My wife & I met my sister & her husband had dinner at the bar. We had the Prime Rib (2x), French Dip & the Gulf Shrimp. Everything was great, and our bartender Kelly was fantastic. Old-school charm that continues to deliver. We’ll be back!

Great food NEVER had anything bad there. From food to the service nice bar. Just a nice CLEAN place. Big dinningroom kids menu . 5 stars if your from out of town. Try the steaks super super good. Great staff so go by stop in & get a drink & a bite to eat. Pricing is reasonable for any dinner/ lunch. Like l said this place gets 5 stars. Ben there 16 times never had a bad experience. Now it's your turn.

Local bar with pleasant service and usually quiet atmosphere. The fish sandwiches are the best in Pittsburgh. Huge portions. Tasty breadcrumb coating. Fried just right. Also the fried zucchini is best in Pittsburgh. Hand sliced. Dipped in parmesan/ bread crumbs. Fried just right. This is old time and authentic bar. Experience the real Pittsburgh in a safe neighborhood, and a friendly bar.

If you happen to be in Millvale, Grant Bar is the go-to restaurant. All of the staff there are so friendly and the food is good and affordable. I especially love their coleslaw and coconut cream pie.

Was in town visiting some military buddies and I stopped at this bar just by happenstance and I could not be happier I met the bartender there and she was an absolute doll she made everything so comfy and fun and also made an absolutely amazing tasting Bloody Mary! I tried the sample platter of appetizers and was not disappointed the portion size was just the way I like it way too big so I can take home leftovers LOL I got to enjoy some IC light on tap and I really hope I get to go back there someday! Definitely a gem

I went here for the first time on Saturday after seeing the fried shrimp/pies featured on WQED. It did not disappoint! I wish I would have found this place earlier! Our waitress was amazing.

Had appointment at Allegany hospital live 2 hours away from Pittsburgh my son came with me we've heard a lot about this bar and restaurant so we went for turtle soup and fish sandwich sadly to say they didn't have the turtle so we settled for the fish sandwich fresh onion rings there shrimp and my so had the coconut cream pie best pie he ever ate I past on the pie and regretted it But this was the very best fish and shrimp and onion rings that we have ever ate and we diffently recommend this 5 star res and bar to anyone still can't get over it and I have a return Dr's appointment in 2 weeks guess where we will eat can't wait

We went to Milvale for the music festival. The fried zucchini was good and the beer was cold. It was very busy there that day. We will go back to eat a meal.

Stopped here for the first time yesterday - comfortable inside- exactly what you want in a bar/restaurant. Waitress/bartender was very busy but very good. Burger was arguably one of the best I have ever had. Will be back without a doubt.

Michelle is an amazing server! She is hilarious! The food was so tasty, we all loved it! Great spot! Try it for yourself.

A favorite from my childhood. Still come back to Millvale specifically for it. The Chicken Parmesan is easily the greatest food to me, and my absolute favorite on the menu.

Best liver and onions I've had in years!!! Everything was great, especially the food and service.

I went the first time with a group of nine. We were seated almost immediately to a table in the back room. The food came quickly and hot! The onion rings and fried zucchini appetizers were the best that I have ever had. But the most wonderful part was the fresh made coconut cream pie! The crust was amazing! It's the best of ever eaten! If you oder nothing but the pie, you are sure to return.

Look at the top of the salt shaker before you salt anything which you would not even need to put salt on since the food here is good straight from the kitchen. Those shakers pour and you won't have to shake! I had a glass of Cabernet and a cup of turtle soup. The soup is hearty so a bowl is too much for me. Very delicious, that turtle soup.

This place is a GEM! not crowded and if it is people are quick on both sides of the plate. Quality menu so much to choose from. The sandwiches make this an outstanding lunch spot! The servers are “pittsburgh friendly” love to chat answer questions run to the kitchen bring your food smile and take care of the next table! Felt like the diner atmosphere where you get great food super fast except this food is delicious as well as fast. Get there soon.

Shrimp were fantastic. Waitress amazing! When we were too full for pie she bought us a piece and sent it home with us....fantastic later that night. Definitely returning on our next trip to Burg!
