Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was good. The fish was nice and hot. The sauce is delicious. I didn’t like the turnip greens, though they were soggy and wet. I wish they would make the vegetables without any meat in them. I have a Cracker Barrel. I brought a dress and a shirt on my way out and cut it for 70% off woo woo, woo woo.😁😄😃

My wife and I stopped for a snack while traveling southbound on the NJT. The Barrel Bites (loaded hash browns and warm just-out-of-the-oven beignets) really hit the spot. Though we had places to go, it was a picture-perfect day, so we lingered, and lolled about in the sun, enjoying the rockers and chatting each other up. Great day. 😊

The food was absolutely amazing. the server was a sweetheart it wasn't busy though and she kept saying she would be back with things and then would never come back we would have to ask another it was warm I love the decorations I love the store it was my 5th time there and my fiance's first time he really enjoyed the food the food was hot and stayed hot the entire time even while we had to wait for her to bring the tartar sauce that we had to end up asking somebody else we will be going back it was definitely good hopefully the waitress was just having an off day and will be better next time or we will just have a different waitress I'm not going to put her name because I don't want to put her out there because like I said she could have just been having an off day.

Food was very good today! I believe my server's name was Jen she was very nice and professional. I always usually get my favorite- The "Mama's French toast breakfast" with a side of bacon and eggs made however you want it, (I always order a sife of white gravy, I just like dipping my French toast in it, I like the creaminess to it, my personal preference lol) and I additionally added the strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes that I took for to-go. *update the pancakes were delicious as well, tasted it how id expected them to, nice and soft and flavorful pancakes as its an interesting description of pancakes with cream cheese filling but I'd probably order that again as well one day. I only wish they hadnt got rid of the chilled apple cider, instead i get apple juice now which is good but not the same. I love the country feel in the restaurant, the employees are always nice. I love the store and the rocking chairs..I've never had any problems when having experience in this burlington location, always happy to come back. Highly recommend Cracker Barrel! 😁💕

Went to this awesome little place! They have a pretty cool atmosphere outside with plenty of seats to relax in and there's even a few big checker boards to pass the time as well on the tables. Once inside, there is a cool gift shop with an abundance of choices available. The dining area is very clean, cozy with a real fireplace going on in the background and a very large selection of food choices. Staff are very nice and helpful as well. I even got a little button since it was Veterans day, thanking me for my service! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice little spot to go to.

I had the lunch sampler; rib tips, fried chicken strips, and shrimp w/ dumplings and turnip greens. Everything was made just right! Additionally, the dill pickle popcorn in the gift shop is absolutely addicting!

As one member of our family is disabled and can at times be difficult to take out for a meal, Cracker Barrel is perfect for our needs. It’s open, making movement easy, the wait staff is always helpful and downright kind and friendly. The food is always good and plentiful. You can’t ask for any better. The store is also always an exciting place to shop. Love their unique items!!!

Surprise of the night - I think of fried and heavier comfort foods when I think of Cracker Barrel. The surprise tonight was the low calorie lemon pepper trout and the steamed broccoli was fresh.
The Servers continue to struggle with cleaning, bussing and serving - it's not their fault.
Atmosphere - a little loud for my comfort. It was difficult for the server to hear our order. The noise issue is partly the construction of the dining space and also loud customers.

We were greeted politely and seated quickly. Our server Jorge was attentive and professional. The syrup is top notch.

Our favorite place for breakfast. My first time here a new waitress completely messed up my order and everything was so slow but the manager handled it perfectly he copped me I left a very generous tip for the waitress and we have been repeat customers ever since I would not go to another cracker barrel. I walk in and sit down and they already know what we're ordering. I love it.

French fries not good, they tasted artificial.

The food is always good. I travel a lot me and my wife so in every state we visit we always goggle for the nearest Cracker barrel. The closest to my cooking .I have been a chef for almost 50ty years.

Was really good and had big portions that was nice the sweet tea was killer

Waitress was super nice.
Stopped in with a friend to get a bite to eat. This was during Covid-19. We had to wait for about 15 minutes. They left a lot of tables open. It was a little busy.
I ordered the new fried turkey cutlets they had with squash hash and green beans. The fried turkey cutlet was very juicy and tasty. The gravy they had on top was nice and thin not too heavy not watery. All in all it had a lot of nice flavor. The squash hash was very tasty and the green beans I feel were from a can but not bad. My friend had egg whites with pancakes and turkey sausage. She said that it was good but loved my turkey cutlet. I also ordered a side of pancakes which were very good too.
The restaurant was very clean.

Our waitress, Dora, was excellent. Great customer service, gave honest reviews and opinions about lung choices. We ended up getting the Monday lunch special, chicken and dressing for $5.99 and the grilled chicken salad for $9.99. the chicken was good but the dressing, the texture was off for stuffing. It was like a ground up, extremely dried corn muffin. Very strange. Yummy Mac and cheese and cranberry sauce. The salad is always delicious.

The steak was done perfectly exactly the way I would make it, medium rare but a little more rare...just perfect!! Best one I ever had and I went to a lot of steak restaurants. Wasn't overly salted and just cooked to perfection.
Service was great as well. She did an awesome job.
Would definitely go back to this Cracker Barrel and maked it with a heart on goggle maps. Not all Cracker barrels are the same...they may look the same but not the same taste of food.

From sitting down to getting helped took 30 seconds. I asked what was good on the menu and picked the fried chicken breasts and it was yummy!
Took only 2 minutes to get my food!

The chicken, corn and mashed potatoes were all great! The corn muffin lacked any sweet or buttery flavor, so i had to butter it and pour honey on it and problem solved. I dont really like bisquits in general and didnt enjoy this one. But i must say that KFCs bisquits are soaking in oil and salt and usually hard. This bisquit has a nice baked outer shell with very soft and fluffy insides with no oily taste and no salty taste. So it is a huge improvement over KFC bisquits.

There are tons of seats, tons of parking, free parking, really awesome decorations all over the place and a really cool gift shop/country store! Lots of fun here!

As the hostess was seating us I asked if the fireplace was on. She said no but that she would start it up, which she did. This made our meal that much more enjoyable.

This was supposed to be just a quick stop 🛑 off the NJ Turnpike, but this turned out to be a new favorite 🤩 restaurant chain for my family.

Very courteous staff all around! The waitress was very good at what she was doing. Food arrived HOT 🔥 and was amazingly tasty! Talk about mouth-watering from start to finish! My wife had the new chicken 🐔 pot pie 🥧! She reluctantly let me try a bite, and I fell in love 🥰 with the homemade flavor, and large savory vegetables packed in there with the chicken and gravy!

My dish of double chicken breast was also very good 😌! Cold drinks, and hot delicious coffee ☕! Great way to recharge when driving long distances, or just to get away with family for some “good ol’ home-cooking”!

CoVid protocols 😷 in place and enforced: social distancing and diligent cleaning of all surfaces. Tables so clean you could eat right off those surfaces!

I had only been to a Cracker Barrel once when I was in Nashville. I was having it for the first time and honestly didn't have the best experience. The food was bland and dry, I knew that it would probably not be something I would eat again but I gave it another shot. This time I chose items on the menu that I knew would satisfy my hunger. I got the hashbrown casserole with steak and yummy was that dish. We also tried the 2 appetizers for 10 bucks. We got the casserole hashbrowns and the biscuit beignets. That pecan sauce was so good I dumped it onto an order of blueberry pancakes. I gotta say this time I was very happy with my choices and the food. Cracker Barrel, you got this girl wanting to come again. I'm glad I gave it another shot. I recommend you do too. Your pockets will thank you as well.
