I just love our little Safeway in Lacey.
(Yelm Hwy) I’ve been shopping here the last five years. I’ve become great acquaintances with people there. The cashiers are super friendly and very helpful. The gals in the meat department are amazing and always have what I need. All employees I’ve had interactions with have been pleasant. My shopping experiences are always good. I’ve even enjoyed having my pharmacy here. Lately though it makes me cringe thinking about needing to pick up my medication. Hopefully though people will have patience with them as it’s not their fault. All in all it’s a great store.

This is the best store ever! I have left my wallet in the shopping cart and dropped it on the ground outside my car, and came back hours or days later to find that Safeway had it at customer service with all of the money and credit cards intact. Same thing with my cell phone. Two or three times and I get it back every time. Plus they’ve got all the regular Safeway, grocery stuff, which is just fine.

5 Stars all to Jose, the tall, handsome Gentleman (goatee and a hat) not only saved my night but secured my Day! My fiancé needs strawberries for her lunch and because of Valentine's Day tomorrow the only strawberries there were chocolate covered, i couldn't use those but thanks to his can do attitude he said sit tight I'll see what i can do and badabing badaboom! Mr. Worldwide himself said Dalé and jose came in with a plethora of strawberries that had yet to be put out and he is the Epitome of a bro who's got your back!

Safeway is very nice indeed the staff was quite friendly I didn't see any problems that was some items not directly on the shelf but you could find it elsewhere in the store very nice atmosphere highly recommended

Friendly and helpful staff! I am a manual wheelchair user, and had no problem getting assistance from the staff wjen it came to finding and reaching certain items.

Very chill store, even during holiday rush, it's clean, friendly staff, and always seem to have what I need.

My husband and I shop at the Safeway on Cleveland almost daily! We love how clean the store is but to be honest we have had more bad encounters with staff than good. But tonight, Mary, helped us and just went above and beyond with her kindness and just overall friendliness. My husband and I talk often about how people have become so rude everywhere we go from coffee shop employees to restaurant employees. It's awful... We wish more people could be like Mary. She is awesome. Thank you Mary, you honestly made our night better just with your kindness.

I give five stars because this location is open before 6 AM, and this store still has a large floral section.
This location has been open since the 1950's, when you could still smoke cigarettes in stores.

It's my favorite quick trip store

Great customer service, above and beyond! A month or so ago I had been walking through the produce section and swinging my arms atound like the spaz that I am when my gall darn wedding ring went flying off my hand and into a cooler full of kale and whatnot. Well, four guys who worked there took it all apart, even climbing on top of the cooler and eventually found my ring! I was crying and freaking out and they saved the day. When I attempted to give them a cash tip, they refused and just said they were happy to help. God bless those dudes, they really helped me! My wedding ring is my mose prized possession.

I’ve shopped here around closing hours, 10pm-1am & I just want to mention the staff as they are incredibly nice and helpful! Jeremy Adams has gone above & beyond as he is tremendously caring & professional. I want to mention Landon as well as I have even forgotten a big case of beverages & he even ran out the door to catch me. He also shares alot of info I didn’t know, about items in the store & other miscellaneous things. Jose is also very welcoming & personable. I also want to mention Kirby Baker who is professional & nice. They’re all really good at their jobs & have all helped me during my shopping experiences over the past years!

The bakery lady was so nice and took time out of her day to make a garlic bread for me on the spot. I thought she was just grabbing one already made but no she made it right then. Thank you so much for being so kind and absolutely going out of your way to help me. Morning crew baker needs a raise

Safeway shopping has always been so easy to shop

I appreciate Safeway because of their consistency and high standards. To the fruits and vegetables are always fresh. We enjoy the variety of precleaned and cut. The meats are also top quality. The sea food can vary seasonally. Overall just 👍 great.

The fried chicken is great, but the size of the chicken thighs is shirking. They use to serve huge ones. $2.00 for a tiny piece of chicken isn't worth it no matter how good it is.

The pharmacy is exceptional. It boast a nostalgic home time feel. They are one of those stores you could spend your paycheck in! They are awesome, good service, the pharmacist will actually come out and talk to you. They treat you like a person!

I have started going her regularly lately and it is clean, well stocked, and their employees are always asking if they can help. Their deli is good, I enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. I also do like their location since there really is not another grocery store close by.

Clean ...good produce section( fresh and variety). Reasonable prices. Great meat sales. I was the last customer of the day but the cashier was still friendly and helpful. He made it very pleasant to shop there.
