I had a terrific stay. From the moment I checked in they were accommodating. Crystal is the best. She was knowledgeable. She had everything ready when asked. The next day Crystal even recalled my daughter’s audition and asked how it had gone. The rooms are older but very clean. Love the layout. It was definitely enough room to spread out comfortably. By far, the best fitness center. More than a closet with a treadmill. It was inviting. They had a Peloton I could ride and decent equipment. From the moment I checked in they texted me to make sure all was fine with my room and overall experience. That was a first. They texted both days that I stayed at the hotel. The icing on the cake were the cookies. Thank you Doubletree!

It was our first trip to Pittsburgh, we were celebrating our 11th anniversary! We thought we did all our planning prefect and found out the airport lost some of our luggage and then we discovered the car service place at the airport gave our rental to someone else and we were forced to use an Uber. When we finally showed up to our hotel we sadly discovered we had booked the same hotel just over an hour away. We were devastated, we had came all this way for the Packers Steelers game and didn’t know what to do. The prices of the hotels had skyrocketed for the big game. One of the front desk people, Alley had gave us information on what we should do. She saw us struggling, frustrated and overwhelmed. She immediately gave us snacks and water and tried her best to help us. She even got on the phone with the other hotel to help us cancel with no fees and got us a room there for the same price we had paid for. She was running back and forth trying to help us the best she could. We were so grateful! When we got to our room we discovered she had gotten us a suite with a beautiful view! Moments later she had delivered cheesecake and a sweet note wishing us a happy anniversary with meal vouchers for the restaurant attached to the hotel! Little did she know those were our favorite flavors! I swear we were so excited and in complete shock! After we had landed we couldn’t help but feel defeated but thanks to Alley and all of her efforts she completely turned our mood back around! She hands down, single handedly saved our trip, our mood and our anniversary! I’m not a hugger but when I came back down I had to give her a big hug! The restaurant attached, Bigelow Grille was very well kept. The food was perfect! All around such warm and inviting staff for the entire establishment!

Stayed here twice within month and half...staff from desk, restaurant, and valet extremely nice. Wasn't able to fit my truck in parking they were able to help find a garage big enough. Rooms were clean and comfortable. 2nd trip 5 of us were in the 2 room suite they worked diligently to get the room ready because we arrived early. Love the location can walk to several fountains, places to eat and the point very easily.

I stayed here for a 3 day Conference for Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and this place was a gem! The location was perfect. It wasn't far from the Convention Center,so I could walk there (saving transportation money). The restaurant in the Hotel had great food so the meals that wasn't included in my Conference I got right there, the rooms were comfortable and the Front Desk Staff were very Helpful and Very nice when I checked in

Great place to stay. The complimentary cookies at Check in were delicious. The front desk staff are great. The location is amazing. Took us 5 mins to walk to ppg arena. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The washrooms were stoked with clean towels and the washroom was very clean as well. Well worth the price if staying in down town pittsburgh.

Stayed for a Penguins game. Close to the arena. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were excellent. Even got cookies when we checked in.

Great hotel and location. Walking distance to most anything. Great staff. Breakfast buffet really the only drawback. Not what we expected for the brand

Stayed for the Era’s Tour night 1, and WOW! The rooms were clean and spacious, and had an adjoining room to my other companions. They even had a cute little Swiftie party in the lobby. The man at the front desk even waived our valet parking due to one of the showers that stopped working. (We didn’t even ask or hint - just let him know so he could get it fixed for the next guests). I’d definitely recommend and stay here again!

Stayed one night while traveling. Property was excellent, one of the best I have used. Downtown location very conveniently located to public transportation: light rail/subway station across the street, about one-half mile to intercity bus and train depots. Room was spacious, well-appointed, and extremely clean; everything in the room worked properly. Pool was large and clean, though its entry-way was a bit chilly. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant (complimentary) was very good. I was a bit rushed due to departure time of my train and the server delivered very quick service to assist me. Server was courteous and professional. Other staff members I encountered were equally courteous and professional. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Rooms are very spacious! 24 hour coffee bar. Convenient parking. Nice area with restaurants close by.

Amazing hotel!! Great location and great staff! Will definitely be returning on our next trip to Pittsburgh.

We had no shampoo, no conditioner or body wash. Management was supposed to comp us free valet parking for the inconvenience, never did.

The location is perfect for a Pens game, the convention center, Duquesne university and many, many other attractions. It's very easy to get from here to Heinz Field, the casino, or any other north shore destination thanks to the T station right outside the hotel. You'll be enchanted by the sound of real church bells coming from the Lutheran Church across the way, the views are very nice from the upper floors.

The room was huge, clean, and well maintained. The windows actually open so it's easy to get a little fresh air. My one complaint would be the bathroom which was very cramped. There's enough space in the living area to have several couples dancing but the bathroom was so teeny.

The staff we interacted with were all friendly and, unlike other inner city hotels I've stayed at, the valets parked my car and left it there until we requested it.

Room service from the Bigelow Grille was served fast, fresh and steaming hot.

The room was spacious and the hotel was very clean. We needed a refrigerator and microwave and they brought them to our room. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very conveniently located near PPG Paints, the room was nicely set up, the pool was newly renovated. Will definitely be staying here again!

Edit: Issue was resolved with a refund. While it was troublesome to deal with, I appreciate the effort to remedy the situation.

Had to arrive late for a checkin at 4am due to an emergency and was told that their system resets at 3:30am and that our reservation had been cancelled. We were, however, able to buy another room for 4am-11am as they had no other option to help fix the reservation. They also weren’t able to let us reserve a room for the next day and check in early. Felt incredibly arbitrary and overall an absolutely terrible experience.

Hotels in a great location, near the John Heinz History Museum. **To park it’s $28 valet only** The guys working valet are EXTREMELY nice, personable people. If you need your car or anything from it it’s controlled off of your phone. They offer fresh warm, DELICIOUS cookies when you check in. Stayed on the 16th floor away from elevators. Room smelled great and was clean. Had a decent view, walls were a little thin. Very spacious room with a wine fridge which I loved but wish room had a freezer. I also wish there were better assortments of teas & coffee in the room. Bathroom was small and I hated the pedestal sink. The water pressure in the shower was heavenly, I could’ve stood under it for hours. I was not a fan of how the room was set up. I like the bed being tucked around corner not right by the door. That way there’s more privacy when/If door was open. Towels weren’t the softest but got the job done. Love love loved the gym!!! Lots to do, very clean, plenty of equipment.

Came for work. Very nice hotel, easy to check in on the Hilton App. Electronic key worked fine. Hotel restaurant had limited options but was decent. Had a cookie at check in which was nice. Parking is valet $30. They also held our bags while we were working and we came back and got them after work. Overall nice staff and clean rooms.

The room was very good and clean. I was treated very well, and I have no complaints about anything in the hotel. Keep in mind that parking is valet only, and even though the valets do an excellent job, it's still a bit of a hassle to get your car in and out.
