Squigley's Ice Cream & Treats

Looking for some GREAT ice cream !? This is fantastic! I had the almond joy squigley!! They start with hand dipped vanilla, added an almond Joy candy bar and run it thru their squigley machine to make it a soft serve ! Highly recommend.

Never knew they were top 10 ice cream places to try.

Just walked in while biking on the streets and they greeted and explained how their place works.

Once I placed the order it took a little while. But, the service was amazing they found me upstairs in their seating area and served it to the table.

Their gift shop is amazing with a unique collection.
My favorites are Butter pecan and Banana split.

Visited everyday while I was on vacation.

Lots of Choices. Hubby got hot fudge not Sundae. I got Squiggled because I chose a waffle bowl with 'The Jackson' flavored desert. It had pumpkin pie, cheesecake and Cinnamon Bun in a vanilla base. Soo soo good!!

The moment you walk through the door the smell is absolutely amazing, not joking you if I could bottle it I would! The ice cream was delicious and the service was fantastic! Would totally recommend to anyone looking for ice cream on the island!

This adorable ice cream shop has hard-dip ice cream or make your own ice cream with alot of flavors and toppings. They make their own waffle cones as well and that smelled yummy. The workers were so nice and they even have little baby cones! We will try them again when in the area and check out the upstairs gift shop!

This place is amazing! 🤩 it was crowded but worth the wait honestly. They had a variety of different ice creams and their very own Squigley! I had their all fruit Squigley ice cream and it was very delicious! (and no added sugar). I would highly recommend coming here when visiting Carolina Beach.

Such delicious ice cream! I had raspberry cheesecake in a waffle cone. So good! We make several visits here while in the area! A must stop place for us!

This place is a MUST when you are in the Carolina Beach area! You may have to stay in line for awhile, but it is definitely worth the wait. Great, friendly service with over 4000 combinations of treats. The hand dipped ice cream is fantastic, but you have to try a squigley blend. When you finish your treat, head upstairs to check out the gift shop. It's worth exploring for that perfect gift. Our family will be back! Oh yea, make sure to have cash with you.

The ice cream was delicious, we went around 9pm there was a long line but it moved quickly. So many choices and recommendations listed if you don’t know what to choose.

What a great ice cream 🍨 never in all my years had I been squiggled ! The woman who told us about it was sweet as a peach and it was something to brag about. I had coconut and almond with pineapple yummy my husband had cherry cheesecake with chocolate! I don't know who had the Best choice! We went up to the store upstairs and they have a great little place the man talked to my husband all about the city ,places to go where to eat and he knew so much about the history of this state he was a cute soul.I got two pairs of earrings can't wait to wear them out!

This place is amazing !!! They have such unique frozen treats. You can make any combination in their squiggle ice cream or their banana splits. Tonight I had Chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream with peanut butter topping, vanilla with hot fudge and chocolate with marshmallow.

Delicious! Best ice cream I've had in Carolina beach. Fruit flavors can overwhelm cheesecake flavor, but Oreo cheesecake is super good!

This was our first visit to Squigley's so we tried it namesake. I had a Squigley with key lime pie, cheesecake and grahams. It was delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful. We pursued the gift shop and they brought our ice fre to us when it was ready. They even gave us a sticker as first time visitors!

I have no complaints with this place! The people were very nice and it had that local, down-home vibe as well.

They have SOOO many different varieties and choices of flavors to pick from. I also like that they make their waffle cones fresh at the store.

There is a gift shop above the store as well with some unique gifts and jewelry.

Their specialty is the squiggle which I got and it was amazing! All in all a wonderful place to stop for a cool treat on a hot summer day!

The Squigley is a unique ice cream treat that you have to try. From the person taking orders and explaining to me (twice) what is a Squigley, to the person coming to find me to bring me our ice cream, the customer service was outstanding! They only take cash but have an atm on site thankfully.

Thanks to Kierran and Anna Claire, I found the smallest portion of their delicious ice cream and enjoyed the breezy upstairs area!

Always worth the drive to go here. Owners and staff are very friendly and the best ice cream around (you have to get a squiggly in a waffle cone!) We drive 2 hours out of our way on our road trip to stop here!

This was a neat place with a unique take on ice cream. It was really crowded when we went, probably around 6:30 on a Tuesday. Since the staff has to explain the options to the first time customers, the line moves a little slowly and the inside is pretty small. All that said, it's worth the wait and it's a great place. There were several locals there that we chatted with and they said they come often, so it's a popular spot even for the locals. I can see the fun in going and trying different combinations. We stayed in Kure Beach and it was an easy drive and fairly easy to park nearby.
