Went in November 2022, Jack was very friendly and helpful. He offered me an umbrella for the rain and gave me some free popcorn. Very proud dad of all of his kids as well. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been collecting videotapes for nearly two decades. I wanted to watch movies (mainly Disney) using prints from the 1980s and 1990s before remastered to DVD. But one day, my JVC Super VCR would not respond to my remote. I wanted to find someone that can repair/refurbish my VCR. After countless hours of research, I turned to this shop in Pittsburgh (Jack’s Videos). I told Jack the story about my VCR (my remote would not respond to the sensor). So I dropped off the VCR. A week later, he told me it just needed a new remote. Another weeks later, he told me it the sensor on the front panel is bad. Jack then offered me a Panasonic VCR (Hi-Fi Stereo sound) and gave me the JVC back. I tested both VCRs. The Panasonic worked but when I tested the JVC with the remote….I was going “Smile, you’re on candid camera!” The VCR worked with the remote! I was shocked!

I’ll keep the Panasonic as a spare one. If you are looking to repair or refurbish your VCRs (even DVD/VCR combos) at a reasonable price, Jack is the man!

Jack is one of a kind. His repair service for audio equipment is a lost art or a quickly diminishing one. Fair price and between the two of us, we managed to figure out what the problem was.

Jack fixed my 1989 JVC cassette deck. Fair price and he stands by his work. He's also a friendly guy.

We love going to jacks video. He has a ton of movies not only for sale but to rent. He has has games, game systems, tv's, dvd players, blue ray players, vcr's, and much more electronics for sale. He has great deals on movies to buy also. Once he gets to know you, he gives better deals sometimes. We have bought over 100 movies so far this year. It is our "go to" place for buying movies.
