Lake St. Catherine State Park

Its so beautiful here! I hadn't been since I was a kid and I just fell in love all over again. I love to get a good tan while at the beach and the mountains aren't too high so you really get more time in the sun in the evening at this spot. There's also a lot of trees so if you'd rather sit in the shade there's plenty of that too! There wasn't a concession stand when we went, I'm not sure if they usually have one or not but there are bathrooms and changing rooms.

Spent ten days on the lake and fished kayak and row boat wildlife and the eagles were all around the lake beautiful lake

I enjoyed this lake so much! It’s fun, not too crowded, lots of shade, good for picnic, barbecue, And many more. It’s good for family hangout getting is $4 person. Carry snacks

Great camping with spacious campsites. The lake is right there and it's perfect for hot summer days. Facilities are well maintained and park staff is friendly. Unbeknownst to us, there is also a network of mountain biking trails accessible directly from the campgrounds! Endless Brooks Trails and Fairgrounds Trails are an awesome place to go MTB. Fun, flowly, and technical parts! Definitely recommend staying at lake St. Catherine if you plan on hitting these trails!

Beautiful spot, not a ton of people. The water was warm, and my 2 1/2 yr old loved it.

Gorgeous view. Loved the lake there. It was so peaceful. All the restrooms are very well maintained, plenty of drinking water fountain. Totally worth of visit

Beautiful park! The fishing is good, beach area for swimming is excellent. But the snack shack is never open….

I love this lake! Have been visiting since I was a child and everything is exactly the same. Still beautiful, clean and relaxing. They have charcoal grills and picnic tables as well as restrooms. Very peaceful and clean. Not crowded at all. Would definitely recommend!

Always a great place to go to sit and relax. Vermont should be very proud of their state parks.

Really well-run facility with amazing staff. They were all very helpful and kind while we dealt with our broken vehicle. They even helped us push it to our site! The sites are well-maintained and the bathroom/shower facilities are spotless. There are also some of the best mountain bike trails in the state right across the street. Will definitely visit there again.

Even on a dreary, borderline rainy day, what a great place to visit! Very simple trails, nothing too special to see on those trails, but comfortable and easy if that's what you want. Good spot for swimming w the kids, and picnic tables are available but spread out for privacy and peacefulness. The picture posted was from the table we chose, which is also very close to rest rooms and parking. Highly recommend this park, for walking, picnic and swimming.

Small but sufficient beach area. Sunny and Shady areas available. Clean public areas and restrooms. Disappointed that the snack bar was not open but perhaps next year. Dressing areas should have curtains; cutting a dollar store shower curtain in half would probably do the trick.

Lake St. Catherine State park is a great park for anyone. The lake is clear and refreshing. It's great for any swim ability. The playground is newer and of good size. This is a great place to come relax, have a picnic, swim, spend time with the family, camp, or just about anything. I would recommend coming here.

Great place to camp. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful lake. Don't suggest going on holiday weekends if you plan on fishing as the beaches were over crouded and too many boaters. But I would love to go back and explore the fishing a bit more I hear its great for trout and bass.
