Restaurant Morelia

This restaurant is fantastic!!! The salsa is the best salsa I’ve had in a very long time! & they sell it, so buy some when you leave! The place is pretty little, not a ton of tables. We waited about 30 minutes but service was so quick once we sat down. Margaritas are really good! Tostadas are really good. Prices are very reasonable! Definitely recommend checking this little gem out!

My family and I have been coming to this location for a very very long time. There have been a few changes over the years (we think the salsa recipe may have changed a touch, but it could also be our taste buds 😂). Overall though, still solid customer service, fresh hot food and the portions are massive at a very reasonable price. You won't find chicharrón or tacos de lengua, but there are enough traditional touches to keep everyone happy. The Chile relleno is absolutely addictive. There's a reason they are still in business after all these years!

Restaurante La Morelia is an excellent place to visit with your friends and eat yummy comfort food like chili verde burritos and beef tacos! That is exactly what I had today and my girlfriend had the taco salad. It was topped with sour cream and guacamole and vegetables and cheese her salad looked excellent! She said it was good. My burrito was excellent the pork was chop very small and easy to chew. The spice was just right. I added a little bit of salsa because I like salsa! We had fruit punch which was refreshing for our lunch. The atmosphere is excellent friendly and easy-going. Lots of beautiful decor and an original painting of the owner.

Food is always amazing! Great portions and super tasty. Restaurant itself is tiny and gets packed very quickly making it a bit hot if you're going to dine in. But you can still enjoy their great food by calling ahead and ordering to go

Phenomenal Mexican food. Great service, and great prices. Definitely worth checking out. In an old Ihop A Frame. Quaint, with character. Locally owned. Go give it a try. The Larry Miller was awesome!

Amazing food with great service! David and his crew serve up authentic Mexican cuisine without compromise! Everything is so fresh and delicious! You will not be disappointed as everything on the menu is on point! Portion size is a great value for the $.

Great clean place to stop in for lunch. Easy to find right off of state st. DELICIOUS FOOD! It is not to spicy! The fresh salsa is amazing! Morelia is now one one of my new favorite places! $

This has become my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is so delicious and the servers are awesome. They have great chips and salsa and they have the best huevos rancheros around.

Some of the yummiest mexican food around. They have the absolute best all you can eat chips and salsa appetizer. Not too spicy, but spicy enough for flavour. So many choices on the menu it was difficult to settle for one dish! Luckily they have combo meals that include tacos, enchiladas, and more. Lunch and dinner menus, kid friendly options, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff. Definitely a must try place. There is often a wait time (if you don't book a reservation) but trust me, the food is well worth the short wait.
I got the chili verde chimichunga, with avocado and lettuce, mexican rice, beans, and it came with some extra veggies and chips for the beans. I had to take half of it home! (See picture)

I substituted the Chile Verde Burrito for a chicken Burrito, and it's one of the best I've ever had!

The Chili Verde enchiladas have been my go to for years. Not very spicy, but great flavor.

I have been going to Morelias for decades and they never disappoint. Even after we moved away a few years ago we never miss a chance to visit Morelia's when we come back to town. I love that they have the Orange Bang drink and I can eat their salsa by the gallon. Everything on the menu is great!

This place is clean, small and the best Mexican food ever. The chili releno will curl your toes. It is a little loud but the good is better than any place I have tried in the valley.

Everywhere I go the chili verde is nothing but tortilla and too much cheese with pork strips here and there. Not this place though. Recommended.

Always a great experience. Good food, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere. They were able to fit our large party of 14, and the service was quick and attentive. There's a wide variety to choose from, and the combo meals are a personal favorite.
The portion sizes are decent, and we usually end up taking leftovers home. I highly recommend getting a side of chips and salsa to go!

This is a family favorite. This is the kind of place that everyone has their favorite dish they get almost every time. The staff are always wonderful. Super attentive and friendly. The salsa is fresh and flavorful, we always take a pint to go! I love the tacos and steak fajitas! My partner loves the cheese Enchiladas and the chili Verde burritos! I don't think I've tried anything I didn't like there. It's one restaurant we have to eat at at least twice a month!

My favorite spot for Mexican food. My family has been going here since before I was born. Definitely a local gem that deserves to be appreciated. If you’ve never been before I recommend the Chile verde.

My family has been going here to enjoy the best Mexican food in the state for over 25 years! This is our go to spot for every celebration. The food is incredible and the service is above and beyond. We have grown to become friends with almost all the staff and they are all such neat people. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Definitely a must try if you haven't yet!!!

The owner and staff at Morelia are the best! I've been dining here for years and I am happy to recommend them for good Mexican food. I was very happy to celebrate my 2022 graduation at your restaurant, and I look forward to many more years of celebrations and nights out at your restaurant!
