Apericena: A Wine Bar

We had an awesome time here. Music by Bob Banerjee was fantastic! Great drinks and nice atmosphere. Lots of parking too!

Finally made it here and we LOVE it!! Beautiful atmosphere! Great drink and wine selection. Charcuterie was delicious!! Music was great!! Definitely will be back!

Wow!!! This place is amazing. Husband and I just moved to the area and we decided to try this place out for dinner and drinks. I will definitely be recommending this place. ESPECIALLY, if you have the pleasure of getting Lauren as your server. She is amazing!! Her customer service was above and beyond! She made the experience that much better. She was so sweet and attentive. Along with everyone there! We will be back!!!

Apericena is the perfect answer to the upscale wine bar issue. We went there this evening and our server was very knowledgeable and gave excellent suggestions the menu itself has curated wines that make a return visit imperative in order to try them all. The atmosphere is cool, cozy, and not at all stuffy. Very happy to have this gem in our neighborhood!

Great place for rare selections of wines (great happy hour) and good appetizers. Greeted by attentive bartender, Brad, and gorgeous and knowledgeable wine steward, Alexandria. Took my brother and sister in law, who were in from CT. Fun place for apps and an evening of wine. Highly recommend.

Staff was wonderful. Tons of wines and other drink selections on their menu. They also had a nice food selection. Everything our group ordered was very tasty.

A group of ladies & I all really enjoyed our recent Friday night at Apericena celebrating Siena Light Night 2021.

If you're a newbie to wine or an expert Apericena has the wine list for you. It might just be the longest by the glass list in Pittsburgh, with 35 choices! I highly recommend Apericena for discovering & trying new wines. They even have seasonal flights that are great for expanding your wine palate. The flights are served in a beautiful tower presentation, so be sure you get in your photos.

The bar itself is also very instagrammable with visually interesting design elements like backlit glass storage, trendy wallpaper, wine storage built-ins and a chic white stone bar.

Beyond the wine and the ambiance Apericena also offers cocktails, beer, small plates, snacks, charcuterie and flatbreads.

Apericena often hosts local musicians for live entertainment. There is also an outdoor fountain and a seating area to enjoy.

Highly recommend indulging in a night at Apericena.

Pleasant atmosphere... wonderful selection... amazing staff ! Katie and Kimber are extremely knowledgeable. We have them our likes and dislikes and they made the perfect suggestions! Can’t wait to visit again !
