Great local record store. Always fun looking through the new arrivals for used records. I usually find something to buy and my wife loves the selection of books.

I’ve been collecting vinyl records my whole life and have shopped for records all over the world. I have honestly never come across a shop so unique and full of high quality content. Chelsea single handedly inspects, cleans and listens to every single used vinyl that comes her way before putting it in the bins. I can say from all my record buying experiences that no one puts that much time and effort into making sure that the product being put out is that well prepped for their customers and more than fairly priced .
The dedication that NBRE gives their customers through excellence and honesty should be commended as an industry standard.
And I haven’t even touched on how on top of it they are in regard to any and all new releases and reissues.
Trust me… NBRE is quite the diamond in the rough for any music lover and always the first place I go to for any and all new and used wax.
Oh I forgot to mention… they have books too.. the selection is next level… like all books. Seriously all of them, they have every single book..it’s no wonder I end up spending 6hrs shopping and talking music to their staff

Such a great store!! So fun to see shelves and shelves of books!! I could get lost in there for hours! Woman who runs it was sweet and nice to talk to! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Pennsylvania!

If you miss the days of walking into a used bookstore and being able to just peruse at your own pace and let the right books find you, then this is the place for you. And that's just the books. The record collection is divine, everything from rare & vintage to brand new & freshly ordered.

And that's just the ever-charming shop itself, which has stood for nearly half-a-century. The owner & proprieter, Chelsea, is an absolute sweetheart with so so much passion to pour into the shop and community around her.

And, she can sing!! Oh can she sing!! Check out Dirty Dollhouse (or better yet, buy a vinyl directly from the shop!) and be absolutely blown away by the power & beauty of their music.

6 out of 5. This is a true Book & Record Exchange.

Incredible selection of new and used records, and more books than you could read in 10 quarantines. Shop owner and staff go above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for. I felt welcomed and safe the whole time, and left with a handful of children's books as well as two used records in fantastic condition. I love this place and plan to support this local shop forever!

A great store! They have a huge selection of books and music. Lots of used hardcover and paperback books and a big selection of used vinyl and CD's. Browsing the store is very nostalgic and something that cannot be compared to browsing the sterile corporate stores that carry books and CDs and CERTAINLY better than online. This is a great place to shop small. They will also order anything you want to have.

I love this place SO MUCH. Chris Stuckmann highly recommended it and that was good enough for me. I'm so glad he did, the store has such incredible character to it and I could genuinely get lost browsing the store for hours with a big smile on my face the whole time. Do yourself a favor and stop by this store when you have a chance!

Nothing better than a bookstore, except a book store combined with a vinyl store. This pairing really works! Amazing eclectic selection of records old and new covering every genre and great books ranging from children's, YA and all manner of adult. The hunt is such great fun. Staff is friendly and eager to point you in the correct direction. You can visit often and find totally new inventory. I love it!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chelsea and this shop. I grew up shopping here, but now that I live in California, Chelsea takes special orders and ships them to my house! The books and records I have purchased this past year have helped me survive this pandemic. Support this amazing local business!!!

This place was my sanctuary during high school when I was a little socially anxious edgelord didn’t click with anyone who went to council rock north lol. For its size, they always have an amazing selection of both new and used records! Just wish they stocked more jazz, soul, and hip-hop (you’ll find mostly rock). The owner is super chill and helpful, and I love that I can message them on Instagram to check their inventory anytime. In a way I appreciate that the store is small because it’s less overwhelming than huge book & record stores

There is nothing better to a book lover than the smell of old books. Plus the “we love coffee drinkers” sign in the window! I was in town for a work event and had an hour to kill so I looked up local bookshops. Stumbled into this charming spot and just loved everything about it, especially the major nostalgia that came with the children’s section! TONS of stuff and GREAT prices! Will hopefully be back in the future :)

I have been going to this record store since I was a child and it’s always been great, but now that Chelsea runs the store, she’s stocking more vintage and new vinyls than ever before and building a community of music lovers in town.

I don’t shop the books here, but they do a great job keeping a good mix of vinyl records from various genres and eras. Worth checking back every week to see what you’ll find in the ‘recently arrived’ bin.

I love this place - I've only been there a couple times and I have found some great, great albums, both new and old, including a (used, but in ridiculously good condition) original Motown pressing of the Supremes first album. Great, great store.

Such a comfy little spot, if I could've spent hours in here I would've. Prices on CDs are great.

This store has everything you need and more. I love that every time I come in here I find something new. I recently started a cassette tape collection and they always have great tapes to choose from.

Amazing place for book-lovers of all types. The women in there today were super helpful, cheerful, and easy going. Will definitely be back next time I'm in need of more reading material
