I love this place, the food is extremely delicious. Great staff, but this location is a every intimate setting. And if you don't like small places, please don't let that stop you ,order to go.

I’m not sure what others experienced, but everytime me and my wife go it is quite the experience. The butter chicken is incredible, the Garlic Naan bread is amazing. Everything about the people and food is exceptional.

I am vegan . i ordered malai kofta (spicy ) nirvana shahi paneer (spicy) garlic naan , peshawari naan . every dish was mouth watering. i highly recommend you to try malai kofta if you are vegan . also gobi manchurian and vegetable samosa were tasty too .

Never tried indian food but omg this place makes it soo good, filled with flavors, not salty nothing perfect. Fay was soo sweet with me and my family. They are clean they spray down tables and everything before and after people leave.

Great food and good portions for dinner. Can specify your preferred level of spicy, which makes the food very approachable for people unfamiliar with Indian food, but those who are looking for a flavor punch can still get a good spicy dish. Take out has typically short wait times and they offer a discount for paying in cash. Only drawback is that sometimes staff know the same dish by different names, so knowing both names of what you want when you call to order take out is best.

Amazing food. Have enjoyed their lunch buffets, and chicken tikka masala with naan in the evenings. The dish is very similar to the famous London version; great to get that in Berks.

I have dined-in and ordered through door dash on many occasions. This place has phenomenal food and the staff goes out of their way to make every experience exceptional. I asked for a combo that was not on the menu and they happily accommodated the request. I will continue to be a repeat customer.

To me one of the nest places to eat in and around reading. Every dish me and my wife have tried has been great. I understand not every food is for everyone but this is one place that you have to try atleast once. And a great way to start it is by ordering chilli chicken spicy as an appatizer. Great taste!

The food here is absolutely fantastic, and the service is always great. If you're vegan like me, I highly recommend the Baingan Bharta. Amazing! I'd suggest to the owner that they add tofu to their menu, but other than that alone this place is five stars all the way. I always feel so nourished after one of their meals. So, so good.

The food was rich! Flavor on point. The prices were a tad high. They did state on the menu that prices would be higher due to covid but even before the price hike it seemed a tad high. There was one person working the tables and possibly helping the chef in the back but the diner's all seemed to understand. Overall, I'd still go back. It's not always about price, it's about flavor, support, quality and appreciation!!!
Also, they weren't over bearing asking every 2 seconds if thing's were good.

We always order takeout, and they are always so courteous, and the food is not just delicious, but it’s consistent. It’s exactly what I expect every time, which is a big deal. The portions are also generous, so you are getting exactly what you pay for. We moved into the area over a year ago from Philadelphia, and we were afraid that we would never find a restaurant that lived up to our usual place. I am so pleased to find one that wound up being better.
Edit: I wrote my original review years ago, and my feelings about this restaurant remain true today. I want to emphasize that the customer courtesy/service is stellar and I think that cannot be understated. Since the pandemic hit, customer care has unfortunately taken a drastic plunge. Stores closing earlier and earlier, basically kicking customers out the door. Most places you’d be lucky to have someone answer a phone. Luckily Nirvana remains wholly consistent in their quality as mentioned previously, but also their service. I just wanted to say that I see you all working hard, and I appreciate you.

Good ambiance. I ordered chicken tikka masala and it was awesome. Perfect blend of aromatic spices amalgamated in the curry with chicken. Loved it

Best Indian in town. I tried another place in the area, Laximi it was okay. But this place hits the spot. So much seasoning and flavor. I’ve had my fair share of Indian food as well. I am impressed with the food and spice level. My taste buds like spicy and extra spicy and Nirvana delivered the spice. I’ve only had takeout which is a little pricey, but the food is good quality. Portions are on a bit small side. Ordered extra spicy, it’s not burn your mouth spice but close to it.
Maybe one day I’ll try the buffet.

Amazing food. Had the lamb Masala and it was just like home in Boston. The rice was perfect! The naan is fantastic too. The masala tea was perfect for the dish.

10/10 will eat here again.

Truly a fine, authentic dining experience. In the last year that I've lived in this area, I have found this place to be consistently good. Quality ingredients, wonderful atmosphere and Dave is always very pleasant to deal with. I've been here many times with friends, took my mom here a few times and every time we all left happy. I especially recommend the lunch buffet, it's 10 bucks all you can eat for most of the items on the menu. I'll definitely be coming back!
