I visited Neshaminy State Park today and was thoroughly impressed! The park’s natural beauty is a breath of fresh air, with its lush greenery and scenic river views. It’s a perfect spot for a family picnic, a peaceful hike, or just to enjoy some quiet time in nature. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing outdoor experience in Pennsylvania!

This place is amazing. I love the grounds! There are multiple well maintained paths to explore at various skill levels. The park itself has plenty of Pennsylvania wildlife to admire with nature's backdrop to fill your soul. The bathrooms are clean and always open. I feel safe and secure while in the park.

A daily getaway from city life, love bringing the dogs here for a 2 mile jog from the parking lot down the road to the beach, and along the trail through the woods which is nothing but nature and the occasional person and/or dogs.

Have yet to use the picnic areas or pool, but my nephew enjoys the playground on occasion. Let's keep the park clean for future generations to enjoy.

Located on the Delaware River, this state park is nice for a quick day hike and a picnic. Offering beautiful views of the water and Philadelphia Skyline, nature, picnic areas, a pool, and hiking trails.

Another beautiful park in my own backyard (25 min drive give or take), gorgeous scenery with bonus city skyline view that I didn't know existed. Go for a walk today! Be sure to dress appropriately due to bugs.

This beautiful park 🌳 is located in Bensalem Pennsylvania within Bucks County and borders the Delaware river. One of my favorite things about this park is the river “ beach 🏝 “ . If you can’t always get to the ocean, you can enjoy the scenic river waves, sand and view of Philadelphia across the water . There is also a pool 🏊🏼‍♀, hiking / walking 🚶‍♀hiking🥾and running 🏃🏾‍♀trails along with expansive picnic 🧺 and beautiful green recreational areas.

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet

A view of downtown from afar

The closest to a beach you'll find in Philly

Great place to be on July 4th! The combination of BBQ and cultural foods being cooked was aromatic and awesome. The weather was hot but the kids had a ton of fun.

Great park with beautiful views of the Delaware River. The hiking isn’t strenuous but you can get a good workout if you keep your pace up, especially along the river walk. I love it for a quick walk in nature

This scenic PA state park overlooks the Delaware River and offers a great variety of outdoor experiences. We enjoyed walking along the beach-like sandy shore with our pup. There are meadow, tidal marsh and forest areas you can explore in a 1-2 hour hike. The trail is mainly flat and well-groomed or paved. There's a young forest planted by the Phila Eagles and abundant wildlife, from butterflies to birds. For families, there are 2 playgrounds, picnic areas you can reserve and a large pool. The park is dog friendly.

This is a very nice park. They have walking (biking) trails. The River walk is the best trail to take. It offers beautiful scenic views of the river (estuary). I was pleasantly surprised to see that the river has a sandy beach you can walk on. Fishing is also permitted in certain locations aling the river but check with park management first. The Park rangers are located in a building on site.

Paved and dirt paths. A large public pool. Picnic areas with grills. Lots of new tree planting. Wild paths and so many views of the river. Whats not to love? Even have real bathrooms

This place is the best location for family photos in Bucks County. It has such easy access and great parking. There is so much open space and it is always beautiful no matter the season. Such a great spot for everything from babies to kids photography.

Very nice State park by the water. Great and safe for kids. Can also do fishing with lincense. I suggest an early start, it can get too crowded around 2pm. The only thing I didn't enjoyed seeing was how people litter the park.

We love spending an hour walking the dog, especially right before the park closes at sundown. There is no lighting there, but the rangers will politely remind you when it's time to go... Terrific.

This is a nice break from the nearby city, but you can hear the rush of cars in the section nearest the highway, so move farther in for some peace and quiet.
There's a decent amount of picnic tables and charcoal grills and there's also a pool (admission charged).
The Eagles football team in 2007 started a "Forest at Neshaminy" program in the park.
The park has several short trails, the longest of which goes through the tidal marsh area. Look for unique plants and animals in this wetland area.
Check to see if there's a show at the Playmasters Theater also in the park.
Note: Look for my review and pictures of the marina under - Neshaminy State Park Marina.
