I’ve been a patient with Peace Valley Internal medicine for over 30 years. I’ve always been treated with respect and compassion. There has at times been a problem with scheduling an appt. Other than that I’ve been completely satisfied and believe I’ve been well taken care of.

Today was my new patient visit with Dr. Susan Purcell. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a warm welcome by the front desk. The nurse who took me back was as warm and welcoming as was everyone there. Dr. Purcell was so thorough and personable. She did not rush and took the time to review all my records and concerns. She even took the time to ask me about myself personally which is extraordinary for a doctor to do now a days. I look forward to a very long relationship with this office in the years to come. I feel confident in the care I will receive and feel it will be delivered in a warm, caring and professional atmosphere.

My wife and I are new patients at Peace Valley Medical. I had my first appointment today and it was absolutely great! From the moment I entered the waiting room I was greeted with a kind smile by the front desk lady who made me feel welcomed (unfortunately I do not know her name). The wonderful nurse who brought me inside was very kind and pleasant and she did a great job! My nurse practitioner Michael was thorough, knowledgeable, patient, caring and attentive to my concerns. He never rushed me or cut me off, took his time to go over solutions to my ailments and made sure I did not miss anything. He made sure I had all I needed before I left including contact info for blood test in the hospital. Good and caring people like these are hard to find. I am glad I chose this office for my primary care and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to be well taken care off without stress and worry.

This place is amazing. I switched from another provider because the nurses were always so cold and unempathetic. Every nurse is so kind here, every receptionist gives you the warmest greeting at the door, and the doctors are amazing. I don’t live close anymore and still go out of my way to come here. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Peace Valley for over 10 years. It is the most accommodating office and the nurses are outstanding. It doesn't matter how many times I call or if I just require information, the staff are always helpful and polite. My doctor is terrific and never hesitates to send me to a specialist if deemed necessary. If I am not well(fortunately very rare) I am seen on the same day. I highly recommend this practice!!!!

Best family practice I have ever been to in my entire life. The nurses are very helpful and extremely friendly!
Dr. Alan Abromowitz is the best internal physician who l ever have met. I had a pacemaker implanted about 4 years ago and he has been monitoring me ever since.

I have just switched family doctor offices. I was unhappy where I was and decided I need to start to find a new practice. So far I am highly impressed with Peace Valley Internal Medicine. The staff is friendly. I needed an appointment fast one day. The receptionist offered what was available (a late day appointment) however, she received a cancellation and called to see if I could make it earlier. Clearly, the staff cares about their patients.

I love this practice. As a health care professional myself (Registered Nurse) for the past 45 years, I wouldn't consider using another practice. The physicians and CRNP are all top notch. The office staff are outstanding. I can't say enough positive about this practice.

If you are looking for a practice that is knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, then this is it.

I wouldn't entrust my health and welfare to any other practice.

I love the nurse practitioners. I’ve always gone to them because I think they are thorough and really try to understand. Jen Shoup has been through it all with me and I always try to get in on her schedule.

I made an appointment for a new patient. Was told to print the intake paperwork and bring with, I did. The front desk took 2 calls and took too long to enter my paper work because a nurse came around from
The back and looked at me and said “what’s taking so long” ? as I sat down to wait for the nurse, with the 6 pages I printed and filled out at home, not online, the front desk called me back up and told me, I couldn’t be seen because the dr needs more time with a new patient. I spent all that time looking, waiting, needing to be seen, for nothing? I cried and asked for 10 minutes and they said no. Very cold! I have NEVER, even being late, been told the dr would not be seen. I Was never told to come “early” the 2 times I called prior and I was punished. Treated like cattle. I am shocked that this is how impersonal it is at a family doctors office. SAD! I was going to have my whole family start going to this practice.

This office says they are excepting new patients, be aware, no new patients until May 2024! Unacceptable, you should post that.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. My family belonged to this practice for over ten years. Last year, my mother missed appointments because my grandmother and grandfather were rushed to the hospital on various occasions and she needed to be by their sides. As I think most people can relate, my mother completely dropped her schedule each time she needed to be with my grandparents, and unfortunately, she forgot about her appointments or had to cancel them last minute. She always called to apologize, explain the situation and reschedule. She thought everything was fine until she received a letter in the mail, notifying her she had been released from the practice.

Heartbroken, because she felt like the relationship was such a good fit and she had been there for years, she appealed the letter. She was told it was the office manager's decision, yet she was never allowed to speak with the office manager. She was told, "it's a business" and that was that. My grandmother felt so badly about the situation, she even called on my mother's behalf to verify the reasons why my mother missed her appointments. My grandmother was told, "We have a lot of diabetic patients who need the appointments." My mother struggles with a hyper-thyroid and a lifelong battle with an invasive virus, but I suppose that's incomparable after missing a few appointments to care for family members in emergency. Over ten years of her medical history resides with this practice, but they didn't care. She was treated with complete disrespect and disdain by all she came in contact with in regards to this situation. Loyalty and kindness clearly means nothing to this practice.

I have never, ever heard of such appalling treatment. I personally will never go back and know of three other people who are also not going back.

Additionally, I was misdiagnosed by an NP there last year, but let it slide because of the history at the office and because I understood it was not her specialty. I went in for a physical and Pap smear at the same time (two birds one stone) but I will never do that again. My Pap was misdiagnosed and I was terribly worried and distraught about it for weeks until I went for a follow up at my OBGYN. I wound up being completely fine. The NP clearly did not have the knowledge or experience to correctly diagnose my test results.

These unfortunate events will be shared with all who consider joining this practice.

Extremely disappointed! I called last week, doctor was on vacation. Do you think for one minute I would call back? Don't count on it.
Thank you so much for all your help. No help but I'll find a doctor who cares.
Thank you for everything
