As Albertsons/Safeways go this is a smaller store but it is well stocked with what I need on any weekly trip.The store is well lighted with friendly helpful staff.Nice produce ,large selection of beer,wine & hard liquor that isn't locked in a case.The meat section is well stocked & in the small butcher shop they well cut pretty much anything you would like .I picked up some great T-Bone steaks there today.Best time to go if you want to zip through the store is ~ 8 AM Saturday/Sunday

Always friendly with quality products at affordable prices. I had to order some chicken and the deli service staff didn't even cringe when I said I needed 50 pieces and said they would have it ready in 15 minutes.

They have updated the looks inside the store. It is bright and fresh looking. The produce was on point. I was able to find golden beets and and several colors of cauliflower. They also had some great selections for quick meals in the butcher section.

1/2/24 went in tonight. They still had a great selection of golden beets. :) one of their sales price didn't adjust when I was checking out. The person who helped me was kind gave me a price adjustment to the advertised price and had to pull the product out of the bottom of the packed bag :) and when they were done, repacked my bag of groceries! To describe this experience in 3 words would be ABOVE AND BEYOND!

Clean store lots of amazing deals. The produce smelled fresh and really good like fresh fruits good quality and lots of choices to chose from. They didn't have any registers open so I had to do self check out which isn't hard or anything but the employees need something to do . Friendly workers there and were super helpful and very friendly . Great job Safeway employees keep up the quality customer service and the smiles

The pharmacy is small and personable. Be nice to them, customers!

Let me tell you, Ramirez restaurant is by far, THE BEST authentic Mexican food in town. PERIOD! Not only the food is delicious, but the 5 star service and attention to detail the servers possess, is far superior than any other Family owned Mexican Restaurant in this entire county. They have a dine-in side, as well as a newly designed bar side which is very attractive to the eye, and I was thoroughly impressed. I went on a Tue and there was an Open Mic Live music performance that apparently occurs every Tue. Music was great and pleasant, they also had a Stand up comedian as well as some local R&B artist. Then to top it off, they have a mini ice cream parlor and candy store inside the restaurant as well! This place has it all! If you haven't tried this place you r definitely missing out. Our servers names were Oscar and Andreas. You should ask for them. They have good energy and that really made the experience what it was. 5 stars. I recommend this place hands down if you want to have anything from a date night to a family dinner to just stopping in for a quick drink or even just a sweet tooth or dessert. Love this location. Staff is amazing and helpful. Management team members I have been waited on by(low staff) have been just great. Especially Angel. I primarily shop evening or night. Store is always clean. Prompt clean up when rotten entitled guests spill or break things. Safety is a priority here. I feel safe letting my daughters shop here alone.

Now our local Albertsons store is owned by Safeway inc. which is Signature products and Quality best. They still offer the same quality services as they have for many years.

Great place to shop and save and they offer gas rewards to. The trick to shopping here is to use your club card with weekly sales. I on average save about 60% and earn 50 to 70 cents off a gallon a gas every time I do my grocery shopping here. It's not a joke and it really does help!!!!

This store always has fresh food and the lines are usually very short. Great prices like normal and happy to support union stores.

I always find quality merchandise here that I can never find anywhere else. Case in point, an 100 percent Spanish extra virgin olive oil that is cultivated by Spanish farmers in Spain. Excellent.

We shop at Safeway in Tumwater exclusively . It is very safe and we feel very comfortable there.

The staff are great! Especially Patty. She always has a smile on her face.

This store near TROSPER is so well maintained. It's so clean and such a huge selection of what you're looking for. Its appearance is recognizable once you step in.

I love the friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable employees that are actually helpful. Makes shopping a better experience. Very good customer service here. They are good at knowing what is happening, so lines don't back up at the self checkout, someone promptly opens a till if there are people with carts full (like mine was). one of the managers here is quite young, and has been at the store for years, which shows they must be a good employer. I don't mind spending an extra few bucks on groceries to get good quality meat and produce here.

I think I've found my new regular weekly store. So close. Clean and not too big, not too small. Enough customers so you know the place is well-liked but not insanely crowded like in H-town. Decent selection. Nice produce. Walk-in beer cooler. Not a huge wine selection. Very friendly staff.

I like the pharmacy here at Safeway. The people are nice. I wish Safeway’s food was cheaper, because it’s the only store within walking distance, but it’s not too bad. Even Walmart’s food is expensive now. But Safeway has a nice variety of fancy healthy foods if you look closely.. better than Walmart’s offering of fancy healthy foods, which is slowly growing.

This place is so much better than the old Albertsons that used to be there. They stay open until 1am and Tumwater was definitely in need of a grocery store that stays open past 11. The produce is good, bakery is nice with lots of options. I got my covid booster shot there to the same afternoon I made the appointment. Staff is always helpful and polite. Plus if you are a member you save a bunch of money at checkout. The parking lot can have a lot of slow moving traffic due to the pedestrians coming and going, and the parking lot is pretty dark at night, but still feels pretty safe. Super grateful to have a store open late near my home because of how late I eat food and cook. Thank you new Tumwater Safeway! 👍👍😄

The store is ALWAYS clean, well stocked, and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. I do my weekly grocery shopping here. I really appreciate the wide variety of products. I really like the new remodel. While I understand the need for self check out counters, I personally prefer the face to face experience. Thanks for being there. I really appreciate you.

Real clean! Workers were real nice and helpful. The layout is different than the one in my neighborhood. Everything is labeled and well marked. When there were more than three people in line they opened another (that is unheard of). If I lived in the area, this would be my store!

moved to the neighborhood about a year ago when it was Alberson few months later it turned to Safeway. I love coming to the store I shop here just about almost every day. The employees here are super friendly they go out of their way to make sure that each customer is treated exactly the same. I love the fact that while I am looking for products in the store associates walk up to me and ask me how my day is going and if I need any help. I love the fact they do this without even being asked for help.

Most of the employees go out of their way to actually get to know you. I’ve got a great relationship with a lot of employees here and I highly recommend the store for anyone that is looking for a new grocery store. The prices for some products are a little bit high but for the service that you get I look past it because it’s well worth the money I’m spending.

I’m getting ready to move soon so I won’t be in Washington anymore and I am going to miss this store so much. I’ve never shopped at a grocery store where I felt welcome like I do here. I am also a former associate of Safeway and I can tell you if you’re looking for a job at a Safeway this would be the store to go to if you really want to work with a great team of people.
