Abington Pediatric Associates L.L.P

My children have been under Abington Pediatric care since birth. Over the last ten years, they have always gone above and beyond in their care. Not only are the team of Doctors and Nurses proficient in their field, but they are also warm, compassionate, and always ensure you feel supported in your children's care plans. I was overjoyed when we moved about an hour north and learned we would be able to retain their care. I will also note that the Jamison offices support staff and front desk managers are accommodating, friendly, and on top of every detail. What would we do without such a fantastic team? I hope I never know. I thoroughly recommend Abington Pediatrics in both of their locations.

My children have been going to Abington Pediatrics since birth (2003 and 2008). I have always had only positive experiences with all of the staff from Joanne at check, to the nurses, the physician assistants and Doctors we have met in the Jamison office as well as when we have visited the Abington office.

Not sure what the other reviews are talking about. Everyone here is awesome and super accommodating. Not to say the main branch at Abington is bad at all, but here at Jamison they seem to go above and beyond. Thank you Abington Jamison!

Been taking my boys to the Jamison office since they were babies…now my oldest is in college. Nothing but wonderful doctors and staff.

I have taken my son here since birth and the service was good up till 2years ago. They always give me the run around when I want to make a appointment. They tell me to go to urgent care I stead. I don't want to pay 70.00 for urgent care when I can spend 20.00 at the Dr. Office

My children have been patients of this practice for many many years. I will have to say in the last year it has been like jumping through hoops to get an appointment. A few times I’ve tried to get through to the jamison location with fail. You are put on hold by an automated system and that’s where you stay. I actually just ended up taking my son to urgent care that day. Today I tried to call the jamis in Location, which is about a month after the first incident. This time it was to schedule a sick visit once again I sat on hold for 20 minutes. I decided to try to call the Abington office in which when somebody did pick up I did inform them of the issues that are going on with the Jamison location and was told I can just make an appointment for the Jemison location by calling Abington. I can just make an appointment for the jamison location by calling Abington. After waiting 38 minutes on hold before somebody answered to let me know there was no available appointments today and then I would have to call back tomorrow morning to see if there was any appointments available that day and that there would be no a.m. appointments tomorrow due to the office being closed. I’ve been informed her about the issue with the answering system/automated system at the jamison locations, phone number and she said oh no sorry that’s me. I make appointments for both places. So obviously, Tara who answers the phone for the appointments knows that she does not answer the Jamison location. With the circus event, it takes just to get through and try to make a second visit appointment. I will be taking both of my kids out of this practice.

I've taken my eldest daughter here for years and was pleased with the service. However, this week I had a terrible experience with the doctor, nurse and office manager. I requested separate visits for the required vaccinations for my baby but they refused. They said they followed CDC and AAP guidelines - guidelines that I also agree with. But the guidelines don't require multiple vaccinations on one visit, they just state the age/time that a vaccination is needed. Their justification: "scheduling is too difficult and confusing." Seriously?!? Who isn't able to keep records in an organized fashion? Very arrogant and condescending, unprofessional.

Horrible care. Wait times in the office are ridiculous and doctors over bill for your visit. So this costs you more money out-of-pocket when you have a high deductible plan
