ready for the next dive.
Furthermore, Bob and his crew go above and beyond for disabled customers! Being a handicapped diver is challenging to say the least but CBS has worked with its customers to make sure that all divers regardless of their disabilities are able to dive!!!!

Great outfit.! Super customer oriented. I am a side mount, rebreather diver, which can sometimes cause problems with companies that cater to the mass market recreational diver. The team at Carolina Beach scuba was knowledgeable and professional and super helpful! First time at the Meg ledge, and came back with a pretty decent collection.

The charter’s clean, not crowded and fast. I’m non-native English speaker, and I just got AOW certified 2 weeks before the deep water diving trip with them, but they are very patient and helpful that made me feel very comfortable in the diving trip!

This was our 1st ocean dive, and Carolina Beach Scuba took great care of my husband and me! The registration/sign up process was a little bumpy, but once we showed up at the boat everything was just perfect! Shane was our 1st mate and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable every step of the way. My husband did not fare well on the boat because it was a very choppy day on the sea, but David and Shane did everything and more to make sure he had the best possible experience. I highly recommend David and Shane! It was a bit of a murky dive to the Hyde wreck, but still amazing. We will definitely return for more dives in the future with this group!

We had an AMAZING time with this crew. Bob was fantastic at helping our youngest get certified and even though the water was freezing and fighting us you didn't give up on her and she didn't either. So thank you so much for your patience and for suffering through the terrible cold. Bob pulled out all the stops to make sure that we were able to dive together and have an AMAZING first dive. The captain and crew hand were amazing as well! I would highly recommend all of them just a fun day out on the water and a memorable day in the quarry ;)!

Excellent shop with very knowledgeable and super helpful staff. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to get certified or book dives. Not only their people are great, but also the equipment is state of the art. Safety is their 1st priority, so expect no shortcuts. I had a very safe experience when diving with them and will certainly repeat.

Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Stationed at for Bragg, I was looking for a while for a shop to dive with and these guys surpassed my expectations. Always called me to keep me posted whether conditions were going to permit to dive or not, helped me with some gear and worked with my unreliable time limit. I highly recommend this dive shop and staff.

The staff here is very helpful and friendly. They helped a friend of mine and me get all the rental gear we needed for our first dive and have awesome prices for the entire rig (snorkel, fins, weights, mask, wetsuit, BCD, air, and regulator w/ computer). I'd recommend this shop to anyone in this area of town.

Great deals on wet suits; new and used. Very friendly with great customer service. We have been trying to find a wet suit for our daughter and this shop had exactly what she needed.

I dived with Carolina Beach Scuba on June 20 & 21 to see wreck of the Hyde & then 2 dives to search for Megaladon shark teeth. I found shark teeth & whale bone fossils!
A great experience all around. Professional, organized & safety conscious crew. I used a 120 tank for first time, recommend. I had a regulator leak issue on my pre-check & they switched me out at sea with a rental so I could continue until I serviced mine. Captain David & DiveMaster Garrett were very methodical in giving best dive experience.
I usually dive in the Florida Keys, Honduras & Caymans and so happy to see the visibility & great wreck dives so close to my home in NC. I look forward to diving with them again. With 400 dives (NAUI & SDI) I can say this is a great safe & enjoyable value.

I've dived all up and down the Atlantic and this is my choice when it comes to North Carolina. Fast ,clean boat. Knowledgeable crew will make sure you have fun and you may even learn something. These guys are the pros at fossil ledge diving

Small shop, but great people! Easy to work with to get you squared away for some great scuba diving.
