Skinny Pancake Stowe

Delicious crepes! Beautiful and cozy place, our food came fast and we loved! Staffs were friendly and accommodating. A lot of vegan options as well. We tried “Cheesy Chicken Pesto”, “Johnny Crepe”, “Breakfast Monster” and “Heartbreaker”, all amazing!

The Skinny Pancake is right up there with being one of the best breakfast spots in Stowe! I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out, specifically if you love crêpes: that’s what this restaurant is known for! We have been here multiple times (and other locations) and have always been very happy with our meal. You just order at the counter and the food comes out very fast - it’s perfect if you’re just wanting a quick breakfast before you head out for the day and explore Stowe/Smuggs/Waterbury or beyond! It really doesn’t matter if you choose a sweet or savory crêpe - we’ve had both and they’re always excellent. And they even have gluten-free crêpes as well, which is awesome! Our favorites are the Hot Apple Crumble, Blueberry Pie, Lovemaker (add strawberries as well), Johnny Crepe, K-Pop, and Apple and Brie! All in all, fantastic little restaurant, and one you definitely need on your list next time you’re in Stowe!

Great breakfast place in Stowe VT. 5 minutes walk from the main thoroughfare. The Buffalo chicken crepe was awesome. The breakfast sandwich my wife had was fried egg and bacon with a garlic aioli and it was excellent. This place had a great selection of coffees and some breakfast cocktails as well.

Loved stopping by here on way to hike pinnacle. It's a great bite to eat and fresh. Wasn't busy at all. I got the special my wife got the the love maker. Both were delish. End of eating last bite or 2 my wife found a hair in her food. We didn't think much of it and it was fine as we didn't want to make a fuss... All in all we would def go back as it was enjoyable and wonderful... Highly recommend this place for a good breakfast

I will admit, I miss McCarthy's so I may be a bit biased. Atmosphere is very open, clean and staff is friendly. The layout is well done. The service model takes a bit to get used to. You first have to get a table, then you can either order from phone or go up to counter. Water is self serve. So for large family can be a bit of an inconvenience. The food came out very quickly by staff and looked great. Crepes were very tasty. One thing I was not happy about was the bacon, 3 pieces of bacon for $4.50. Where as a side on homefries was $6.50 and more than plentiful for two to share. Kids loved all the different crepes

Big filling breakfast crepes, get savory or sweet. We had the ham & cheese- but the real winner at the table was the apple crumble. Don’t be afraid to have dessert for breakfast!

Went here for brunch at around 11am on a Friday. Not busy, they were very quick with our food. This is the type of restaurant where you order your food at the counter and seat yourself. The crepes are delicious and they have a great variety, including savory, sweet, and breakfast specific. We got the Noah’s Ark, the Apples and Brie, the Johnny Crepe and the breakfast burrito, all of which were fantastic. Wide variety of drinks including beer, cocktails, wine, and CBD drinks. The bathrooms were also very clean which was pleasant. I would definitely recommend and would for sure come back if I’m in the area again.

I loved the place. Delicious crepe with variety of options to choose from. Don’t forget to get maple Latte here. It’s wonderful. Very cute place with sweet and humble staffs. It’s a bit expensive though.

This is one of the places I've been planning for months to go to on our vacation, but wasn't sure if it was going to make the cut and last minute we decided on coming here. When you walk in and get seated you look at the menu and then go in and order and then they'll bring your food out.
The hostess/waitress was nice. Food prices were average. I ordered an iced maple latte and got it hot, which is fine, but they're not very sweet so if you've got a sweet tooth like me it's not a great choice. I ordered the Deja Vu crepe with apples and it was delicious, very balanced between the sweet and savory, the apples were more of a tart element, and the maple syrup was amazing. Boy ordered a dessert crepe and added extra maple syrup in case he wasn't going to get enough sugar. Husband ordered the banana and Nutella crepe and poutine. Everything was delicious. Service was good. Would recommend for a sit down breakfast, although it's hard to choose with so many coffee/breakfast shops so close to each other.

Great spot for a unique breakfast or lunch! I think the sign said open till 8pm select nights as well. Stopped for breakfast on vacation and thought is funky spot was so fun. They have a sign when you walk in showing where all their products come from! I had gluten free hot apple crumble crepe with ice cream. Boyfriend had Noah's Ark breakfast. Local coffee and local tea. Walk in they seat you and you can order from booth on your phone or go up to counter. We did counter. Food was delicious 😋

Great place, the interior is pretty. Got the Breakfast Sammy in a brioche bun, sugarshack pancakes and breakfast burrito. The Sammy sandwich was so simple and tasty, a perfect combo of egg and mayo pesto. The other two items were great too. A good stop for breakfast in the town.

Wonderful crepes and maple latte! Loved my Sugarshack maple crepe (Vermont, so of course going maple) and daughter liked her Chocolate crepe. Maple latte was best I had so far in Stowe. Service was superb and very friendly. They seem committed to sourcing ingredients and foods local. Recommend to anyone who loves crepes.

Not a lot of places are open during the off season, middle of the week scenario. Happy to find they were open on a Wednesday! Stopped in for some burgers😋 I know, burgers at a crepe place. They also had quite an assortment of delicious cocktails🍹. My junebug cocktail was super refreshing. Everything tasted as if it wad made fresh. Maddy was super helpful in putting our orders through and checking in on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. Be sure to stop in and try this cute little local place 🥰❤

Stopped here for some breakfast food today. Didn't know what to expect , nice from the exterior and even nicer in the interior.

Friendly staff , average prices.

Our food came out perfectly.

We decided to try their "bacon egg and cheese croissant" also their "sugar shack crepe"

For our beverage we had milk with our meal , also a hot chocolate, and the wife had lemonade...

all very good.

The croissant came with a pesto style mayonnaise so if you love pesto then this is the place to be .

We had such a great experience here and the food was perfect.

Nice work " Skinny Pancake " would love to stop by and try something else on their menu if in the area.

I would definitely recommend you stop here for some good breakfast or lunch.

A truly unique experience that fits right in with the Stowe, VT atmosphere. Excellent service as well as a great selection of "skinny pancakes" plus coffee and niche type beverages, this place will absolutely not disappoint. Highly recommend to any foodie or if you're just hungry for a great meal.

Best breakfast crepe I’ve had in a very long time! Get there early as they fill up quick on Sundays - you also order and pay at the cash register and grab your own drinks. The food also took quite a while to be ready so be sure you have time to spare. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Edited to say that we made another trip to VT and I insisted we visit again! We made a reservation this time and were seated promptly at the appointed time. The food came out within 30 minutes and was just as delicious I remembered. I am looking forward to my next trip up!

We had a great late breakfast here, we got the bacon egg and cheese on a cornmeal crepe and the apple and Brie on a sweet crepe, both were good. We also got the sweet potato fries with a variety of dipping sauces which was delicious. We were a bit bummed that they didn’t have traditional crepe filling fruits (like strawberries), but our food was still very good. The service was a little slow, but it matched the general laid back feeling of the restaurant and we liked that we didn’t feel rushed. The chai latte was also delicious and light in flavor.

Wow!!!! What a wonderful breakfast we had!!!! This place is worth eating at!!! Try the fresh apple cider and the crepes with the apples inside!!! Everything from beginning to end was perfect! You don't want to miss out on the Skinny Pancake!!!!!

Super delicious food and they even had a GF batter option. The environment is super cute, friendly and welcoming. Staff are super sweet too.

Great breakfast spot. Service was fast, but they're mostly high school/college students, so the attention to detail is a little lacking. But the food itself was great.
