Montair at Somerset Hill Apartments

I am a new tenant moving in and I have been so impressed with the office staff! I have worked with Emily and Michelle. We had some computer glitches with the lease that occurred when the apartments were changing ownership. These 2 ladies never gave up trying to find the solution and had backup plans at the ready.

The property is beautiful and we are very excited to move in.

Place has gone through some management changes, but they’re good to their people and they tried to do what’s best when they can. The maintenance people are very nice and very friendly and always willing to help but they are spread thin and I wish Montier would hire more maintenance people to help as the main maintenance person needs more people as he’s only one person out of a couple others for the entire property. Been a nice place to stay at all in all and I couldn’t have picked a better first place to live.

Emily at the office is awesome. She was HUGELY helpful when went through the application process and there was some confusion to be worked out, and ever since when the occasional question or issue has come up. The maintenance staff has also been amazing. Really love the folks here!

Our view is astounding. Literally everyone in the leasing office are wonderful and friendly. Parking hasn't ever really been a problem, either (unlike the last apartment complex I lived in). Plus, they're pet friendly (bonus, everyone I've met here is friendly and lets you pet their dog)!
We've had a few issues with appliances in the now almost two years we've rented here, but maintenance is typically prompt and professional, everything gets resolved.
I really like the package lockers, too, since it means I don't have to worry about someone walking through the parking lot and just taking whatever I ordered, and you're not limited to picking up your package when the leasing office is open like other places I've rented.
All in all, I've truly enjoyed my stay here so far.

(edit) also! I forgot to say, two of the apartments that share walls/ceilings with our apartment have dogs. We know they have dogs because when we're on the balcony we can sometimes hear them. But inside our apartment, we've never been able to hear the neighbors. We're on the second floor, and we can't hear anyone when inside.

Justin with the maintenance team is amazing. I had an issue and not only did he fix it, he did it with amazing customer service. He was polite the entire time and then explained what happened and how he fixed it. So good to know that they care about their tenants.

I really enjoyed living here. Yall were very responsive to my needs.
I would also like to mention Aaron and Emily for there professional and kind manner when I needed information or helping me sort thru that darn portal. Thanks all and live well

The experience here changed incredibly when the management company changed. It was like night and day. So many things have been fixed and improved since the change and it’s great. I had maintenance come and fix clogged drains and they worked with my schedule and were so helpful and fast, Great service!

I just wanted to say thank you to Michelle for making me feel right at home when visiting the property. I’m moving from Alabama and she made sure that before I left I would consider this property my home! Thanks again Michelle!! See you in a few months :)!!

Lived here for about 6 years and the management has changed hands.
Switched apartments within the complex.
The folks in the office recently were wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and made every process very easy and smooth.
Worked with Aaron directly and he's been extremely helpful, and kind. Definitely an excellent asset to the management.
Emily has been in the office and makes a point to be helpful and kind as well.
Apartments themselves are in the process of being updated as time goes on. Started off in one of the older, smaller spaces and had to handle some typical maintenance requests over the years but that's standard for any building anywhere.
As far as the maintenance requests have gone, those guys were very friendly and efficient. They jump on anything you request and take care of it in a smooth process. Shoutout to them over the years as well. Really nice guys.

Aaron Gwyn is very awesome to work with I love them all .thank you so much Aaron for helping me.

The culture in this apartment complex is incredible. I've felt comfortable with every employee I've crossed paths with here. I recently requested maintenance for my garbage disposal, and Tristan fixed it, but the part I appreciated was his ability to be patient with me while I grilled him about how my disposal functions. He was very knowledgeable, and I learned a fair amount. Another employee is Aaron. He helped me with finalizing some paperwork for move in. He was very quick and patient since my kid was in tow. But recently, i couldn't get into the pool. I waved a golf cart down, and it was Aaron. He showed me how to use the gate and was all smiles. The energy here is so healthy, and the staff is incredible. Emily is the original person I worked with when getting into my apartment, I believe. I had some issues with paperwork, and she walked me through a secondary set of options to provide what was needed. And within the week I was in my new home. This place really is wonderful. 10/10 recommend.

Montair at sometset hill has met all of our needs! Quiet community with lovely backdrop, updated units and close to highways makes getting to work a breeze. Good internet options for my other half who works remotely is a huge plus as well as the additional work area near the office. Amazing ammenities and staff have made it all the better. Huge shout out to Aaron in the office and Justin from the maintenance team who have been integral in getting our unit up and running and responding quickly to our needs. Highly recommend these apartments if in the Olympia/Tumwater area.

Absolutely phenomenal staff that quickly respond with urgency and care. When I called to clarify details I was assisted by a man named Aaron who was extremely pleasant and helpful. Overall a very positive experience.

Michelle was absolutely amazing With showing me different floor plans and price ranges. I recommend her to anyone 5 stars! Very respectable and knowledgeable about the properties! Thank you!!!

In May, I will begin my tenth year here at Montair, where I love living for the location, amazing views, wonderfully spacious apartments, and most importantly, for the staff. I wish I could give the staff more than five stars! Everyone with whom I have interacted is amazing. The office staff are always friendly, patient and willing to answer questions or address concerns in a timely fashion.

I recently called to report a maintenance problem, and the entire experience was incredibly painless. Within a few hours, a friendly maintenance team member, Justin, was here to resolve my issue promptly and easily, with excellent communication throughout. Most importantly, he did this with the smile I always see from property staff.

Thank you all, for everything you do! It's greatly appreciated, and I certainly don't plan on going anywhere!

Never have I felt so stark a difference in quality than when new management took over Montair. Suddenly my apartment issues that have been unaddressed for months gets seen to in a day or two. I'm getting fancy key fobs and brand new pavement, the unused basketball court gets turned into an actually solid gym with a range of workout equipment. Incredibly impressed with new management, Emily in particular was very accommodating and helpful with the regular stressors that come with moving. I can't overstate the importance of that human element being a positive experience for people, and Emily exceeded that by leaps and bounds.

A friend of mine was looking to rent here at Somerset, so I helped him look into it. Aaron was able to assist me to the fullest extent possible. He was polite and seemed to know everything I was thinking. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Michelle Murrell who is our assistant property manager has been absolutely incredible through the last year of management changes we’ve had. She has been patient and understanding.Not to mention as the cost of living has gone up our community does its best to keep things reasonable. My family and I have lived at the Montair for over 6 years this has become our home. I’m so thankful to be here another year. Thank you for providing quick and efficient Maintenance service. I love those guys. Looking forward to what’s to come.
