Martell's at the Red Fox

This location was very close to our resort and after arriving to the area late and looking for dinner options, they were going to close within an hour of us arriving. They still served us dinner and did not rush us out. Definitely coming back again here. David was a super host and very friendly.

Fantastic pub grub. Italian items are recommended. Darn good Chili as well

We stopped in for some dinner and ran the gambit of food from seafood to flatbread. Everything was good, hot and fresh. Nice hidden gem just off the main road. I would highly recommend this place for dinner and sure lunch is just as good.

Glad we made a reservation because even at 5pm and few skiers around between Christmas and New Years (no snow, mostly mud), Martell's was packed and it was easy to understand why. Great atmosphere (think it used to be a Church or Schoolhouse), warm, great casual food which was a notch above what it could have been. Great beer selection, well-priced. Good for groups and families.

We had such a good experience as a last minute spot for lunch! The food and sandwiches we got for lunch were amazing. My BLT melt and the fried pork sandwich were so good. The bloody Marys were homemade which were also delicious!! Our waitress was also really great. Definitely recommend.

Really liked this place, the food was much more special than we expected, interesting flavors and combos. We also enjoyed attentive service and great down to earth atmosphere! Also, house wine was delicious and all in all beer, wine and drink lists had great selections!

Best pancakes my husband and I have ever had. Very light and fluffy, syrup was also the perfect balance of light and sweet. The rest of our breakfast was also good, but we've been raving about the pancakes for days.

Great place to stop and have a good lunch in the middle of the mountain. They have more options on their food menu and drink. Chicken wings in a maple teriyaki sauce is so good.

Great experience. When I called for a 6pm reservation for 4 the employee suggested a 6:30 reservation instead as there was a party of 16 at 6 and didn’t want our service to be impacted. We ordered drinks and the calamari appetizer that were served promptly during the orders being served for the party of sixteen. Our entrees were served within 10 minutes of our appetizer. Another party of 12 came in while we were finishing our appetizer. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is very laid back, not a white tablecloth restaurant. But the service and servers are very attentive and the food very good which is why they deserved this review. We’ll be back for sure.

If you want a 5 star NYC restaurant, this is not the place. If you want good food and a warm atmosphere, this is the place! Good selections of food and drink. Portions are good and the choice of appetizers is great!

This place is phenomenal - the food was absolutely amazing for the price point, great service, and the live music provided all the right vibes. Two major standouts were the jambalaya and the shrimp po' boy.

I had the dry rub wings and I must say they were phenomenal. Prices here for being so close to a ski resort were reasonable. I'd definitely visit again and would recommend. The pool table is in really great shape.

Great, friendly service, excellent diverse menu, excellent portions, reasonable prices...a cozy comfy place....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Updated...3 years since last vist & review (due to pandemic). Nothing has changed -- great, friendly service, etc. Had brunch this time - eggs benedict were superb!

Favorite local restaurant! Food is always amazing, and not over priced. Lots of local VT beers and drinks, always a great band and a pool table too! Never a bad time at Martell's!

It's not even a joke! Best damn food I've had in almost 7 months. I loved my meal to the fullest, actually had me laughing. I was so impressed. I could feel the vibes for sure... telling me to treat my body better and eat well. The coleslaw was absolutely the BEST I ever had not mention the ranch as well. So damn good. People were very kind and much room for the family. Can't wait to go back this weekend and check out the music jams. Disc Golf for life Baby! Stay True!

Just had the most amazing breakfast!!! Everything was absolutely delicious! I had the Mountain Man breakfast that came with a pancake, French toast, eggs, bacon AND sausage, homefries, and toast. I'm picky about my homefries but these were so good! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. I don't even like sausage but the sausage links were out of this world! Also can't rave enough about the bacon and pancakes. We all enjoyed our breakfast and can't wait to go back. Staff was great as well. Highly recommend!
