The Veggie Wagon

This place is a gem, it’s hard to find healthy and gourmet places at the beach. The Vermont cheddar and smoked Gouda pimento cheese was rich and flavorful. I get a delicious cookie, crisp bread for my cheese and a dinner salad. There are a lot of appealing options in a small place. Would definitely return, and it’s a real asset to the area. I didn’t get one but the wine slushy seemed to be a hit.

First time coming here and must say I've been working on the island for the last few years and never ate here. And I regret that. My coworkers always told me it was good but I dismissed it. And I must say this is probably one of the best cold wraps I've ever had. And the sause they give you is to die for. Not to mention the cookies. I'm a huge oatmeal raisin fan and I just love these cookies. Wasn't a bad deal for what less than $13. I plan on coming more often and also try their coffee. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quality quick bite on the island, you need to come here.

So glad I stopped in here! So many local and organic options. Organic coffee, take and bake meals with good ingredients, cold pressed juices, homemade ice cream (some dairy free options with coconut milk!)

Will definitely be back for a snack/drink on the way to the beach or a quick meal when I’m headed home with no time/energy to cook dinner!

Love this place. Small but stocked with all the essentials as well as many interesting items you can't get just anywhere. They have a wine slush bar, hot chocolate bar, and an ice cream bar. Put your order in and await your fabulous treat.
Need wine or beer? They have it. Need a ready to heat fresh prepared meal, they have that too.
You can also get hot coffee and many homemade treats as well as local grown produce.
All the employees are fun and courteous as well.

We were at the beach for a short trip. Wanted to pack up on some snacks, lunch, and beverages. We heard about the veggie wagon having a great selection of all the above.

Outside is a little wagon that has veggies and fruit. But next to it is a cool little shop, that’s much bigger than you’d think. It has premade meals, drinks galore (juices, waters, sodas, coffee shop, huge beer selection, wines). They also had a small hat rack and I had to get one.

I was very impressed with this place, very cool set up!

We absolutely love TVW! It's a must for anyone visiting the island. Lots of clean eats and awesome coffee and milkshake selection. Not to mention wine slushies and warm chocolate chip and Ginger molasses cookies. Local beer on tap and large craft selection. Go!

Oh my goodness! We need more stars for this place! If you're in this area and don't stop there you are missing out! I am loving the pumpkin dark chocolate bread and the Mary's garlic rosemary crackers! I loved my mocha latte they made fresh for me! This is the kind of store that can fill up REAL fast I bet. They don't have a lot of parking and they don't have a lot of seating outside but if you catch them at the right time it is worthy. I will never come back to Carolina beach without stopping at The Veggie Wagon!!

I love the pumpkin shakes and jalapeño cheeae puffs. I wish they would keep them throughout the year. The veggie wagon is what gets me out of the house, and they have a great variety of foods great for those who have dietary restrictions and so much more. Gifts Galore too

What a cool vibe!!! Don't let the name fool you! This place has veggies and everything else that is good to eat and drink! Veggies, wine, beer on tap, coffees, food to go, deserts etc..... local foods.
The staff is centered on anticipating your needs. Nice people.

A must for any visitor to Carolina Beach! Great produce and I love their dips. Dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread is dreamy and their selection of beers can’t be beat! Highly recommend checking it out -you are bound to find something you’ll love!

A nicely appointed store from coffee to cold drinks. They sell fish and meat too. There are prepared meals, sandwiches and salads.

Great little store to get some provisions. Really good dips and they have a little bread if you want to make your own artisan lunch or charcuterie. Beer, coffee, and baked goods also available. Unique to CB so support local.

Our first stop every time we come to the island. So many delicious choices! Crab dip, pimiento cheese, fresh salads and wraps, gourmet cheeses, flatbreads, and of course, fresh produce. They pack a lot into a small space.

Need dinner, have no idea what to cook? Want healthy but tasty?

And some local beers and maybe a tasty dessert/treat to close the deal?

This place has you covered!

Meals are premade and ready to go.

They serve coffee and shakes at decent prices! Too bad they close early at 2 pm.

everything you could need, from an extensive beer and wine selection to fabulous dinners, salads, appetizers, desserts and produce. I shopped here every day during my vacation.

Wish we still.had places like this in Charlotte. My go to (several times over) when at Kure. Delicious everything a cool peeps.

More than a veggie stand. Prepared meals/desserts, amazing coffee, milkshakes and plenty more. We had multiple vegan house guests come down and they were blown away by the selection!

Love this place and can always find good food here. Also, they have good homemade dog treats, especially the doggie ice cream.

Great place to pick up some fun and different snacks, baked goods, drinks, ice cream, etc for your stay at the beach. We usually make one night on our beach trip a "dinner" from the veggie wagon. Highly recommend a stop here if your visiting Carolina beach.
