Ye Olde Spring Valley Tavern

Nice country tavern, off the beaten path, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Food and drinks were perfect. Inside and outside seating options were available. We were seated right away, without a dinner reservation. Good place for a quiet date night.

Went there off time. Not yet dinner but that was my plan. Staffing was limited, but only because of the time we arrived. The manager handled many duties well. Bartender, waiter and host he performed all dities well. Food was very good, I had catfish done perfect, my wife had crab fettuchini. Both were done well. We will definitely go back soon. A gem in a great area, away from a lot. Worth your time.

Beautiful grounds, inside or outside dining. Make a reservation it gets busy.
The service was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. All courses came out at a nice pace, you did not feel rushed. Drinks were very good.

Thank you to our wait staff and chef. Trout Meniuere is my favorite. Thank you too for inviting Joe Keppel on Saturdays. We were so entertained.

The food was delicious and the setting on the patio superb. Caitlin was an excellent server. The mousse dessert was the best I've had in 40 years!!!!

This place is a gem. Best food in the area. Cold beer. This place is beautiful and stunning. The outdoor side is awesome during the summer. They have live music. The Trout and Crab is delicious. I love the wings. All the food is good. Almost have had everything on the menu.

Awesome spot! Will was an awesome waiter and the food was great. $7 for a downeast lemonade is a little steep, but keep an eye out for Joseph Keppel's magic shows on Saturday night, they're not to miss.

Food is amazing. The trout is famed fresh right outback everyday. Atmosphere is perfect and outdoor seating is beautiful

This restaurant is a 10/10! My husband and I came with our daughter late on Friday night & we couldn't have had a more enjoyable time and experience.
Starting off, our server Olivia was PERFECTION. Olivia is the kindest, most attentive server we have ever had. Her personality alone makes the restaurant feel extra welcoming!

Food is 11/10 - we ordered french onion soup, wings (crispy & delicious), stuffed mushrooms & clams! The prices are SO reasonable for seafood. We will DEFINITELY be back again!

We enjoyed our visit to Ye Olde Spring Valley Tavern. It's located in a beautiful area making the drive in a treat! We passed through lovely homes situated along the rolling green hills of a golf course. Then to see the inn was like jumping back in time. We sat out back at the picnic tables where we enjoyed our meals and our pup relaxed with a bowl of water and a chewy we brought for her. The menu was extensive with so much to choose from. The meals were great. The staff was excellent! The back garden where we sat was so tranquil with 2 water foundations trickling and as the sun went down the fireflies came out in abundance! We will definitely be back when we're passing through town!

Love love love this hidden gem!! Been here probably 25x. Incredible Happy Hour. Taco Tuesday is an absolute must with gourmet shells and large tacos, Wing Wednesday is delicious with various delicious flavors (hot & honey my favorite) & homemade Bleu cheese, and they have their own trout dispensary underneath the building with the water kept at 52 degrees year around and fresh trout.

This building has been around since 1896 and has hidden trap doors underneath during probation where people would hide when the place got raided. So much history here. Also, nice outside seating for the summertime.

Loved it! Great atmosphere and food was delicious. Price noted includes alcohol, appetizer, dinner and dessert.

What is not to love about this place? A historic tavern with a solid menu, cool bar, and nice dining room. Tables outside make for a perfect summer night's meal. I had one of their trout specials and it was perfect. Trout is harvested fresh daily from the grounds. My server Kaylee couldn't have been better. Reasonable prices to boot. You can't go wrong here.

Ye Olde is a regular place we like to go and meet up with friends for a casual night out. Easy going and the food is perfect to compliment a good conversation with friends. We love the Magician who comes one night a week (I think it's Saturdays) and performs some top notch table side tricks. Always good fun and food here. The wings are recently one of the things we discovered we had been missing out on. Give em a try!

Staff were pleasant, friendly and responsive. Garden, pond and fountain are beautiful and so peaceful. Food was excellent. Never had a well-done steak that was so juicy and flavorful. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We sat outside on a nice Sunday evening and it was absolutely wonderful. Food was great, my oldest loves their shepherd's pie, my husband and I are rotate between the SVT sandwich and one of their specials of the week. We are never disappointed!

This place is awesome! The people are very nice, responsive, informative, and courteous. The food is beyond compare, with fresh trout taken directly from their beautiful, clear pond, around which there is ample seating amidst well maintained gardens.
