Nockamixon State Park

Great place! Walking, biking, hiking, paddle boats, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, relaxing... All for free here in Bucks County. I am blessed to live so close to this beautiful place! The fishing pier has been a place of peaceful mindedness since I was a teenager. Great for anxiety to listen to the birds, the wind, and the water.

Beautiful lake. Beautiful drive getting to the lake. Haven't been here for years and still gorgeous. It's February so the walking trail is due for a spring clean up of dead trees. Zero trash. No dufuses. This time of year it's so peaceful and serene. Places like this are valuable and need preserving as is.

Been going to this park nearly my entire life. Off and on since the mid 90's. It's a low key hidden gem imo. The lake, trails and picnic areas are very nice, very open plenty of room and relaxing environment. But the log cabin rentals on the other side are even better. Ultimate cabin getaway vacation that I been taking part in for a long time. So many memories highly recommend checking this lake out including the trails, water falls and everything else!

We put in at the 3 Mile Road boat access point. Highly recommend kayaking here. Beautiful views and plenty of space for kayaking. There is a restroom here as well.

Gorgeous spot, would just of course recommend lots of bug repellent.

Also, the waterfalls are accessible from I believe S Park road so people posting it as part of the park can be a bit misleading if you are looking to hike to it from the main part of the park.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The nature trails are great and dog-friendly as long as they are leashed. The Lake is gorgeous all times of the year. They do have a marina so you can rent a boat or take your own.

What a beautiful park. Serene Lake, nice waterfall and lookout, perfect for sailing. Lots of bbq pitts, one of the hidden gems of Pennsylvania. It has its own swimming pools. Therefore, swimming in the lake is not allowed.

Most amazing beautiful Park I have ever been to, with a gigantic swimming pool with a kiddie pool, slides & the deepest part of the pool is 4'9 inches deep. We had a great time walking the trails, bike riding & finally fishing. The ride to & from there was also a delightful ride.

Great place to go biking/fishing, as well as picnic. Has many areas to explore as well as a great mountain biking trail to go onto for those who are up to the task.

Walk from the High Bridge trailhead along the Tohickon Creek. Variety of late summer mushrooms, bald eagle, heron, turtles and snakes sunbathing along the waters edge.
Carry in carry out!

Good place for family hike. It's not difficult. Grab your water and bug spray. You might find some mushrooms and berries that you can eat. Like blackberries.

What a relaxing , beautiful place to just getaway! I highly recommend renting a cabin and slipping away for a few days to relax, rejuvenate and reset with nature!

This park is such a treasure! Clean, well maintained, and very popular for picnics, boating, kayaking, and more. Many picnic tables throughout the park with grills, all right by the water. Beautiful views, plenty of parking, and clean bathrooms make this a park worth visiting!

Kids & I had a nice little hike and did some magnetic fishing

What a perfect place to bring your kids. The lake is beautiful during the fall season. We camped at 1 of the cabins and enjoyed our time. We are definitely going to book it again this summer. It's a perfect 1 hour drive from Philly, so I would recommend anyone to come out here.

Nice walking and bike trail, boat launches, pool was closed, nice marina with sailboats and pontoons. Picnic tables next to lake. Free.. best bathroom is near the marina. Signage is not good at all until you actually get inside the park.

Excellent local state park with great scenery of lake and Fall Foliage

While out doing estimates on a previous Saturday, I took an early break around 10 am and noticed the huge improvements they’ve made to the hiking trails and amenities around the lake. You can kayak, canoe, windsurf and enjoy a family picnic within what seems like Mike of land! Very clean with majestic views, waterfalls, and interesting birds everywhere!

I love it here it's peaceful it's relatively quiet. I thoroughly enjoy the 20 horsepower limit. Sometimes it gets a little hectic with the kayakers and paddle borders, There's nothing like it out there. The fishing is always spectacular there's always something biting.

This is our second year camping in one of the modern cabins at Lake Nockamixon and we are already planning next year's trip. The cabins are clean and have a full kitchen and bathroom with shower. There are two bedroom cabins that sleep up to 6 and three bedroom cabins for up to 8 people. It is quiet and relaxing here in the woods. Looking forward to tonight's campfire.
