We saw them on the Today show and wanted to check out their shop...and boy are we happy we did! The ambience, kind staff, huge selection of salts and spices blew us away.

My wife and I are foodies and have not come across spices and seasonings as fresh as the ones we picked up, our new household favorites are the Pierogi salt, creole blackening, sriracha salt, and aleppo pepper!

We even ordered online for our friends as a birthday gift, suffice to say our friends and family are now hooked!

I ordered 4 seasonings and they were packaged nicely! Arrived super quick and included a sample of Pimpkin Pie Spiced Sugar! Can't wait to try! These people ROCK!

I recently tried their Pumpkin Pie Spiced Sugar and it's delicious! I put it on toast and I added some to my coffee and wow! I'm going to try other things like ice cream and french toast.
This company is the epitome of an old fashioneed mom and pop store. They were kind enough to personally call me to save extra shipping when I wanted something else AFTER placing my previous order!
And they give you a sample with every order. That's cool too because it's nice to try things before buying it.

Great selection of spices, original blends, salts, flavored sugars, olive oil and lots more packed into a cute little store. They carry refillable shakers which makes my eco friendly heart happy! Tons of affordable gift ideas here, too.

I have ordered from Steele City Salt Company several times and been able to go the shop while visiting friend. The customer service is excellent. The salts are so flavorful! Our favorites are love, Pittsburgh Everthing Salt (it makes an excellent chicken cheesesteak) and 21st & Penn Honeh BBQ Blend (It’s perfect seasoning for turkey burgers)!

Probably my favorite spice shop I've ever been to. Everything is super really affordable and they have an amazing selection. Literally can not go wrong with anything in this store. Will definitely be back here. One of the best stores in Millvale.

TOTALLY AWESOME - if you have not tried any of Steel Cities Salts blends - you owe it to yourself to give them a try - I use their spices each and every day and enjoy each and everyone!
Their shipping was very fast and I loved that they use those biodegradable popcorns in their packing- I look forward to trying all their spices!

The Dill Pickle salt is my absolute favorite! I use it on pretty much everything. Plus there’s always a nice handwritten note on the invoice. I love Steel City Salt!

Stopped in Millvale to hit some other shops and saw this place for the first time. Loved it! Great small atmosphere and very welcoming employees! Sorry I didn't make it in before, I'll definitely be back.

Their selection of spices and herbs allow us to support this small business. They are one of the few retailers to carry ground cardamom, one of the essential spices for brewing tea. Their selection of salt lamps is also impressive! I highly recommended visiting this shop for stocking your kitchen and soul.

Stumbled upon Steel City Salt Company as they were manning a booth in the Strip Last week, and I was immediately taken with their selection, packaging and friendliness. The friendliness alone was enough to make me want to support them, but the quality and freshness of their Creole Blackening Blend will have me running to Millvale to sample more of their interesting and unique (not to mention, TASTY) products!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Absolutely in love with their blends, at my home and as a gift for friends & family. The garlic and herb salt literally travels with me everywhere I go. Can’t wait to make my way through all of their amazing flavor combinations.

As a gift, we first received several spices from Steel City Salt Company - Pink Himalayan Salt and the Tellicherry Peppercorns . Wow! The best quality of spices we had ever had. From this initial gift, we then expanded into other spices from Steel City Salt Company. Our family loves to cook! Their spices add great flavor to our dishes, changing our dishes from good to gourmet. The website is great for ordering online. The customer service is superb. The Spanish Rosemary has made our lamb dishes out of this world. Our family loves the Espresso Salt on vanilla ice cream - delicious! We have purchased other spices on Amazon and supermarkets - but does not compare to the quality of spices at Steel City Salt Company.

Have been using their salts and spice blends for a few years now; they make the best blends and always have interesting, new products coming out. My current favorites are the Dill Pickle Salt and the Pumpkin Spice Sugar. John and Candy are awesome and their store is so inviting! Definitely give them your business!

Luckily I found them in the Strip one Saturday. Their coffee and espresso salt and rub products are definitely coffee flavored and not too hot and spicy like other brands. My entire family shops there now. And they are the nicest people too. Thank you Steel CIty Salt!

I love this place! They also sell in the strip district on weekends, but their little shop is very cute and welcoming. I can't live without their garlic and herb blend and I highly recommend the black and gold blend and Sriracha salt. You can try all their products before you buy. One of my favorite local Pittsburgh brands!
