Barro's Pizza

Excellent family friendly pizza place with delicious food and great service. They have a toddler play area in the back, too!

We tried the chicken supreme - fantastic - and the white pizza. If you like cheese you'll love the white pizza. It was the highlight, for sure. We also ordered wings and ravioli, and everything was really good.

Aside from wonderful food, they had a large selection of beers on tap, and a friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality.

If you're in the area, give Barro's a shot - you'll be happy you did!

This pizza is amazing! We were in town for a baseball tournament and decided to try something local. I highly recommend this! The service was great, greeted with smiles from employees, and the food was wonderful. Clean tables and even a play area for little kids!

This is your pizza place! Super cute and homie feeling for a pizza 🍕 place. Staff is super nice and patient when someone like us never been. She explained eve try bring and was very sweet! Pizza and bresd sticks were amazing! Will come here again for sure!

First time here, we really enjoyed it. Pizza was excellent. Crust has a nice soft chew, meatballs are tender and flavorful. I will be back

Our daughter plays for vision volleyball. So on our trip down there tonight we stop by because we heard this pizza place was amazing. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere and the employees were absolutely awesome. I think the wife and I found a new place for date night, and we live over 30 minutes away.

This is the best pizza in McKinney. Honestly, the closest I have had to pizza I am used to from other parts of the country. The prices are fair. The food is fresh, and the dough is really really good. Always on time with delivery, never bad temp or soggy. The delivery person is always polite. I have I’ll never have a problem giving them business. I am yet to fine in, but will update when we get the chance.

Barro's is hands down, our favorite pizza place! It is the same family who started Barro's in Arizona, and I think CA....not sure about CA.
We have had parties in their party room, we have taken to-go, and dine-in. The service has always been great! They are friendly and fast. The food quality is excellent. We love to get a side of meatballs as an appetizer- they are SO good! The pizzas are generous with cheese and toppings, and always cooked perfectly. They have a super yummy cream soda, that is I believe sweetened with agave, so a lower sugar content, but doesn't taste like those fake chemical sweeteners. They also have some yummy iced tea. We probably eat Barro's at least 20 times a year, since they opened a few years ago, and we've never been anything but completely happy and satisfied.

The quality of food and price you pay at Barro's can't be matched by any other pizza place I can think of off top of my head. Front staff has always been nice. Just wish there was one closer to my house 😆

it’s not boujie nor cheap it’s literally everything I want in a pizza saucey cheesy flavorful, pepperonis don’t taste weird neither does the cheese, perfect crust, perfect everything and it’s so affordable it’s so good

Hubby had the regular pizza with crust. I have the white pizza that is vegetarian. Huge fan of risotto chunks on it but we’re still good pizza. I got the gluten-free crust which I will still get even when it is not great. Nobody has conquered the gluten-free crust yet. But, I’d rather eat bad gluten-free than good with gluten crust.

Went there for brunch. The atmosphere was very lovely, not busy at all. The pizza slices are huge and tasty. I got a vegetarian pizza and it was absolutely delicious!

The lunch specials are a steal! $6 for a slice, a salad, and a drink!

The lady at the front desk was very nice and polite, the cooks were quick and efficient, every slice of pizza looked the same with same amount of ingredients.

Will be back and will recommend!

I was in town for work and wanted pizza and a salad. Behold, Barro’s!!! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I glossed over the menu. The employee who’s been working for the company for over 20 years recommended their version of a supreme pizza and in a personal pan size. It was more than enough food for me. I added a glass of wine which they also have. The pizza was phenomenal and paired perfectly with my salad! Food so nice, I ate there twice! It’s packed on the weekends but great for everyday! I will definitely be back!

OVERALL AWESOME & YUMMY.. Great value, friendly and consistent team members. Great management. Classic pepperoni pizza & ceasar salad taste. Leave room for the cookie & ice cream. Plus you can dine-in. Clean bathroom.

Literally the best thick crust pizza in DFW! Having first experienced Barro's in Arizona, I was ecstatic to find a nearby location. Every item on their menu is a winner, but what truly stands out is their thick, gluten-free pizza. In a world where good gluten-free pizzas are rare, Barro's sets the bar high – worth going out of your way for it.

This place is amazing!!! So kid-friendly, with a play area and toys! Definitely a stress-free experience for parents, which I'm always on the hunt for. The pizza is delicious and I love the cheesy garlic bread! Also, they have horchata! Definitely will become a family spot for us!

So I am on a nonfat diet so I got the pasta & meatball meal. It was very delicious. Pasta was cooked well and the sauce was favored well without any acid flavor.

I am very picky when it comes to pizza. Being from Chicago, I am always looking for local, fresh good tasting pizza preferably non-franchise. That being said, this place is good. I ordered a small pizza and planned on taking some home. There was nothing left. The slices are thick, but the bread is not dry. It is soft, moist and tasty. The sauce is very flavorful and they apply a fair amount. The cheese is gooey and tastes good. Whenever it stretches as far as your arm can reach you can bet it is a good mix. The reataurant is very clean and has plenty of sitting area so take your whole family. I plan on taking mine sooner than later. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

My sensitive celiac daughter has eaten here 6+ times and has never gotten sick (this rarely happens when eating from supposedly safe gluten free menus in other restaurants). Their new thicker gluten free crust is AMAZING! And their high quality cheese is to die for. They prep the gluten free pizzas in the walk-in with fresh ingredients to avoid the risk of cross contamination. We have most of our family parties here because the restaurant is spacious with more of a nicer restaurant feel than a just a pizza joint & they have large room in the back with TVs, long tables, and a small play area for the kids (a play kitchen with play food, blocks, and such). We LOVE Barro's SO MUCH!!!!!!!
