Coney Island is a Johnstown staple, and an absolute must-see! Great hot dogs and even better Sundowners (anything with the secret chili sauce!) and everything is an awesome value for the price. Don't leave town until you snag some, and be sure to check out the old photos of town that are lining the walls 🍔

Five star hot dog joint! This place is part of Johnstown history, open for over 100 years. We ordered at the counter, and got into a silly argument, and the guys at the grill were laughing and joking right along with us. But they never missed a beat, building the great tasting dogs.
The meat sauce is not the classic 'Greek' sauce in flavor and spicing, but equally delicious. And the prices are very reasonable; four of us had lunch for under 20 bucks.

Iconic Johnstown eatery here for the next generation. When you are there take some time and look at the pictures on the wall.

Very friendly staff, Nice clean environment, good food. First time trying recommended salt and pepper on a hot dog and it was good. Some huge hot dog specials (huge artery cloggers) available..Will visit again.

We stumbled upon this iconic Johnstown restaurant and we could not be more pleased. We were greeted by friendly staff and great service. We ordered the Coney Dogs with Cheese, French Toast(sprinkled with brown sugar!!), bacon, eggs and home fries….YES we were hungry when we arrived and we left with pleasantly FULL bellies. Definitely give this place a try when in Johnstown emerge yourself in a lil history. 😋

Always make a detour when driving to Pittsburgh to stop in and get a Coney hotdog 🌭 and Sundowner burger 🍔. P.s. bring extra napkins...

Best place to eat in Johnstown and with low prices! My boyfriend and I bought an Italian sausage, a large fry, a hot dog and a drink for $11.48.

The people there were great to talk to and kept us engaged while we ate there. If we ever go back to Johnstown, we will be going back to Coney Island Lunch because the people there are great!

Highly recommend going here if you like great food, great people and a wonderful atmosphere full of cool cats 😎

Very great place to eat at

Hands down, the most AMAZING food you can get to cure a late night hunger or just heat up whenever you like! Definitely the one food you can't go wrong with for any time thorough the day. Get a couple dogs and a sundowner whenever you want to have around, and if not, they make for a great snack at any time your day!

The sundowner is amazing. Just get it to go, also ask for fresh meat. Taste a whole lot better. May take a little bit more time, but the taste is worth the wait.

Traveled from Charlotte and Leesburg to enjoy these hometown favorites. The ladies were pleasant while providing great service! A dozen CID's all the way and several Sundowners. Can't wait to come back!

Hot dogs were great, as always. Baked beans and mac and cheese excellent.

Food is a Johnstown tradition. Always attitude and consistently good food. It is a must try for out of towners and everyone in the area as well. Happy here again today. Good eating for a great price.

I thought this was a very good place! Wait time was only 10 seconds, someone was cleaning, and the food and environment was amazing. Recommend it!

For an economical and quick bite to eat. Been the best place in town for lunch for as long as I have been alive. I drive 3 hours from lake Erie to get hot dogs and visit family.
