Barn Nursery

One of the best nurseries I have been to, a vast variety of plants, flowers, herbs, trees, water plants and cute gifts. The staff are a wonderful as they can be.

The selection is very good. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. Look for the sale or clearance items. The old clock in the barn was made by a old employee over 30 years ago. Check out the hidden treasures.

Very nice peeps, tons of well marked, clearly priced, very healthy plants. Many gorgeous decorations and I found this beautiful pot at a decent price. Some prices were a bit excessive but not exorbitantly so

I highly recommend. As novice gardeners we wanted to get an apple tree for our home. On a previous trip we saw some apple trees at Home Depot. Prior to going back to Home Depot we made our first ever visit to the Barn Nursery. The selection at the Barn was so much better and to our surprise the prices were much better also! Beyond the great selection and prices, the trip to the Barn was a great choice because of how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was! They were so great. Jen spent at least 10 minutes answering our questions and teaching us the best techniques and timing for planting and caring for our tree. She even gave us hand written notes and invited us back to find her later in the year to discuss fall pruning and care. This will definitely be our first stop for all future gardening and plant needs.

We are new to WA and new to gardening! Jenn and Nina were both awesome! Jenn took the time and showed us what we needed to know. While Nina gave us more information about the right fertilizers to use and timing of when to plant.

Barn Nursery is such a wonderful place to go and hang out with the plants and shrubs. The gift shop is so much fun with witty and quirky items, it's a fabulous delite. It's a must visit kind of places, hope you go soon.

These folks are truly amazing people! My wife was involved in a hit and run before business hours and they helped her out anyway. Even brought her coffee to stay warm while she waited for the police. I love a company that takes care of the community! Thank you!

Great place with a good plant selection. I've been there several times and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. They offer a great selection of David Austin roses (my favorite) and each that I have planted have done very well. I've also bought many perennials and even garden ornaments. All good quality and decently priced.

I was thrilled to stumble on the Barn Nursery while looking for a different address. It is worth the drive, the plants are healthy and different and reasonably priced compared to other places in Olympia. People were helpful and I look forward to going back there now that I’ve found them.

This is a great nursery with knowledgeable and helpful staff. I will drive out here rather than go to Bark and Garden which is only 4 miles from my house. I was looking for a specific tree and called B&G. They didn't have it, end of conversation. Called The Barn next and received not only an explanation of why they didn't carry it, but also suggestions of what might work instead. I went and bought the tree this morning plus a bunch of other shrubs and another tree: $400. Happily left my money with them instead of B&G.

Very cool place, not only did they have a wonderful outdoor nursery but they had some indoor plants and the home decor was very cute. If you like Thompson's furniture in Tumwater, you'd love this place also.

Huge selection and great prices! I was impressed with all the signs posted with information, usually I spend more time googling at nurserys but there was so much info posted and detailed tags that I didn't have to. Yesterday was my first visit and won't be my last!

I operate a small turkey farm in Winlock and this year decided I wanted a living tree for Christmas that I could be planted after the holiday. I stumbled upon this lovely nursery today and found a beautiful Wiethorst Pine tree! If you've not seen one I highly recommend you run out and take a look yourself. You'll not only likely to find them beautiful but you'll be hard pressed not to find them the most huggable tree of all time! The staff here are great. Kind, knowledgeable, and not above hugging the departing shrubbery.

This nursery and gift shop are a real pleasure to shop in. Prices on gifts made by local artists are very affordable and there's a good selection. There are alot of plants and focal points for outdoor gardens/landscapes as well as outdoor arbors furniture etc. I highly recommend shopping here.

Wow wow wow, simply to say the staff here is amazing. Friendly, open minded, helpful and full of joy. I would say at best my knowledge of plants is limited to the spelling of the word, “plants.”
In the past months I’ve wondered aimlessly through the green houses and many wonderful rooms. Every time Mark has been available to help me find just the right garden starters for me. Even when I came in with an affide problem he didn’t belittle me for my lack of knowledge on how to fix said issue, he simply provided me with the correct product and simple instructions to get my plants back to health.
I can safely say thanks to Mark I have a full planter of bright green plants to enjoy every morning.
