Ground Round Rutland

I'm gluten free and they have a separate GF menu. I eat there frequently and partially enjoy their burgers, ribs, fun atmosphere, specials, free popcorn and watching sports on there 8 large screen TV's. Always a fun night out, even when you are alone, I always meet interesting and fun people at the bar.

I stopped in to get some wings to go. Very friendly bartender took my order she suggests I buy by the pound (more wings less cost) had a free root beer. Had the order in 31min. Wife was happy not having to cook wings were great good flavor very meaty. Will definitely do this again.

Food is great, especially the French onion soup! Good prices. I can always make a second meal from what I get. Our waitress, Diana, was phenomenal, as always! Johnny and his crew are always hospitable and accommodating! They're also always willing to help out in the community. My favorite place to go in Rutland!

After a bad experience when they first opened, we decided to give Ground Round in Rutland another try. The food was great and our server (cant remember his name. Scott maybe? He works at Petco too) was fantastic. While at GR we witnessed a couple that came in and gave two female several a really hard time and they were really rude and condescending. The female servers handled it professionally and very dignified considering the way they were being spoken to. I have to commend the staff on a great job. I don't know if I would have been half as nice as the servers were. My husband actually stopped on the way out and gave the servers all Kudos! Great job dealing with a tough situation.

One of my favorite places to eat. Food is great and very different from the usual places in the area.
You can dine in a nice quiet area or you can go into the bar area and watch your games on one of the several TVs. Servers are efficient, courteous and attentive.
I highly recommend Ground Round as the menu has something for everyone.

I got the chicken Alfredo which was good. However my husband got the nachos and we couldn't believe the serving size. We shouldve shared it. Our waitress was great. We will visit again soon

I had heard very good things about the new Ground Round in Rutland, and wanted to see for myself. My wife and I went there tonight, and were very pleased. The owners did a beautiful job of renovating, and the Ground Round had updated the concept to a more fresh, contemporary one. I had the chicken parmesan, which was very nice, and my wife had shrimp fajitas, which she enjoyed. I sampled the Mexican rice which came with her meal and it was very flavory.
The owners are hands-on, and personally checked to see if the guests were happy. I will definitely be back

This place is great the food wasn’t excellent but it was okay our server was kind quick and beyond attentive. This was one of my best restaurant experiences ever but only because of our server (Judy) I came on a Monday 6-7 but the food wasn’t great

I honestly can't think of anything negitive to say about all the times I have been here. Food is great and accurate to the order, when mistakes were made with my meals they happily corrected it or did not charge me for any extras added. Staff is very friendly as well. 10/10 will continue to eat here.

I absolutely love this place. I have only had one issue and it was taken care of immediately!! Love the food, very friendly staff. They are always welcome to suggestions and improving their business. They are a great asset to Rutland Vermont!!

Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! The dining is private and pretty quiet, the wait staff was stupendous. I will definitely go again. And the prices are fair.

Excellent food!! Prices are reasonable. Some of the waitresses need help not very outgoing or friendly. Tammy is awesome at the bar. Great personality and very friendly.

Awesome service! Always have deals, half priced apps 3-6! Bogo burgers on Tuesday! Lots of food, reasonable price when you consider the deals.

I had the quesadilla burger and it was great. It was trivia night but unfortunately we could not stay....... next visit we will. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Excellent place great food, great price.very friendly kind staff .they really care that you have an enjoyable experience..my brother and I have been traveling through the area on business for the last 6 months about once week..and stop to rest and eat..all the staff are great we have come to know Stacey and colleen they are awesome..real down to earth people and very professional..we are so glad we found this place ,and stop every chance we can ,and look forward to the next time..we would advise you stop in and give it a try ,you won't be disappointed...
